Joshua Morrow on Steve Burton's 1st Day!
January 8, 2013 - 8:03pm
JM's tweet: worked with @1SteveBurton today, dude fits in well - doesnt take himself 2 seriously & can handle my verbal assaults like a champ #WellPlayed
How long before the ish hits the fan? Or do you guys think it'll happen at all?

@Evangeline Vega: Quicker than a Jehovah Witness can knock on every door and window of your house to try and save you from burning in hell.
@david46208 LMAO! It's gonna be a Twitter must-read & a Daytime top scoop if the roof explodes.
Josh seems to be the dude who wants to hang with all the other dudes. Oh well...
@Pferrando I think you classified him well. JM went on to tweet about how he thinks SBu has done Daytime before *Wink Wink* and in a "Handsome off" b/t him & SBu, SBu comes in 1st and he holds down 2nd.
Steve Burton also couldn't find the cafeteria where some bagels where & Christian LeBlanc tweeted him to let him know where to go and not to "starve", lol. Thought that bit was cute and funny.
In my opinion, Josh M. is a WHOLE lotta hotter than Steve B.!
loved the scene today with a shirtless Josh M.
Lauren had better jump on that H U N K Y Carmine! ! !
If Steve Burton is going to clash with anybody on the Y&R set, it won't be Josh Morrow. Josh is way too cool for that.
Eric Braeden, Peter Bergman and Michael Muhney on the other hand......?
We're talking egos the size of Mount Rushmore.
@stefanstavros I tweeted him and told him he's number one to me!
@TraceyAbbot101 Anytime Josh Morrow is shirtless its a good scene. All I know Carmine better be shirtless in some capacity. He can be cleaning a pool for all I care, lol.
@SoapArmageddon Yeah Josh gets along w/ everybody. He seems like someone I would like to know.
Yeah EB & PB may try to let him know who's boss but I don't think JFP is going to let her prized pony get his feelings hurt. MM, on the other hand, may start off nice but when SBu disagrees on something MM thinks is law then Twitter & DC will be buzzing...Once MM tweets about it.
@Evangeline Vega - I was so glad to see a shirtless Josh M today - there are days when I tire of Nick, then I see that chest..... sigh.... I get the vapors.... I just hope his son follows suit and we see some shirtless Noah soon, esp now that A is back in town...
Just keep that paper bag over Victor's head, please.... in fact, put VN in a body bag as soon as possible, given the lax security team over at the ranch.
I am also hoping for a shirtless Fenmore and a nude scene from Carmine, oh, the scenes I could write that would have Carmine showing that fine... ah.... ass.....
Am I missing something? Was this Canada's episode? I haven't watched today...
@TraceyAbbot101 Even if Nick is a basic mentally as a person can get, when he's shirtless he's smokin'. I honestly try not to put to much energy into Nick when he goes into caveman mode. I just mute him.
This Noah reminds me exactly of Nick so it is only a matter of time before he's sulking and shirtless and happy and shirtless and tending the bar and shirtless...Well you get my point.
Victor's ole depends wearing ass needs to go take a nap and leave business to the people that can get out of a chair in less than an hour.
I love cray-cray Fen; it just shows Lauren and Michael they probably shouldn't have had children. Plus it shines a mirror in their face to the way they used to act. Basically their chickens have come home to roost. I wonder what Fen looks like shirtless?
The writers know Carmine needs to be shirtless in every capacity.
@Pferrando It was today's US eppy. I watched the Sharon/Nick scenes. I might watch the rest tonight.
Sigh..... visions of Carmine's plums dancing in my head...
What also would have been good after a sex scene with Nick and Avery, would have been a close up of Jessica Collins in short shorts walking around her apartment. Her behind has gotten just a little bit bigger in the last few months (a good thing), she must be eating some of her baked goods.
Josh G is a good example of a guy staying fit in his late 30s.
Joshua Morrow is very cool guy and doesn't have time for backstage drama. Even VR only had GREAT things to say about him (I love her but we all know how much of a diva she can be so anyone who can get along with her can get along with anyone). Also JM is secure in his position on the show. I don't think he will ever be threatened to be let go and he is happy for whatever SL and airtime he gets. It is just a job to him. Totally different is MM. His self worth seems to be tied to the character Adam. And he is very concious of "the pecking order". If SBu and Dylan become popular and get lots of airtime, you better believe that there is going to be some drama. I will give it 8/10 weeks. Until they get their second set of scripts this year. And if SBu is on more than him....problem
Divatude -- Josh M was almost let go back in 2006. He was crying the blues on the Net, saying back then, that LML thought he was just another 'set of abs'. So, no, no one is ever safe on Y&R.
I missed this one. Why were they letting him go? Was there a reason given?
LML was the biggest loon and friend of Bloom. Isn't she the idiot that killed off John Abbott.
She really did alter the direction of the show, and then it never recovered under MAB (story wise).
It's a terrible thing to say, but I hated seeing her name. For me this was the period when the show was unwatchable. I'd FF through it every day, and had NEVER done that ever before.
MAB has her haters, but no one was worse for this show than that crazy ness.
@Divatude58 Completely agree w/ you! As for MM agree w/ you also & so far he is playing nice. SBu had a tweet to the effect that MM was showing him around and thanked him on twitter. But I'll still give it as much time as you did. I'll lump EB in there too!
Divatude -- Josh Morrow was in contract negotiations in the Spring 2006, and LML had the Newman plane go down, and Nick was presumed dead. When Mr Morrow re-signed, after giving into SONY's demands, Morrow made that comment about his abs. So Nick reappeared, with Logan in town, and Nikki and Phyllis could finally stop crying.
pferrando -- 'friend of Bloom'? Does that relate to the best Heather Williams ever, Vail Bloom? LML had some major issues with The Show. Killing off John Abbott, saying she could not write for Ashley. She really liked the turn of focus to Gloria. Gloria, Gloria, Gloria.
As we watch Adriana prance around Genoa City,or Kevin and Chloe debate the half-million dollar bag of money -- let's remember the good days of Maria Bell. As Alex the Detective pops up with his 'mysterious' ways -- let's think of Maria's numerous and well-written s/l's, and there are many.
Lynn Marie Latham was the absolute WORST HW of Y&R...I don't care what people say on here....MAB wasn't as bad as LML.
She got rid of my Ashley (well, so did MAB lol). She killed John Abbott!! She took all of that Classic Y&R music and dumped it for that ridiculous techno crap. Those storylines were awful (Reliquary anyone?) Even Joshua Morrow had to comment about how ridiculous the reliquary crap was. She had Nikki and Jack running for the senate in a RIDICULOUS story. She had Dru go over that cliff and a funeral for Dru with like 4 family members and thats IT. She had all those ridiculous murders, Plum, Ji Min, etc. She turned Dru into an "angry black woman" running around town grabbing hair and being loud, which Drucilla never was. She was larger than life, but never cliche. She took Brad Carlton who was ALL KNEW...who had been investigated and traced back in the '80s, and turned him into some dude named George who was a part of something...lord, I don't even remember because it was so ridiculous. She had Victor Newman cutting out paper snowflakes.
HOWEVER, she brought us Jana and Kevin which I loved in the beginning (until MAB killed it. She kept Michael and Lauren together as a couple. She brought on Cane (who some fans really like...well not ME but SOME fans). She did manage to give Gloria a few good stories even though she practically devoured Y&R.
Yeah, in all, LML was a bit worse than MAB, though MAB was no prize. I never thought MAB was THAT bad though, until 2012 when things just got out of hand. But I defended her for so long because for most of the time she was HW I felt people just wouldn't give Y&R a chance, which even NOW they are not. But I doubt that has anything to do with the writers as much as it does that people just don't want to like Y&R anymore. It's kind of a bandwagon thing for a lot of people online.
That reliquary story was the absolute worst. It was at that time that I quit watching the show at broadcast time and began taping it in order to fast-forward through the unwatchable bits, of which there were many.
The only defense I can make of LML (and a pretty weak one at that) is that ALL of the eight soaps on air at that time, except perhaps for B&B, were doing really crappy stories.
LML = Clear Springs!!!!!!!
YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't think of ONE thing I liked under LML. She wouldn't use diamonds in storylines, wouldn't allow burning fireplaces, the staff couldn't use water bottles and all the stuff everyone mentions above.
Good God, Senate and Clear Springs...enough said. AND the show never looked or sounded like Y and R. At least Maria got that right.
Victoria in a coma for 5 years due to a fallen pebble. teehee....I still think they gotta got a rock or something that was a little more believable.
Bloom gave LML the power to axe Kay Alden and Jack Smith. Just awful. It is truly delicious that LML and Bloom are both out of daytime now.
Well seeing as how I don't find SB very attractive that's a given but Joshua Morrow is one of the hottest things walking upright on daytime right now and he only gets better with age. And yes, he can walk around Avery's place shirtless all day and I'd be a very happy man(although I will say it's time to bring those black boxer briefs back onto the scene).
