According to another source, two AA male characters start in November

According to a post to my Faceplace, oops I meant Facebook page, CBS announced that two new African American males will soon arrive in Genoa City in November, and to look for them at the Athletic Club.
Who are these characters and why are they expanding the cast when there are still more that need to go?
The first character is Tyler Douglas, who was already announced and is now officially played by Redaric Williams. In the audition Tyler was supposed to be the nephew of Sarge and took a new job at Jabot Cosmetics.
The other new character is a guy named Mason, played by Lamon Archey.
Both are African-American characters and are suppose to help bring more diversity to the show.
I would love it if one was tied to Dru and Olivia somehow which would give another reason to BRING THEM BACK to GC.

I think that they both might be interns or Junior Executives under Neil at Jabot. Which is cool because that is how Ryan McNeil and Neil Winters cane to town.
