I thought Jason's latest brain injury should have spurred a story line where he regained all of his memories. Jason Q should have been repulsed with the actions of Jason Morgan which would eventually spur the man to ride out of town and not look back. This could have been Burton's exit story.
liason4real/ahanshew-I mentioned in another post and to a few friends that I wished that Jason would have gotten some, if not all, of his Q memories back. There were more than enough chances with hits to the head (the last car accident), and surgeries to propel his story specifically in this direction. Not only would it have been an intriguing tale but it could have been written to "pave the way" for SBu's exit. Especially since, by all reports, this is something that has been gnawing at him for a while. It would also have involved not just his love interests, but the Q's, Robin, (if it had been done before she "died"), the mob end of things, and the fall out could very well have washed over the whole canvas. Now, I fear there are going to be loose ends and holes a plenty as a result of sloppy writing to push him out the door. I'd like to see them leave the door open for a possible return. As long as the character has been around, there's still so much story left to tell. And ahanshew, D was really sweet and understanding when L told him about the abortion and the events leading up to it (Dillon, Georgie etc.). Paraphrasing he was of the opinion she did what she felt she needed to do for where she was at that time in her life. No judgement, which was quite refreshing...
Yes, they did talk about it. I recall that she was worried about telling him, esp. after he said something like "my mom didn't take the easy way out", and I thought for a time Carly was going to tell him (when she was in her revenge mode against the 2 of them), but I do know that he & Lulu talked about it.
Now what he DOESN'T know is that Lulu killed Logan in self-defense & let Johnny take the fall for awhile & then subsequently went coo-coo for coco puffs!
Swan,,There were rumors/spumors that Jason was suppose to move back to the Q's, but SBu nixed RC's idea. IMO Jason Morgan became stale about three years ago with all of the constant adventure/saving story lines. Instead of Kate/Connie DID story, What IF, Jason Q met Jason M and had to deal with the last seventeen years?
RC writes cops as saving the day, and that means Jason's role would go over to McBain/Anna/Dante, etc. Jason dealing with all of his memories and eventually be an integrated version of JQ and JM with a whole new persona. Any way, there would have been much more story for Jason, but it will not happen while SBu moves on.

I remembering not only was it refreshing to see the respect and the non-judgemental attitude, I liked how they both maintained the intensity level throughout from an acting perspective. And FYI-The Logan/self defense incident came up during DZ and JT's event at FCW this past July...

Makes me wonder if it was a professional courtesy or is that detail about "story approval" something that was stipulated in his contract as a result of him being there so long.
As for RC writing for cops to save the day, I'm hoping Anna gets back to PC pretty fast to get in on some of the action, as well as D having a bit of the credit. He had a nice litle chunk going and then it's all McBain.(Sorry if I'm sounding a little resentful.) Mr Carlivati. Mr. Valentini. Please. I like McBain, I like ME, but it's all about balance. You'll have a lot more success with us, the viewers, if you make the effort to spread the screen time and spread the wealth story wise. But, hey, what do I know?...
I follow FH on twitter and she was in Europe for what almost seemed a month! That is why you haven't seen her on screen very much. It should balance back out very shortly.

I may be in the minority here, but count me as not thrilled if VMG comes back. She's a lovely woman but I've never understood her appeal. Granted the material from the last time around was ridiculous, but the hype that preceeded her return and her subsequent work yielded very few rewards. But that's me...

It's all about the right storyline. Her last return was terrible. It took a little bit from the Brenda hype that was there before. But this lovely lady has a huge fan base out there. If the story is right Vanessa Marcil can rock a storyline.
She has proven that. I hope if she returns this time RC thought very well about how to bring Brenda back. And I hope that this time she doesn't have only one storyline in a year long contract. If she returns I hope GH can plan long term with her & she is really in it like she said to the mags. If she is then this is very good news for GH. SwanQueen - I totally agree with you. VM is an adequate actress but the bad writing and her bad acting this last time around were enough for me. Just being pretty isn't enough! No matter how bad the writing is for the character, the actress still has to do her best job and make the right choices to sell it, which she did not do! She was a major flop and I have zero interest in watching her again.
