Great article by Michael Logan with Lauralee Bell and she is staying in GC. Jill & Josh wants to keep Chris in town and do a full story. MAB was writing Chris off canvas probably with Danny....but wait she's staying and this could be juicy soapy material because of Nina. Chris isn't going to back away from Phyllis and I love it! Phyllis needs a good rival again like she had with Dru! I like this more adult Christine with some bite

Tricia Cast (Nina) expressed mild dissatisfaction to Soap Opera Uncensored’sNelson Branco recently with the staccato storyline involving her legacy character under former EP/HW Maria Arena Bell. While it works for her commute — from Nashville — she, as an actress, would love to work with more. “I was happier when there was a definite storyline playing out like when Ronan came on the show. It’s harder to come in for two months and remind people about the character, the story and relationships. It’s always more fun to apply yourself. You never see the end of an arc, but when there is an arc, you know there is an end — even if you don’t know what it is. Maria’s kind of storytelling is really great for a commuting schedule but, as a performer, I prefer to work more consistently.” She described Paul and Nina as the most normal, even boring (good), couple on the canvas, which she’s content with. But if she could, she’d gladly portray Nina’s dark side again.
I think more story is coming for Nina because of the Paul/Chris/Nina
I hope this is true because I'd love to see more Paul, Chris and Nina. Anytime Tricia is on the screen she chews it up, and she proved it recently when she slapped the hell out of Phyllis.
There is a lot of story there with these characters.
Over the years, I developed a huge dislike for self-righteous, preachy Little Miss Perfect Cricket Blair. But I must admit I liked her a lot more this last time around.

SoapArmageddon I know when she came on I couldn't stand her for years because of her girl scout attitude. But this time around I'm enjoying the hell out Christine getting in Phyllis's face! With Nina and her being BBFs and Paul it's classic soap and I'm would love the whole messy triangle. It would be good TV and especially if they make Nina slightly bitchy again with Phyllis and Cricket!
Just think how Phyllis would love to throw it you Cricket's face

It bothers me that some people have already decided to not give the new regime a chance. This show was gutted by M.A. Bell. It is already 50% better at least.

I remember when Paul and Cricket were together and had that story with Rainbow Gardens and that senior couple. I hope Paul and Cricket get another shot!
Soap...you are absolutely right. I'm not saying it's perfect but DAMN it has improved SOOOO much in a short time and can only get better IF it stays on track. JFP I must say I was nervous because what she did at my GL but I feel she has come to prove a point to everyone. I'm seeing she can still do smart, intelligent soap telling again. I even called CBS's hotline to say thank you, I bitch enough calling about MAB it only fair to call to let the network I appreciate what they are doing to put Y&R back on track. Honestly I believe that's CBS's directive and notice no mob in GC. In this short time it is heavy leaning in character driven stories. Some isn't going to give Y&R a chance regardless I recognize that as fact. Some who has said it's boring doesn't get true character driven stories. Character driven stories plays beats to build up and build up to explosive endings...and that' how I like it!
Ryan-Scott...yes that was a good story for both of them...I loved it when they did the location shoot on the beach...I love romance

Yes I am refering to Phyllis.... she is everywhere... the hospital, the Athletic Club, Newman Enterprises offices, Crimson Lights... she was everywhere.
I do like her again. I just wish she was there to knock that dumbstruck look off of Nickclueless's face...
The past few weeks, I just sit and watch and say out loud "oh no, they just didn't go there! " - like Victor strolling in and out of his former office without anyone asking him what he is doing there.

TraceyAbbot101...I know I couldn't believe my ears when Jack mentioned Mamie! That was a nice touch. Phyllis was everywhere and do love MS and PB chemistry. I don't mind if Glo-Worm closes if we get back The Colonnade Room which maybe we will down the road.

) Summer will end up Jack's daughter. Remember when him & Phyllis lost their baby, it was heartbreaking and I cried like little gurl...LOL!
Count me in on those who believe/want Summer to be Jack's. If that's the case, Nick knew remember? Could be some great drama!
