The Young and the Restless to Air Jeanne Cooper Tribute on May 28

 




CBS Daytime will air a special episode of The Young and the Restless on May 28, in memory of the late Jeanne Cooper (Kay). Cooper's cast members, friends and family will all be featured in the telecast.  

“Jeanne Cooper was a legend and we want to give her the tribute she deserves,” said Angelica McDaniel, senior vice-president of CBS Daytime. “The cast will honor their longtime friend, family member and co-worker in the greatest way possible, as we celebrate her life and vibrant spirit and share it with the audience who loved her as much as we did.” READ MORE

Scandal Recap: "Any Questions?"


Cyrus (Jeff Perry) spent most of this week’s Scandal dodging reporters’ questions about the president’s affair.  Meanwhile, Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) was reluctant to make any statement at first, just wanting to stay in bed with Olivia (Kerry Washington).  How awkward was it having Cyrus stutter at the simple question, “Where is the President?” 
  
Cyrus finally got Fitz back into the Oval, only to be informed POTUS had decided to give a speech that night, telling the American people he would not seek re-election. Cyrus looked like he was going to puke. 

Desperate, he told Fitz to make up with Mellie (Bellamy Young), and he’d help Fitz carry on his affair with Liv.  Fitz stayed firm. He doesn't want an affair; he wanted to openly be with the woman he loves.  READ MORE

SPOILERS: Michael Learns The Truth About Lauren and Carmine on The Young and the Restless!

Michael/Lauren/Carmine: The Baldwin's marriage goes from bad to a hot mess. After Lauren returns from her rendezvous with Carmine, Michael grills her about the deck of cards he found. As Lauren tries to come up with a story, the two receive news about Fen being in trouble. Fen’s issues make Lauren come to the decision to end her affair with Carmine. Lauren contacts the bartender, and puts a fork in their dalliance.

With Michael’s suspicions on high alert, he finally asks Lauren outright if she’s two-timing him. Lauren attempts to put Michael off with an answer, but in the end, she finally confesses. Will the Baldwins survive this latest hurdle?

Sami’s Mission Goes Off The Rails on Days of Our Lives


Sami (Alison Sweeney) tried to intercept the evidence about Will (Chandler Massey) before it got to Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).  The man Sami confronted didn’t know what she was talking about, and insisted he worked for the Salem PC, not Stefano. Sami then chased the man through Salem, before finally speaking with him again. She got him to admit he had the evidence, but instead of giving it to her, he went to call Stefano. Sami stopped him, and offered to make it worth his while by giving him the 30K she stole from Nick (Blake Berris) for the evidence. When he still refused, Sami tried to grab the bag from him and ended up attacking him. READ MORE

Carly and Michael continue to worry about Morgan.  Michael has reached out to Metro Court employee Woodrow, who is part of Spinelli’s online connections.  Woodrow has hacked into Morgan’s account, and found online chat records between him and a girl using the handle JeromeAroundTheWorld.  Woodrow has printed out Morgan’s last conversation, which Carly reads.  She wants Woodrow to find the girl, but he’s reached a security wall.
