Congratulations to Maura West for winning the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress. How sweet were she and her little girl onstage? West has been nominated two times for Outstanding Supporting Actress since she's played the role of Carly Tenney in 1995. She was nominated four times for Outstanding Lead Actress and once for a special Daytime Emmy for Irresistible Combination alongside her co-star Michael Park in 2005. Her first Daytime Emmy win was in 2007 for Outstanding Lead Actress.

Congratulations to As The World Turns' Michael Park for winning the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor award. Bittersweet win for all ATWT fans and nice mention of the show. This is Park's first nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor and win. Park has been playing the role of Jack Snyder since 1997, and was nominated in 2001 for Outstanding Supporting Actor.

Congratulations to General Hospital's Julie Marie Berman for her back-to-back Daytime Emmy wins for Outstanding Younger Actress. Berman's been nominated for her role as Lulu Spencer three times (2007) since she took over the role of the rebellious youngest child of Luke and Laura in 2005.
