Days: I just can't watch it anymore!
Yesterday's episode (January 3, 2013) has to have been one of the most painful episodes for me to watch, more specifically the horrendously written scene between Rafe and Nicole. That whole scene there between those two felt like being in a dentist office having a tooth pulled with NO Novocaine! That is how unbearably bad it was. As much as I want to continue to watching it for the Will & Sonny storyline, I just can't subject myself to watching this dreadful show any longer. This show will be off the air before too long and I really don't want to get myself anymore attached to it than I already am. So, time to cut the umbilical cord and say so long to my afternoon's of watching Days.
Shame on you Ken Corday for turning this show into one of most unwatchable shows on TV today.

@ChristianDavis148: I gave up 3 weeks ago. Bad writing, terrible storylines and unwitting dialogue. Plus, why was still watching a soap with no diversity? So I'm back to Y&R!
I am completely soapless at the moment. Thank God for Webseries and Netflix. I have been watching Shameless (UK) and have been much more ingrossed in their lives than anything showing on daytime ( I am sure GH is good for the loyal viewers, it just never caught me. Y&R needs a fast track story to pump some energy into it.)
I would start watching Days again, if they started rerunning old episodes(70s and 80s.) I just can't watch any more of the junk that they are rushing out. If they would put on just one noteworty scene in each episode.....
Well, I'm now down to 2 shows, B&B and Y&R. I've watched both of those shows for more than half of my life (and I'm only 44). And I could care less that Chloe will drop a bombshell on Daniel that Parker is actually Dr. Hairy Crotch's (that's Jamey's name for Daniel Jonas) son, not Phillip's on today's Days. I'll skip it!
Re diversity: Admittedly, the show has two Latino and two gay characters, but the way it has neglected African-American and other minority representation is just shameful in this day and age.
Where were Abe and Theo at Christmas? Why don't we see them and Cameron dealing with their grief over Lexie's passing? Why aren't they hooking Abe up with Nurse Maxine or someone else?
How about a storyline in which a grieving Stefano and the other Dimeras try to take Theo away from Abe?
I think that DAYS should probably try to bring back Bo. Just not the same without him.
@SoapArmageddon: I've said to age Theo to teen and have Abe and Stefano fighting for the soul of Theo who is drawn to the Dimera side of his family after people start to bully him in school and the mention of being a Dimera scares people off.
