DAYS BYTES: A cup of black coffee costs a dollar. The look on Adrienne’s (Judi Evans) face when Sonny (Freddie Smith) said he was interested in Will — PRICELESS. Now that Adrienne disapproves of Sonny being with Will, I sort of, just a tad, ever-so-slightly want them together. Why is that?

Sami (Alison Sweeney) wanted to give Will (Chandler Massey) a present, but his first reaction was to wonder what his mother has up her sleeve. Will told his mother if she wanted to get back together with EJ he’d root for her.

GH BYTES: If you are a Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) fan then I suspect Thursday’s episode of General Hospital might have provided a bit of closure for your couple, in light of the fact Burton is leaving. Then again, it might have just rubbed salt in a wound. I have to admit it was well done. I particularly enjoyed seeing the Spixie I once loved fall back into their old dynamic. I think my favorite parts were the baby shower and the Lamaze class.

However, as a Liason fan, I kept demanding my TV to tell me where the “What if Jake Hadn’t Been Mowed Down by Luke (Anthony Geary)” episode is?   READ MORE

Y&R BYTES: Wednesday’s The Young and the Restless was actually sort of fun, but not exactly “must see.” Nick (Joshua Morrow) pulled out the biggest gun he had in his holster, Cassie's (Camryn Grimes) memory. He took aim at Sharon’s (Sharon Case) mental problems by tracing them all the way back to their daughter’s death.

You know those horror movies where someone shoots a zombie through the stomach and it cuts to the zombie with a giant hole in the middle of the body? That’s pretty much what Nick did to Sharon with that emotional bullet. The judge told Sharon if she wanted to stay at the top of Newman Enterprises she was going to have to submit to an inpatient psychiatric evaluation. In the meantime, he appointed Victoria (Amelia Heinle) as interim head of Newman.

What did Sharon do after the judge’s decision? She ran to Tucker (Stephen Nicholas) and the two ended up doing the slippery slide at his place. Of course Adam showed up, which provided Sharon the opportunity to glide out of Tucker’s bedroom in her panties.

GH BYTES: Todd (Roger Howarth) arrived at the Quartermaine mansion and asked Tracy (Jane Elliot) for part of the money to pay Jerry Jacks’ (Sebastian Roche) ransom. He also called Carly (Laura Wright), Johnny (Brandon Barash) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) in for a meeting of the One Percent Club. Tracy couldn’t figure out why she hasn’t been affected by the toxin, but everyone else is.

Best line of Tuesday’s General Hospital was when Todd said, “Sonny with a chance of vengeance.”

Y&R BYTES: Poor, Sharon (Sharon Case). The interview that was supposed to make her look impressive to the business world backfired and now she looks like a fool. The headline labeled her Newman's Grim Reaper!The article went on to say Victor's dog should have been left in charge of the company over Sharon.

It's a shame Sharon didn't really kill Victor. Case would excel at playing a Black Widow, and a web of her very own would ensure she didn't lose  any of the items her kleptomaniac a** steals from various department stores.

B&B BYTES: Rick (Jacob Young) burst into Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope’s (Kim Matula) house shouting he wouldn’t let Liam hurt his sister again. He proceeded to berate Liam for being a screw up. I almost wondered if Rick was channeling Bill (Don Diamont).

At Forrester, Thomas (Adam Gregory) hovered around Hope like he was a drone waiting to mate with the queen bee. I’ve become convinced chiropractors need to advertise during B&B. These stories give viewers plenty of whiplash. READ MORE
