Okay, so this character is hated by EVERYONE in Salem. And when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE! Even mega villains Stefano and Victor have people who care for them and love them, but not Vivian. How does a character like this stay on a show? What are they gonna do with her? Will she be redeemed?

Frankly, I don't care if she leaves or not. I love the character of Vivian, she was on the show "back in the day" when I really started religiously watching the show (1993), but I couldn't care less if she leaves. I would certainly like to see what happens when she gets out of that sarcophogus!

This storyline is stupid.

Vivian's NOT being buried alive..she's being sealed inside a sarcophagus in a tomb. That is not the same thing as what she did to Carly, when Carly was actually buried under 6 feet of dirt. Lame attempt to rip off a classic JER story and totally failing.

the only way to redeem this story is if Lawrence turns up alive and rescues Vivian and together they wreak havoic on this town...since this town needs a real villian since stefano has been dumbed down...

Days can't top buried alive. I already knew that from the time they announced Vivian's return. Different time, different era, different writers, its 18 years later..etc.
That being said, after seeing Brady turn the tables on Vivian and give her a taste of her own medicine, I'm unexpectedly enjoying the mini homage to a classic outrageous storyline. Brady and Vivian are LOL and the show needs laughs.

Jesh...it's not like Vivian is the A or even B story for Days.

Now that Gus has abandoned Madam, it would be something if her first assistant came to rescue her.

I think it's pretty bad.

First of all, Vivian's not even "buried alive". She's locked in a coffin in a crypt. That is QUITE different from being buried under six feet of dirt.

Secondly, where are the claustrophic side shots of Vivian in the coffin? All we are seeing is the camera looking down on Vivian. When Carly was buried alive, she was filmed from the side so we got a better sense that she was trapped. There is no illusion of reality with this story like there was with the first. The claustrophobic element is totally eliminated by the overhead shots.

What's with the goofy Brady videos? When Marlena and Kristen were locked in the secret room, they saw all the action from a close-circuit video feed that looked "live". The Brady video effects are awful!

Also, there's no build-up. Brady and Vivian have barely interacted before now. This plot would have made better sense if Carly turned the tables on Vivian. Brady is just some random character they picked. There was no build up to this. When Carly was buried alive, there were weeks of build-up! Also, when Carly was buried alive, people were rooting for her to escape. There was an exciting build-up to her being rescued. No one would care if Vivian just suffocated in there!

Next thing you know they are going to "re-do" the possession storyline with Melane....*rolls eyes*

Will Vivian be redeemed??? I hope not. She's FAR more interesting when she's a twisted, lying, manipulative, SHREW!!!

I am enjoying this storyline immensely....Louise Sorel and Eric M. have great chemistry together, even when he's calling her a BITCH and she's calling him an idiot!!! They are the most interesting thing going on with DAYS nowadays, as far as I'm concerned.

Well, I am enjoying Victor and Maggie's "romance"...or whatever you wanna call it.....

The "teen scene" is boring as hell. Melanie, Phillip, Nathan, Stephanie and the rest of the young 20-somethings on this show do nothing but recite the same lame, contrived dialogue episode after episode. YAWN!!

And why are they trying so hard to convince us that EJ is gonna die when we all KNOW he's not gonna die.....and that he'll be back to his normal self quicker than you can say "You are mean, mean, mean, Kristen!!??"

Sami and Kate have been watered down like $2 nightclub vodka!!!!!! They used to be such interesting BAD GIRLS!!! What happened?? Yeah, they matured....but who asked them to do that??? LOL!! They were so much more interesting when they were the bad bitches of Salem!!!

And why did they cut off all of James Scott's PRETTY dark hair???? Why, why, why??? I'd rather have seen them shave Sami's head instead. Just saying!!!!

This one clip is miles above anything we've seen from this new Buried Alive story. The music, the lighting, the overall production values, Sorel's creepy performance and Chappell's chilling performance are brilliant. Watch and enjoy!

P.S. I think this user has the best quality Buried Alive clips on the web. If I'm wrong, let me know!

P.P.S. Robert Kelker-Kelly really wasn't a bad Bo. I preferred his Bo with Carly as opposed to Peter Reckell's. RKK's Bo also had better chemistry with Lisa Rinna's Billie.

Well it seems, especially after today's episode, that no one really likes Nicole. Maybe Vivian and Nicole should get together and reek havoc on the town. Maybe a merry murderesses storyline ALA Roxy and Velma from Chicago! Woo-hoo!
