Todays cast of characters: Marlena, WIll, Sami, Kate, Rafe, Carrie, Austin, Abbigail, Sonny, Chad , Gabi, Maggie, Victor, Brady, Madison

I want to say up front, I got very frustrated with todays episode. "I" really am impatiently waiting for Will to open up to Marlena and give him the guidence that he so desperately needs. He is a pressure cooker ready to explode. I am also impatient with what is going on with Madison. I would like some movement in this area to begin. I am hoping once Ian Buchanan joins the show, that some of Madison's story can take off. I am tired of the stalled story. Whatever is going on with Countess W and Madworld doesn't make any sense and Sami seems to be helping Kate more than hurting her. So let's get a move on here.

Some of the first scenes today were wrap ups of yesterdays scenes. Austin and Carrie confirm their date (bet Carrie cancels!), Rafe forgot his cell phone when he stormed out. Sami doesn't want to leave things like that. She wants Rafe to understand. "Well I don't," he says as he walks out.

Today is the big day for the photo shoot at Countess W. There are montages of pix taken of the, I must admit, the smokin' hot couple. They do photograph well together and the camera does pick up a chemistry that is palapable. Sami was not expecting this and reported it to Madison. Kate kept interupting Sami so she was not able to even delete the photos which was her first instinct!

But Madison has other problems. She, after advise from mysterious person on the phone, turns down Victor's offer to be CEO of Kiriakis. They are at the K mansion with Brady and Maggie when she demurely turns it down. Victor the ever vigilant bulldog smells a rat. Why would she turn it down? She does not give an answer but says she did not take the offer lightly and is honored that Vic asked her. Brady is confused because he was sure she would accept. Later he asks her what is going on really. She delays the questions by talking about how much she loves him. To buffer the poor thing, Maggie comes to Madison's aid by saying she is always welcome at the house even though she didn't accept the job. Victor huffs out saying he needed to go find a CEO for his company now (HEY LUCAS!). Later Maggie softens Victor up by saying she thinks that Madison's priorities have changed since she has met Brady. She thinks that Madison is thinking more with her heart than her ambition now days. (SIDENOTE! I am LOVING Victor and Maggie! They remind me of Jock Ewing and Miss Ellie on Dallas. Both are strong independent people who don't always agree. Maggie has taken to being the lady of the house and to being the peace keeper in the kiriakis household. She softens Victor's bluster and keeps him on track when his anger gets the best of him. I am so glad that the writers have given Maggie something to do. They haven't used her in the last few months as effectively. She is one of the best things that the last writing regime did by boosting her presence on the show. And add to it she does. I might have to start calling her Miss Maggie for her gentile country gradeur!)

Rafe and Carrie continue to heat up the screen with their eyes. These two are on the verge of making out every minute. They are soooo suited to eachother and so easy together, it seems a shame that they will have to jump through hoops to be together. The one issue that I will feel bad about is that Rafe is such a good influence on Sami's kids. I guess he still could be as their uncle instead of step father. Maybe Lucas could step up to the plate. Today they cracked that case of the teen that was in trouble for burning down the building. Come to find out, it was one of the first responders who had a history of this in another city. They celebrated with a huge hug and meaningful stare in eachother's eyes. Rafe broke it up before they were lip locking.

At the Brady Fish Market ( time warp sorry,) Uh Pub, Marlena and Will sit down to eat something and talk. Will wants not to talk about his decision to work for EJ or his mother. Marlena accepts his terms. However she continues to use her hypnotic voice to subtley break through Will's wall. Although part of him is listening and wants to talk, part of him shuts down. The same thing happens when Sonny comes in to talk to him about the coffee loungue. He claims not to have time for Sonny or his friends right now or the forseeable future. Sonny tries to also be of assistance to the boiling over boy but he won't let him either. Sonny leaves it ok call me when you are free. " I am not gonna push you on the coffee shop or anything else Will."
When Marlena confronts him about shutting down his friend, he decides he has to leave. He rushes past Gabi and Chad. They ask Marlena if Will is ok. She says he will be. I will see to it.
At the Horton square, Will pulls a map out of his pocket and stares at it. He looks so supremely glum and alone as he folds it back and puts it in his pocket. I am sure the map is something for EJ. HURRY Marlena!
