Days of Our Lives Sees Its Best Fourth Quarter Ratings Since 2009!
Salem U.S.A. continues to be the place to be! NBC's Days of Our Lives completed the fourth quarter of 2013 with its best overall ratings since 2009. DAYS matched its 2010 numbers among women 18-49.
The serial was up 12 percent among both W18-49 and W25-54 versus one year ago and was up nine percent in total viewers. This should come as no surprise to anyone who's been watching DAYS.
The soap that won the Daytime Emmy for Best Drama in 2013 is the most consistently-addictive daytime serial airing at the moment. Even with the exit of lightning rod actress Eileen Davidson (ex-Kristen), DAYS continues to provide steamy, suspenseful drama five-days-a-week.
Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Kate Roberts' (Lauren Koslow) comically-botched attempts to help a teen mom cover up killing her ex, Brady Black's (Eric Martsolf) downward spiral into crack addiction and the ever-tumultuous love-to-hate affair of EJ (James Scott) and Sami, are just three examples of red-hot stories DAYS continues to churn out. I haven't enjoyed the show this much since I was in college in the late 90's. Kudos to the cast and crew!
