YR - Bring Victoria Rowell back as Drucilla Winters Petition

Hell to the YES............Bring back Victoria Rowell!! Genoa City needs a STRONG black female presence on the canvas, since they only bring out Olivia once every three or four months. (WHY??WHY??WHY??) And by STRONG female presence, I don't mean her whiny, simpering, milquetoast daughter (yeah, she has cancer, but DAMN!!!! Can I get at least ONE episode without someone coddling her or pretending like she's a FIVE year old????)

I heard the rumors that Victoria has backstage feuds with Michelle Stafford and Christel Khalil. I have a simple resolution to those problems.....if Christel can't play nice, FIRE her. RECAST. You've done it before. I LIKE Christel in the role (even though I can't STAND the character of Lily anymore!!) but if I had to choose between her and Vicky, guess who ends up in the unemployment line???

As far as Michelle Stafford goes, I LOOOOVEE her, but I love my Victoria Rowell more. If these two actresses can't CO-EXIST, which I think will be virtually impossible since Michelle allegedly SPAT in her face during a rehearsal and Victoria claims she will never forgive her for it, I say find another female character for Drucilla to be at odds with, and make sure that she doesn't have to share any screen-time with Michelle Stafford.

Honestly, Victoria is my FAVORITE soap actress in daytime history, so I would be willing to say goodbye to ANY of the current "superstars" on Y&R's canvas to accomodate her return.......Eric, Michelle, Peter, Melody.....ANY of them......Just find a way to get Victoria back in Genoa City!!!

Does Victoria Rowell even want to come back?

Victoria Rowell has stated that she is open to coming back.  It's all up to the brass at Y&R (Sony and MAB) to bring her back.

I would LOVE to see Dru back, But  If V R  she is that much of a dive, then NO!

I've read quite a few things that lead me to believe that VR is quite an inflammatory person, and most of that is the words coming right out of her own mouth.  When longstanding staffmembers threaten to quit if a star returns, that should be a warning to us all.  We need to keep out of this one, and leave it up to the powers that be.  No petitions please!

 To late...her fans want her back!  The petition is started and we are going to keep telling Y&R to bring her back!  She is a very important part to the show!  We need her back.  Especially the Winters Family.  That family hasn't been the same since Dru went over the cliff!

Drucilla is exactly what Y&R needs to make it a viable soap again. Her return just as Neil stands at the altar about to marry Ashley would send shockwaves through Genoa City!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

How do you know it was Christel who wasn't playing "nice" and not Victoria?

Thanks. You KNOW I had to sign my name on the dotted line!! Normally, I don't get involved with petition signing and things of that nature because I LARGELY believe them to be a waste of time and energy, but in this instance, I'll take my chances. And who knows?? It might actually work!!!! I'd sign this damned paper a THOUSAND times if it would ensure that my Drucilla Barber Winters/Victoria Rowell could come back PERMANENTLY!!!!

There is only one slight problem in all of this, wasn't Victoria rumored to be headed to AMC for a short term run or perhaps a brand new character for the long term on AMC?

Well, AMC DEFINITELY wouldn't be my first choice for Vicki, but it would certainly put the two best African American actresses in the history of daytime, Vicki Rowell and Debbi Morgan, on the same show and possibly in the same storyline, which would be an embarrassment of riches!!! A triangle between Jesse, Angie and Victoria Rowell's character would be FIYAH, and it might even make AMC must-see TV again for the first time in YEARS!!!!!!

If "Kreizman & Co" could manage to create a kick-ass character and allow Vicki to display her trademark sassafras in the process, it could be a slam dunk. What I DON'T want to see is her being tied down to some lamely-written character with no room for development or growth!!!

I am TIRED of waiting for Maria to get her head out of her ass and ask Vicki back to Y&R. Besides, Y&R would be a MASSIVE waste of her talents right now. AMC is doing a better job of writing for it's African American cast members than Y&R is, which is soooo sad considering how socially relevant and colorblind the show used to be in the 1990s.

I am ready to see my girl back on the small screen, and I'd welcome her presence on practically ANY show at this point.
