According to EW, actress Ellen Greene has been cast to play the role of Primrose on The Young and the Restless. Beginning on January 7, the character will air in a number of episodes, and will represent a link to the past that brings unexpected joy to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Billy Miller).

Ellen has previously appeared on such Primetime series as "Suddenly Susan," "Cybill," "Pushing Daisies," "Privileged," and "Heroes."
