Below is a link to an article that clues internet users in on some of the ramifications of SOPA, which I believe would allow the individual too much power to decide what on-line piracy is and is not. SOPA would affect fans of soap operas who use internet media formats such as Face Book, YouTube, Twitter, and message boards--especially if you use copyrighted avatars and pics, or if you write fan fiction.

I didn't read very far in this article b/c the foul and filthy language that is attached to this article is absolutely uncalled for. The way in which this article was written and worded makes me have less of an incentive to contact my representatives.

Thank you for your honesty. I was surprised by the language, too. But I thought it was interesting and informative. I'd heard about the SOPA bill, but I learned about the seemingly small ramifications of it, and how it effects me by reading this article.

But again,. I respect your honesty.
