Thoughts on Leslie and Tyler's Big Secret
So everyone, I gotta get your insight. What do you think Leslie and Tyler are hiding? I really wanna know, and I feel that if we post theories on the board, we can get to the bottom of it. I have a few thoughts, but I might be wrong. Here are my theories:
A) Leslie is actually Tyler’s Mom: I know it sounds far fetch, but we have to remember, this is JFP writing for Y&R. She did it with Johnny and Claudia (Even though their age difference was like 5-10 years) so I’m thinking, she may do this with Tyler and Leslie.
B) Leslie was a hooker, and killed their mother. What if Leslie was a hooker while studying law, paying tuition by turning tricks? Maybe her mother found out, they had a fight, and Leslie killed her?
C) Tyler and Leslie are not who they say they are. What if Tyler and Leslie are con artists trying to rip of the Winters family? What if they are trying to clean them outta cash?
POST YOUR SUGGESTIONS ON THE BOARD SO WE DISCUSS!

Jayson,
Hate to burst your bubble, but JFP is not writing scripts. Josh Griffith is and he would never go down that road. That's too Passionish for the kind of storytelling he writes.
Yeah, Josh Griffith doesn't really strike me too much as a "Far fetched" writer. In fact, sometimes I wish he WOULD go way out for a story...but yeah, he's very controlled, subtle, and realistic, which fits Y&R.
As for Leslie and Tyler, I've read spoilers, so I'll keep my mouth shut, though I have absolutely no idea what the secret could be, I know who it involves, and i"m EXCITED!!!
Perhaps Leslie and the Mr. X conceived a child during the affair and she has the child hidden somewhere, with one of her "aunties"...?
Could it be Mamie?
Tracy, I'm digging your idea! I think that the baby daddy is Congressman Wheeler! Then, Jack could have leverage on him with this info. I'm feeling this right here!
stoney07, I read that Congressman Wheeler is Leslie's ex. This is gonna get interesting!
I'm loving this ride with this story! Mixing in Mark Pinter adds a delicious taste in mouth...Leslie...TraceyAbbott that could be interesting if Leslie gave a baby up for adoption.
This story has kick to it!
The only thing I want to add is that while I have liked Leslie from the beginning and it made sense to tie Tyler to her, I'm not sure about bringing on "new" characters and having them have a back story without first working them into the current characters.
But I DO love me a good secret...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
My guess about the secret which Leslie and Tyler are hiding - Leslie mentioned having an affair with a client who became controlling and possessive. I am guessing that the client ended up dead and Leslie and Tyler know something about the 12-year-old murder - but not really who actually did the deed. However, they DO know that the guy who is in prison, whom Avery is supposedly working to free - is INNOCENT. By speaking up, Leslie and Tyler COULD get the innocent guy off the hook - BUT they know that IF they say anything Leslie, and quite possibly Tyler also - would become suspects. So they have been keeping quiet for the past twelve years. They ALSO know that Congressman Wheeler knows something about the murder - maybe even who did the deed - and that he has been keeping quiet all of this time when the Congressman COULD get the innocent guy off the hook as well - but, by saying something, the Congressman could end up becoming a suspect as well. For example, at the same time that Leslie was having an affair with the possessive, controlling client - the possessive, controlling client was ALSO involved in an affair with Wheeler's wife. Avery will eventually figure out that all of these people may have some idea about WHO killed the possessive, controlling client - but will have a difficult time persuading any of them to reveal what they know in order to get the innocent guy off the hook. My best guess would be that Wheeler's wife was just as controlling and possessive as Leslie's controlling and possessive client and, when Wheeler's wife discovered that the controlling and possessive client was two-timing her with Leslie, Wheeler's wife whacked the two-timing, possessive and controlling client. Wheeler discovered that his wife had whacked the client - but arranged to have the murder covered up. In the meantime, the police nabbed the Innocent Guy Whom Avery is trying to Get Off the Hook. Stephanie Gayle (The Congressman's deceased call girl, pill-popping daughter), discovered that her mother had whacked the two-timing client, that her father had covered up his wife's involvement in the murder, and that an Innocent Man was doing jail time for the murder - and knowing about all of that is what drove Stephanie to popping pills and hiring out to hop into bed with strangers. When Avery finally succeeds in freeing the Innocent Man, the Innocent Man will arrive in Genoa City and will be portrayed by a Friend of Jill, and will end up gobbling up whatever air time is left over after Friends of Jill Summer, Noah and Dylan have gobbled up their daily quota.
@: I wish it was Passions Aliastar Crane and Liz style Story.
Liz: I'm a good church goings woman.
Aliaster: Ah, do you shake all over when you hear God's name
?!
Leslie has to be Tyler's mom... hopefully... cause you are right, stoney. Josh G is to 'controlled' to make that s/l happen.
I'm not sure...If Leslie is Tyler's mom? Nuh. I've been mauling maybe Tyler will be Senator Wheeler's son but not with Leslie. Maybe their mother had a connection to Senator Wheeler? He blackmailed Leslie into having an affair? Maybe their mom died from having a relationship with the Senator....
This goes to show you as EP you take a "role" to the actor who can play that elemnet...NOT put an actor in a "role" that doesn't fit...ie Tucker...JFP made a wise choice in Mark Pinter because I'm enjoying the hell out of his small role!
Yesterday the tit-for-tac between the Senator & Victor was excellent! An actor that can hold his own against EB...superb. Again Mark could play this role in is sleep and so fun to watch him and EB

She could be and he may not know it at the same time! Juicy!
JAYSON369 -- Like the ol Love Family in the 1980s on Another World. Best reveal ever of a I'm not your sister, I'm your mother. Where is my Donna Stuart, who played a hot and sexy, neurotic woman!
