While I am glad that Crystal will be on B&B, I am however very unhappy with david46208's reference to Chappell having "munched carpet" as a nasty put down and a slap in the face. Your comment was out of line and I find it disgraceful and disgusting to say the least. You owe those of us who are LGBT a big apology for using that derogatory term when describing a lesbian. It is unwarranted and unnecessary.

I am so happy to see that Crystal is joining The Bold and the Beautiful. I am glad they are willing to tell this story and that a variety of people are beginning to be represented in soaps. As far as "rug munching" goes, the last time I checked, Bold And The Beautiful is not a porno and that is where I feel that term belongs. I have much respect for Brad Bell, Crystal Chappell, and Joanna Johnson willing to tell this story. I dont think it should be minimalized by "rug munching" which is only being used to make fun of women.

I nearly did a back flip when I found out. I miss Crystal in daytime so much. Such a wonderful actress. B&B is luck to have her and vice versa. Between Crystal Chappell and Hillary B. Smith, B&B just picked up a new viewer.

I'm very excited to see Crystal Chappell back on my television everyday and doubly excited she's back on CBS! I'm very thankful to Brad Bell for telling this story and giving us a glimpse of all different types of families. Its been a while since i've watched Bold and the Beautiful but anywhere that CC goes i'm definitely going to follow. She's so talented and gives the audience such a genuine and dynamic performance its hard to separate her from the character she's portraying. I for one cannot wait to see her and Joanna in scenes together as well as some of the other wonderful actors on this show. The carpet munching comment was ignorant and insensitive. Its simply degrading and any self respecting woman, lesbian or otherwise should be as offended as I was.

I've watched Crystal play a variety of characters and I'm looking forward to this one, too. I think it's great that B&B is doing a story like this. I've never watched B&B since I always watched AMC and then DOOL when that went off the air. But now I will definitely be watching B&B. From all I've read, Bill Bell really cares about the genre and I'm guessing he will respect these characters and the LGBT community and tell us a good story in the process.

Like true fans of daytime, I cannot wait to see Crystal on B&B, her presence in daytime has been sorely missed the past year. I'm so completely excited Crystal Chappell is joining the Bold and the Beautiful that I've already started watching the show. Yep, another new viewer reeled in by her amazing talent and the producers' wisdom in bringing her aboard.

I'm especially glad the show is making its first foray into depicting love between women. Name-calling has no place in the modern world and simply reveals the prejudices and ignorance of the name-caller. I'm truly looking forward to a good, true story and great acting.
