Thanks Supramom. Enjoy your "Friday on Sunday". If Helena's the Puppetmaster here, I'm guessing Heather may have learned how to switch DNA results from her. Not sure what motives Helena would have against Sam as she's a Cassadine, unless it's another way for her to get back at Alexis for having her mother be one to have an affair with Mikos. I'm holding out hope that they'll bring LA back as Kristina. As for Morgan, I'd love it if he comes back loaded for bear in full millitary mode, being eveything that his father is not. Olivia? Sigh. I truly like LLo as an actress but the character has been written into a hypocritcal "prison" whose shelf life is past the expiration date. I think your guess could very well happen. If the younger Zacchara is written out (I remain skeptical about that. BrBa is a truly gifted gentleman and I'm actually fond of the character.), as I've said before I'm ducking and running for cover. There will be many unhappy people. Jeepers, why can't "Connie" shoot the bully and he goes into a come and...oh, wait I wished for that a while back...
Eh, I'm still wishing. Hugs to you darlin'...
If TPTB makes the stupid mistake to get rid of Johnny but keeps Sonny or Dante on screen, I am done for good with GH. I am so sick of the Corinthos/Falconeri family that have slowly but surely killed my 30 years love for this soap. At least after that I won't have to worry about when they will finally cancel GH, I won't care anymore and I hope that BB will be able to score a role on one of the other soaps before the great migration from the GH actors/actresses once GH is over. And if they start with firing beloved actors like BB, the show will go down eventually.
Thanks Swan - I always appreciate your candor!! You always put it in very discreet terms. My daughter woke me up at 3 AM with stomach pains (not the nauseous kind, but pains. We didn't get back to sleep until after 6, so I called in sick today. Felt bad about it, but I think she and I will both take naps today.
Things seem to be exploding at GH. I am going to try to get it all put down here in a semi-coherent fashion. And only ones from the true insiders that have been proven. Here goes:
**As I shared before, look for Couric to "position" herself pubicly as "embracing" soap fans.
However, behind the scenes this "test run" is part of a larger power struggle. There has been much disquiet over her contract extending her reach at ABC far beyond the afternoon "talkfest." Couric's team wants behind the scenes credit for leading the charge for ABC News to finally gain a shot at an afternoon slot. Without a cable news channel, this is the shot for ABC News to expand and is more of an important "test run" than ABC PR currently spinning.
I was told expect GAA to feature more heavy hitters than originally leaked and to receive a chunk of cross-promotional support on GMA, the View and ABC News, too.
I will hope this source is wrong and GAA is just the short-term bridge ABC PR currently spinning.
**Do not be misled.
Heather's anger with Sam started long before the recent Ferncliff scenes.
Refusing to take the letter to Steven Lars, is merely an excuse for Heather's interest and grudge.
Always ask yourself who sent the DVD and why.
Never forget my warning of their scenes/relationships,
"come hither said the spider to the fly."
**I originally dropped ME was only here for 3 months because I read June plans for his return to Llanview.
It appears now Llanview is coming to him.
**ABC News been waiting a long time for this shot at an afternoon slot. After the shock of the Revolution's abysmal numbers, a "test run" was the prudent decision.
As I still have no faith in ABC's commitment to scripted programming, I worry GH is being set up to fail with a new time slot and pennies for promotion.
I also worry GAA suits the long-term deal to give the slot back to the affiliates. As with the NBC deal, affiliates could opt out.
As I shared previously, KMc's "commitment" changed the plans. Robin's return was no longer tied to the finale.
**Based on my current information, I do not have Carly actually having a baby. There is a setup for another WTD. However, it should be a scare.
Somewhat more. I heard the plans for Patrick changed when FV secured KMc's commitment.
**. Now ask yourself why Heather set Sam up to take another test. Why the test must read Franco.
**Are the clues really that obtuse?
Why did Heather "pop" up right at the moment Sam held the paternity test paperwork in her hand?
Why is Heather taunting Sam so smugly?
Why did Heather actually say she wants the baby to be Franco's?
**There will be no need for a 3rd paternity test.
How much plainer can I get?
**As I have pointed out several times, RC did not share the prior regimes view of the needy, addicted Spencers. One of his first acts was to gut Lulu's drinking story. I agree it is a shame he did not immediately replace it with a more positive tone and direction, as he did with Luke.
However, there has been quite a bit of setup for Lulu's new direction. I have dropped since January to expect Lulu to take a turn at crime-fighting. It is in the Spencer genes, though the prior regimes have ignored for too long Luke and Laura solved crimes and saved the world.
Helping to solve the stripper case only inspires Lulu onto more mysteries. Those are coming up.
Lulu will also be evaluating her life with Dante and fears of parenthood.
**Expect the reveal this spring. I do not get breakdowns or scripts so I did not know the exact date.
And I warned RC was a big fan of Lucky's death. The similarities were on purpose including the reveal of her being held captive!(Regarding Robin).
**His professional crisis is still coming up. The drinking appears scrapped.
I only know the Patrick story was stalled and changed up by KMc's commitment. That was secured after the fact.
**No comment on Todd, Tea and "Victor."
There is a really shocking twist for this story being kept under wraps.
**I thorougly enjoyed the nod to the famous LSD scene.
What lengths will she go to protect a "son?"
Heather has scrappy Olivia outgunned and outmatched.
However, perhaps Heather should reconsider targeting Anna? Is a veteran spy her match?
**Remember those 6 rewrites I chronicled during the Tale of Two Todds? The 7th rewrite is the biggest clusterfuck yet.
**Luke's relationship to Anna keys into Robert's story.
RC is using Anna, and Lulu's coming story to a smaller extent, to inspire the return of the Luke who took down Frank Smith and helped save the world from the Cassadines.
RC's Luke is more in line with Claire Labine's vision.
**I will confirm these,
Franco was manipulated into believing he was Jason's twin brother. Franco came to believe Jason was the missing half of his soul and why he felt incomplete all his life.
Franco sought out Jason hoping to emotionally bond with another human being. Something he lacked all his life.
Jason's rejection of Franco spurned his need for revenge. Sam was the instrument of revenge.
Someone knows exactly what Franco planned to do and not do to Sam.
Someone been pulling Franco's strings since the beginning.
"Crazy breeds crazy?" You need to decide to separate the lies from the truths Heather tells.
Did you not once ask yourself why John McBain, after the twin Todds experience, did not once suggest testing Jason and Franco to prove Heather's claim?
Oh what a tangled web RC weaves when he wants to stall a reveal (literary license botched!)
**Do you recall the long Franco monologue recorded? To his credit, Guza laid the groundwork well. How desperately Franco sought Jason's approval and attention. How spurned he reacted to Jason's rejection to the idea they were mirrors of each other.
In a twisted way, Franco was a tragic figure.
Tracy was to know Heather is lying about Jason/Franco.
Who pulled Heather's strings in the past?
**Does anyone recall me talking about the change of perspective for the adventure set as they all mingle and reconnect?
That definitely applies to Felicia.
Look for Maxie to still be holding a fierce grudge, but that tough exterior is set to truly melt. It's sweet and sour for the mother-daughter duo.
However the Guza-Felicia is not being totally erased. Those who have been hoping that RC will just ignore the downfall of Felicia Jones and rewind back to her better years may be disappointed.
**There are very specific reasons why I have always called this the Webber-Quartermaine story. Note the link.
It is a lot bigger than Heather. It is truly an umbrella story with an incredible amount of the canvas involved.
I have mentioned a lot of the players, and even the returnees. Those you see in the story now are definitely not all who will be. This is a spring story due to stretch well into the summer.
As I said before, mine your clues from GH circa 81-83.
**Lets just say that the early storyline ideas, and the pitch to Emma and Tristan, is very different than what ended up unfolding.
It's tough to know exactly what happened in that situation.
On my part I was always told that Ethan would be Robert's. I never imagined that would be the appearance of the truth, but that the physical paternity not change. But again, I am still being told that there is a twist in that story.
Robert was suppose to be more involved with Robin.
**Her romantic life is up in the air, again thanks to the uncertain future of all her perspective lovers (which might be complicated yet again with another new arrival). (Liz).
**I don't know what happened but I do know TR gave an interview where he spelled out he didn't hear any story details. He asked them not to tell him ahead of time. He came in trusting this new TPTB and got burned.
Yes, exactly. Neither were told the full story, but I hear that the pitch was very different in tone and intention than what was written and aired.
There was also at least one Ethan/Robert scene that never even made it to air.
**Can you elaborate a little more on that? Does that mean new couples are coming?
Yes that does.
**Was it that Felicia wouldn't return, or couldn't?
And what (or who) is she hiding?
**TPTB have seen the Micheal/Starr chemistry but are thinking of taking Michael in a different direction. This will cause a rift between Michael/Sonny but bridge the gap between Michael and the Q's. Look for a new young male to help Michael through this transition in his life.
**Just heard that there is a "shocking" shift in direction coming up for GH. I will let you know if/when I get more details!
**There are definite plans for a Frisco arrival for those who've been asking me about that. I didn't have info before, I do now.
Meanwhile I just learned that a Robert return is being discussed for this summer.
The shocking shift is still up in the air. I don't know much more at this time.
**Again, details on the "shift" are extremely limited as I stated before. It's a total directional shift in the tone, scope, and execution of GH. I am not referring to one specific actor, couple, or character.
I do not know much more, and I can only hope the source who mentioned it fills me in.

**Good evening all!
I just got word that part of the "shift" involves a pretty explosive casting decision that's sure to bring a lot of division. This involves a returning actor.
More as I get it.
**I am being told that there is going to be an upcoming bombardment of GH casting announcements as they set up for the summer/fall stories.
Part of this shift is about coming out as bold, and strongly, as possible in time for the anticipated shift in timeslot.
Everything is changing...
**Any chance that Tamara Braun comes to take back the role of Carly?
I will say this.
You shouldn't be surprised by anyone returning at this point. FV is pursuing folks pretty aggressively. They are throwing everything at the wall now and hoping as much sticks as possible.
**I am hearing that the rebuilding Sonny's world is a top priority. Some of the casting shifts will reflect that.
**An old school supercouple is due for a soapy reunion.
Sorry this is so hodge podge! Goodies mixed in with other stuff.
Goodness, gracious, darlin'! So much to digest. RC and FV seem to be willing to dare the suits at ABC/D to just try and cancel GH. As I like to say "Go bold or go home." I'm liking the direction for L. And what a relief they junked the alcoholism story. That upset me. Not only out of character and out of the blue, but after everything she's witnessed with Luke and Lucky, seriously, why even go there? As for "rebuilding the bully's world"? Oy! Where's a detonator when you need one? Hope your daughter feels better! Till next time...
@Supra-Thanks so much for the tidbits. So much information. I can't wait to see what happens, although I hate the Sam paternity storyline. I am sorry but I don't think any possible rape victim should have to go through what she has been going through. I know if she had been tested and gone to the doctor right away, there would not be any speculation. With this current storyline, it cheapens Sam and makes it seem like she is dirty, and at fault for everything, when she really is the victim and really did nothing wrong. Not a very responsible message in my opinion.
@Swan-I agree, I am glad that Lulu was not to written as a drunk.
@Supra- Have you heard anything about Kristin coming back as Maxie? This Jen was okay at first, but know she has got to go. And with the soras'd Kristina, I guess that closes the door for Lexi to come back? I honestly would not be suprised if they recasted Carly. I know LW has really stuck in the role, but she is limited in her pairings. The Johnny/Carly is not working, and if they do decide to kill of Johnny, what is she really left with? With TB free as well as maybe SB, I see other options. Not saying it will happen, but I do see the possibility. It seems this new regime is not as gung ho on LW as Guza was. Connie/Kate has really become the frontburner female on GH. Not saying it is deserved.
Just mixing in a bit of new spoilers. Credit goes to ABC Hotsheet, WUBS, SOS and SID.
♥♥♥♥♥♥ SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! ♥♥♥♥♥♥
*The secret of Sam's baby's paternity is finally revealed. While Heather holds the secret about his twin brother Franco over Jason's head, Sam receives her test results. What will happen when she runs into John McBain shortly after opening them? And how will Jason react when she tells him the whole truth – that Franco was really his brother?
*Elizabeth has something important to tell Jason.
*Why is Luke nervous?
*Meanwhile, Kate intends to tell Sonny everything about Connie, then commit herself to a mental hospital. But Connie isn't going to give up quite so easily. And she's got something sinister planned for Sonny on his birthday.
*There's an organ harvesting ring in operation. (What?? I usually don’t comment on the spoilers but this I just don’t know about)
*The verdict in Sonny's murder case is in! When the ruling is handed down, though, the real story is how Starr, John McBain, and Johnny Zacchara all react. With all of Sonny's warnings to Michael about Starr, could he be right? Meanwhile, look for Johnny and Carly to re-affirm their feelings for one another.
*Johnny has regrets.
*Starr decides to use Michael for her own gain.
*The investigation into who's been attacking strippers continues, with Lulu getting ever closer to the truth. With suspicion falling on Delores's husband, Lulu comes up with another theory that could be just as damaging to the police department if true.
*Lulu tells Luke she thinks Ronnie may be suspect in the stripper case!
*Heather hears Johnny threaten Steven LARS.
*All this, plus Steve gets pulled into mob business by Johnny, Heather is subject to Ewen's psychoanalysis, and Spinelli thinks he knows who killed Lisa – and we doubt you'll guess who it is.
Jasam, I have heard that whatever ails Kirsten is very serious. I heard that there is the endometriosus and possibly drug abuse or anorexia as well. I don't think she is coming back. I think they will end the Lisa Niles murder mystery with Maxie and Matt leaving town. Or Maxie will leave with Felicia and possibly Frisco.
Someone who swore me to secrecy mentioned there is far more to Lexi Ainsworth leaving than TPTB wanting an older, sexier actress. More along the lines of Kirsten Storms troubles. So I don't think we will see her back again either.
I did just read that the go ahead has been given for Nicholas to return. No one knew if Tyler Christopher had been contacted yet or not.
I wish I could find someone to tell me what really happened with Tristan Rogers. That seems to have been a royal Charlie Foxtrot.
Jasam-Thanks for your "goodies" too. An organ harvesting ring? My, sounds like RC may have watched a recent episode of "Grimm" where the main core of the story was exactly that. Or he may have read Robin Cook's thriller
"Coma" that later was made into a film starring Genevieve Bujold. That gave me nightmares. You make a lot of good points about Sam and the paternity merry-go-round. Although it's anything but merry. Hugs to you, darlin'...
OT-Sebastian Roache(Jerry Jacks) wil be guesting on this coming Friday's episode of "Grimm" on NBC. This past Friday's offering had both Claire Coffee(ex-Nadine Crane) and Jessica Tuck (who I believe was on OLTL-sorry-I didn't watch when she was a part of the cast.)...
Please please please don't let Johnny leave the show or I am a goner too.
They have ruined my favorite female character Lulu since she is paired with Dante and I HATE that she is becoming Natalie-Buchanan-2.0
Why can't Lulu have something to do outside of her stupid husband's world?
Last time Lante worked together, a poor woman was killed (not that Dante ever showed any remorse or any second thought beyond the 5 minutes following her death...), isn't it enough?
Why can't she work at the Haunted Star or the Metrocourt? or do something of her own? Why does it have to be with Dante again? WIll Lulu be free one day (sorry Swan, but I don't recognize my fave anymore and I am mad that she will of course have to work with Dante. ENOUGH ENOUGH ENOUGH!!!!!
Verdilover-I think this is the first time I've had the pleasure of a comment from you . Who is that for your avatar? It's lovely. As for L, D and the direction they're going, all I can say is we love who we love.
And it's all good. Thanks for your response...
Supramom2000 - Thanks for all the info. My head is spinning from reading that huge list and I am very confused. But a lot of it sounds interesting so here's hoping for the best!
I've had a feeling that Kirsten had more going on than endometriosis. She had gotten sooooo thin before she left last fall. Has she been in rehab? I hope she can get herself turned around. She's a good actress.
If Nikolas comes back, it HAS to be Tyler. Wouldn't be the same otherwise for me.
You're welcome Sassy!!
I'm hoping the organ harvesting ring is a way to bring back Jake! And depending on how far they go with it, maybe Emily and whichever other dead people they can get back!!!
Lulu has some great story coming up, so you Lulu fans need not worry. She is going to be the strong, independent investigator much like her mother was back in the day. She and Dante are going to stay together, but she will be fiery and strong. Not bowing to Dumbte. I actually really like Dante and Lulu. But they ruined his character on the altar of Brenda, just as they did Spinelli and most others. I think they will redeem him as well.
There is an upcoming hostage situation at the Metro Court and I read that Lulu and Sam look out for each other during the crisis. I also read that John will have to choose between his vendetta against Sonny and his white knight complex. He chooses the vendetta and someone gets hurt.
The cops in PC are going to become strong, bold and a force of good. The mob with a heart of gold is going to cease to be as we know it. I haven't quite figured out if that means no more mob at all, or what. I think that Jason will get out, but I get the impression that Sonny is going to return to his even sleazier side circa the strip clubs, etc.
I'm not thrilled with the OLTL influx, but I am very excited about all the upcoming drama, the returning of strong women, and a more all-enveloping utilization of the cast.
It should be a fun ride!
Supramom-Thanks for the "goodies"! I think (and this is just a guess), Guza basically ignored/trashed who and what Laura was. The thread that is her mother has always been present in L but Guza and Wolf, I believe, made a concious decision to downplay/keep dormant the majority of this part of her genetic heritage. As I'm always honest, I have consistently believed that D sees her as the love of his life and he is hers.(That's just me.) The Brenda debacle was a ridiculously cheap and tawdry gimmick that was so out of character from what I had come to admire in this yes, flawed, individual. It's because of L that he is a better person. She's the real strength that grounds this pairing. Instead of celebrating and building on that strength, Guza and subsequently Wolf, started her drifting into the addictive abyss (that RC put a stop to, thank goodness!) that spelled out the parallel downward spirals of Luke (presently trying to crawl out of that ditch), Lucky (for all we know still poking around St. Margaret's church yard, only surfacing for a rare phone call), and even Nikolas (who's off traipsing around Europe). Hopefully these travesties will be rectified if rumors pan out. I'm not fooling myself into thinking that the new direction for L and by extension, this couple, will be met with approval. The wounds that Guza and Wolf inflicted on both of them will take time to heal. Everyone knows how I have nothing but disdain for the fact that D is forever tied to the bully. That alone will taint him no matter what is done to rebuild him. It's something that I know and accept. In the end, the pathway RC seems to be opening up for them looks to be a way of, if notout and out honoring the past, at least paying tribute to it. I don't want L to be a carbon copy of Laura, nor do I want D to be some reconfigured version of Luke. These two need to be written as having their own identities guide them to who they will be as individuals and as a couple inside the GH canvas whether or not they end up working together. That's the best I could wish (and pray), for. I'm looking forward to the PCPD being resurected into something that looks a lot less like the "Keystone Cops". McBain going vendetta is a bit of a bummer, but for the most part he's the OLTL crossover I like the most. If they write Jason out of the mob, that could be a dramatic story. Almost a re-working of the original idea "Who will Jason be?" after the surgery from the car accident. Imagine trying to start from scratch after how many years as a mob enforcer. Lots of material there. Whew! Time for me to say good night. Hugs, darlin'...
I had to come here to tell my on-line friends!! I just got a new job!!!! So excited! Can't wait to quit my horrible job. I will be actually working for the State of Washington Parks Dept. Get to be an administrative assistant at one of our state parks. Way cool!! No more weekends or standing on my feet for 8 hours. And the view there is phenomenal! Nothing like putting life in perspective when you see that kind of nature every day.
Now, on to a few goodies - not new, but more explanatory:
What do all of the above have in common?
They are all manufactured illusions.
Never forget misdirection is RC's favorite game.
Supramom! Congratulations! All the best and much success winging your way from me in the WNY area. Enjoy your new job!...
I am no Lulu fan but I think my dear Swan, reading the comments on different boards on a lot of die hard Lulu fans that there is no way they will ever come back to loving Dante or LANTE any time soon...
They seem to just want Lulu OUT of the LANTE relationship and honestly I don't blame them. I personally find the "Lulu becomes a cop"storyline completely ridiculous and I would rather see her do something for herself OUTSIDE of Dante's world instead of having to share screen with Dumbte ever again. Laura was no cop and Luke was no cop either. It is as if TPTB is afraid of having Lulu sharing scene with any other guy (for example Johnny)... Weird isn't it?
TPTB don't get that the way to redeem LANTE is to break them up for good one ot two years and then reunite them. Right now having a John/Natalie PCPD relationship type is just stupid IMHO.
Congrats on your new job Supramom, sounds exciting
