B&B: Ridge will return! So, does that mean that Brad Bell has recast the role already or...............................?
I read the spoilers for down the road this morning and it did say that Ridge will indeed return. I think Brad was waiting to bring Ridge back AFTER Susan Flannery's last storyline aired and the cast got through that. So, here's my thought: Brad has either already recast the role with a different actor (my first choice would be Peter Reckell (ex-Bo Brady; DOOL) OR (and this is a long shot) perhaps Brad and Ronn Moss have come to an understanding regarding Ronn's contract situation and Ronn will indeed return to the role of Ridge. My bet is on the recast. If Brad had gotten a deal done with Ronn Moss, Ronn would have returned for Stephanie's farewell party and stuck around. Since he didn't, my money is on the fact that Brad has indeed recast the role.

Because if you are, that same spoiler has been there since before Ronn Moss left. It is purely speculation and might not ever come true.
harlee, Wow! This is one actor I hadn't even considered! If Vincent Irrazary were to take over, he could give Ridge a bit of an edge that Ronn Moss just couldn't. Vincent is a far better actor than Ronn and he could really make the role of Ridge his own and put his own spin on the character. I'm actually starting to like that idea!

David...I would like him as Dayzee's bio dad on B&B. He goes looking for her because she was adopted by horrible parents and how she end up on the streets.
Christian...I've been saying this since it was announce Ronn was leaving the show. Vincent could give Ridge so much more depth. I don't want a David Hayward villain but something along the lines of Nick McHenry which he played that character excellent. Let Ridge come back and Eric has taken over Forrester again and they clash on the direction because of Thomas has damaged the FC.
The chemistry between him and KKL could be electric and bring home RJ into the mix, it's time for him to return home.
KKL said she doesn't want Bridge if RONN MOSS isn't playing the character, so it looks like Ridge will be put back with Taylor...I'm guessing. Or maybe Donna...hell, with Brad Bell writing, maybe he'll be put with Hope...
This is my problem with actors now days this isn't the glorious '80s or '90s, as much as I love KKL she shouldn't be dictating who Brooke is with rather nuRidge or anyone else. Get real because it could be good drama.
I agree!! I still think KKL was a big part of Sean Kanan's Deacon not returning full time. It's just my own speculation, and she DID say out of her own mouth that she didn't want that revisited...but geez...she's not the writer, and neither are any of the other cast members. Let BRad Bell write...and DO YOUR JOB!!! ugh...
ICAM. Not to mention that KKL always said that Ridge is Brooke's great love. It's a little bit unprofessional if she said that she won't support this couple anymore because a different actor is in the role.
Breacon and Bricky apparently couldn't happen again - or never stood a chance - because of Bridge ... and now it's anything but because Ronn Moss no longer wants to play the part!?

Twould be great to have Dave Irrazary come back as Ridge. MAB treated him like so much garbage by killing him off Y&R as Dave Chow, and making him one-dimensional evil.
Oh. I would love a new Ridge with taylor. I cannot stand Brooke. I used to like her once, used to root for her now she is just too annoying and KKL's acting has not improved. She the new Stephanie--I THINK NOT.
Oh, you may not like Brooke, but you had to love the "Slap Heard Around The World" the other day when Brooke one-handed Taylor across the face for what Taylor said (which is true), but Taylor never should have said that given that there is a family crisis occurring at the moment. It was about time that Taylor got knocked down a peg or two with that slap. Taylor and Brooke had been getting along much better recently and it was only because of Stephanie's cancer having come back but then Taylor had bring out her ugly side and she got a much deserved slap for it. YOU GO BROOKE!
Oh Please. I'm glad Taylor did not slap her back--she has more class. Taylor is frustrated with Brooke whose sister she is trying to help(she recognises Brooke's moves--she would, she has suffered as a result of them.

Brooke Logan is the most Polarizing character in soap history either strongly hate her of really love her. No other character on any soap has that power. KKL has put in work and earned B&B as her house.
I agree KKL has put in work and made Brooke Logan HER character....HOWEVER, the only reason I hate Brooke so much right now is because either HER decision on how her character should be written or Brad Bell's decision to rewrite history and make Brooke the romantic heroine that she never was. She's always been the vixen...never the heroine. We had Caroline as the heroine, and then as much as people pretend she wasn't, TAYLOR was the heroine after Caroline.
Now we have to watch 30 minutes of everyone propping Brooke while making Taylor (And her fans) look crazy for believing something that happened NEVER HAPPENED. It definitely happened!!! Ridge and Taylor were happy for years and years, just like Brooke and Deacon were HAPPILY having an affair. However, it's all been whitewashed along with every other thing Brooke has ever done. It's ridiculous. But every time Taylor is brought up, we have to hear that she slept with Steven Logan, and Rick, blah blah blah...but Brooke gets a pass...but that's not my point.
My point IS...Brooke has been Stephanie's enemy since the show's inception. Even after their harmonious gathering during teh whole homeless storyline, Stephanie SCHEMED to get Thomas to lie about having slept with Brooke. She tried untiringly to get Brooke and Ridge apart. And then one random day she decided to give up...and now all of a sudden she can't spend her last moments with her husband,s he has to spend them with Brooke? WE don't get any last meaningful conversations with her best friend (Taylor) or her two daughters (Kristen and Felicia) or her SISTER (Pam)....all we get is non stop Brooke. And for THAT reason, I have given up on B&B once and for all. Brad Bell's Brooke obsession is disgusting. I like Brooke when she's in her element, but I don't like the constant propping of Brooke and her SIL spawn Hope. BLECH

I still am a big fan of Ronn Moss coming back as Ridge and back w/Brooke. MY all time favorite couple. Since he left B&B has not been the same.I only see KKL & RM together..even w/Stephanie passing story line.
I have gotten to where I do not watch it every day. If I miss it, I don't even replay it on the tv. Nothing going at all. I think the Trio of Steffy, Liam and Hope ruined it for me also.
If a new Ridge did come on, I hope they do put him w/Taylor.
Don't like all the tears that Katie is doing either. THat is one thing that turned me off when she was on Y&R. She was always crying.
I think it was money that kept Sean away not KKL. Have read where they are really cutting their budget w/hiring younger actors to fill storylines.Obviously making less money than Sean & Ronn.
