Abe and Kayla = Kabe?
Well it looks like Days is already laying the groundwork for Abe and Kayla (Kabe) to get together. If that is the plan then I think it is not a bad idea. I can see the makings of chemistry there between the two. I mean she might as well get with him since Patch is off hamming it up with Genevieve in Genoa City (blah!). I think the idea of putting the two together would draw Abe closer to the Brady family. He is already practically a member. So this would work. I would though like for them to cast Amelia Marshall as a third wheel. You know bring her on as Caprice and have her working for Stefano who has blackmailed or hired her into breaking up Abe and Kayla.
On the other side of the coin i'd go right ahead and age Theo. Have him be recast with Lawrence Saint Victor. Now that would be good.
Well, "Kabe" is better than "Ayla" lol.
I think they would be a great pair. Abe needs someone in his life after Lexie is gone, and I do think Kayla would be the best of choices. And I'm hoping they get a real storyline out of it too. Mary Beth Evans is such a talent, and shouldn't be wasted on waiting tables at the Brady Pub. (Speaking of which, where the heck is Caroline?? Retire her already or put her back behind the counter, just don't keep us hangin! lol)
Kabe sounds good to me.I enjoyed Fri's episode.Kabe was interesting and I love Maggie and Victor.While Will is still my main story,I enjoy watching the other characters I love,Probably the only storylines I am really tired of(not dissing the actors,just the stories)Rafe/Carrie/Austin and Melanie/Chad/Gabi.
If the writers find their footing and tell more stories focusing on family,finding romance,and friendship,Days could only get better.The sparks are there,now just light the fires.
It's hard for me to invest time and interest in the show, knowing that everything we're seeing right now will probably be discarded in a month or so when the new/old writers and Lorraine Broderick come in.
Hopefully they will keep what is working and discard what is not working. And I do believe Days could be more like the soaps were in the 80's. GL, AMC and OLTL were still able to tell engaging storylines without all the hi-jinks. Tell real to life tales that have drama and suspense. Then they will have a good show. Because this is it. If Lorraine along with the old crew can't set this ship sailing the right direction then it is curtains. Curtains.
Come on his wife just died and already you want Abe and Kayla? I can't stand holier than though Abe. That would be such a boring couple. I am 4 months behind but has Kayla finally been getting some air time? The only thing she does back in February is give advice once every month while working at the Brady Pub. Where is Steve suppose to be on the show anyway? I vote no way to Kayla/Abe. Who else is single? Bring back Quinn for Kayla. lol
Trying to think. How about a cougar storyline with Kayla wanting Chad?
Melanie is leaving anyway. Give us something juicy. Kayla/Abe equals fast forward.
