Melissa Reeves is back taping episodes but we've heard nothing about Matthew Ashford returning. I bet the rumour above is true: Jack will be in Salem but not seen.

So apparently Jack is off chasing a story when Jennifer returns to town. Abby is mad at him and encourages Jennifer to date Ty Treadway's character.

*sigh*

This sounds like an awful repeat of the Colin Murphy saga...When will Days get it? We don't want Jennifer with Colin. We don't want Jennifer with Brandon. We don't want Jennifer with Patrick. We don't want Jennifer with Frankie. We want Jennifer with Jack!!

What about Jennifer with Daniel Jonas?! I never saw this one coming but Dena sure thinks she is pretty clever. Although I think Shawn Christian and Missy Reeves would have chemistry galore, I don't think the fans will tolerate it. For some reason on other shows like YR, GH and OLTL they can switch couples and the fans don't complain as much. I might give this romance a chance if it is done right.

Just suggesting Jennifer with anyone other than Jack is sacrilegious. Days has always been the "supercouple show", and Days always, ALWAYS fails when they attempt to split them up! Jack and Jennifer have a dedicated fanbase and we want to see THEM together, not with other people! Frankly it's insulting that they brought back Missy Reeves without Matthew Ashford. Why are Bo and Hope allowed to be the only supercouple on this show?
