This is damn good ariticle on Deep Soap and new regime with this week's episodes were JFP & JG. She is dead on about the look and direction.

Did anyone see the new ratings? Both Y&R & B&B had excellent jump a full tenths. Both soaps are in the plus from last year at or close 500K+! This is music to my ears. 
This could explain TT's surge because lead-in from B&B?

I think I saw her name for the first time on Monday, correct? And the sky didn't fall for me on day one.
I keep watching nervously because I don't want the look and feel of the show to change too much...
When I saw it was the first time but wondering if Jill could had been tweaking some things herself on the direction and finally her shows has started showing up. I see the difference especially the music, using the old familiar Y&R music in the background again and some newer music. The biggest thing I've noticed is the flow is so much better.
Y&R has had the best music underscoring their scenes FOREVER. I hate that this new bitch wants to change that up. Those cues have been around forever and they work. Leave the music alone.
Yeah, I love the music as well. Some of it is still there, but I hope they don't get rid of ALL of it. I'd have to send a few jets to fly above CBS with a few choice words for Ms. JFP.
ANyway, I'm enjoying Y&R and the new music isn't so bad so far. And I'm still hearing a little of the classic stuff...
