I'm not interesting in an extended Joe Scully storyline. I haven't heard a soul who likes that story. Don't know why they have to keep him around. There are other characters they can focus on.
I really hope that Genie Francis is coming back to "GH". It would be exciting how Ron would write her. And right, there are so many unresolved things between Laura & Luke. This is just something the show can't pass on.
If the tiic at Y&R want her out, sure they can do that. But why would they release her from her contract, in order to go back to GH?
It may not be that cut and dry. Frank Valentini has stated he isn't interested in bringing Genie back to GH, saying that "their cast is solid at the moment". Of course, that was before the announcement of JFP coming to Y&R. GH's 50th anniversary is coming up and I am hoping they will get Genie back for at least that.
At Y&R's end, Sony is the one who ultimately decides who stays and who goes. I'm not really sure how Sony feels about GF. I know MAB loved her and lobbied to get her in, and on the other hand, JFP hates her and vice-versa.
Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see GF on GH. I've only recently started watching GH, within the last year or two, so I'd love to see the legendary Laura on the show, especially with the way things have been going as of late.

I will never understand why Guza did not capitalize on Sonny/Brenda/Jax triangle with Carly's head spinning like Linda Blair. Alec still could have been Brenda/Jax's son without pulling the Balkan or Dante into the story.

Jake is dead, Liz have 2 other kids also. Jiz is one of the most weird looking couples in daytime soaps. They have nothing. Mcsam is the hotest thing and just like LuSam,McSam will make Jiz look like they already do, weird. Jiz failed before and they will again, simply because Liz can't do couples. Actually she should have been gone and they should have kept Shovon and Lucky. Actually Liz and Jason need to go whereever their fangurl is, and take the bais and chaeting with them. GH will be a better soap to watch.
Miry,,,RC has managed to give the men and women on GH pairing options without ignoring the other fan bases. For example, Carly/Jax/Johnny/Todd, Liz/Jason/Ewen, Sam/Jason/John, Lulu/Dante/Johnny, Starr/Michael/Trey, Tracy/Joe Jr/Luke, Luke/Anna/Tracy, and has finally matured Sonny/Carly to the point where they have moved on from their habitual ONS!
As Jamey stated on the DC pod casts, it made absolutely no sense in the world to make Liz and Sam's friends after the Jakenapping stuff, because soaps are made of rivals and frenemies. Instead of capitalizing on Liason vs JaSam from 2008 onward, GH just shut it all down with a big ass whimper.
One of my favorite all time rivals/frenemies is Dorian and Viki on OLTL.
Liason - I could not have said it better. I have really enjoyed how RC has really catered to all of the fan bases. Instead of once a year, the Liason fans are enjoying weekly encounters! I'm just biding my time until Jason and Liz hit the sack again. LOL
When RC wrote for OLTL, we always saw John sharing scenes with one of his exes (Blair, Marty, Kelly, Natalie, Vangie, Mo, Curly, Larry,,,)etc, and the same for Clint with Viki, Dorian, Echo and Nora. Bo shared scenes with Nora, and whatever ex happened to be on the show at the time (Lyndsay, Alex, etc). There is no reason why exes can't share scenes even IF the pairing is no longer romantic.

I mean, that is why we freakin' watch soaps!! To see the characters interact with each other, ESPECIALLY the ones that already have a history!

Patrick is sitting around waiting on Robin to come back permanently into his life, when the man should have had at least one or two exes (not crazy ass Lisa) that he's sharing benefits with and then wham! along comes Robin and he's caught between his future and his past. Now that is soapy!
Spinelli has had one love interest in six years! WTH? Liz has not had sex since RH was pregnant two years ago! Alexis has not had sex since she was paired with Jerry back in 2008. Jeez. Guza really dropped the ball.

Thanks ahanshew. Lots of "goodies" to sift through. And a very realistic item for D&L should they bring it to pass. Something that touches/has touched many lives in the real world. Should they go with it, my hope is that they will approach the situation with balance and sensitivity as they did with L's abortion story previously. That had me bawling buckets. (Grain of salt as per usual.) Alexis killing Jerry? Sounds pretty Cassadine if they have her go through with it. I'm a little bothered by a new cop coming. It's been such a relief not to hear the name Franco for awhile. Is this to help usher SBu off the canvas? Sounds a bit lame but that's me. Enjoy what's left of your holiday, all...

Sending Jason to jail honestly makes the most sense. I would rather him regain his Q memories and ride off on his bike in to the sunset, but I am fairly certain I won't get that wish. I DO NOT want him killed off.
