Soap Opera Digest is reporting comedian Sean Carrigan has landed the role of Stitch, Dylan’s (Steve Burton) army pal. Carrigan’s role is recurring. Look for Stich to hit Genoa City on June 28.

Another new character with backstory for a new character (Dylan) who's already getting way too much screen time.
Is Lilo coming too?
Well who didn't see this coming??? Lmao!
he's pretty damn hot, though...
Welcome to the new triangle on Y&R:
why the possibilities are endless....
Haha. LMAO. Can we all hop on the guest (non)star train?
Dylan is getting so much back story and air-time on this show it's not even funny. He has his warehouse apartment, is buying the coffeehouse (apparently).
When is the last time we saw where Paul Williams lives? Does he live in a shoe?
All I can do is laugh. Really.
So Dylan needs to have a friend in town who was in the service? Hmm....what young man in the service is the Y&R audience familiar with?
PHILLIP CHANCELLOR THE IV!
MY gawd. why not keep the Chancellor name on the show since the only one that had it has passed away? Chance could be cast with the actor of JFP's choice yet they'd rather have a nobody character???? Why? Viewers would be familiar with Chance.
I take it Stitch is strictly for Dylan????? The actor is a comic,is he going to be used to make Dylan fun or a little more relaxed.?
It's gonna be hard to make the telephone pole a little more relaxed.
More propping, can hardly wait.
Sean Carrigan is hot and funny. He used to do a series of Ntelos wireless commercials around 2006, and couple years ago he did an action packed At&T commercial where he's chasing after a bad guy. His best was in a funny short where he played Brett Farve around the time the dick pic scandal happened.
Um ok. He' must be a FOJ. Otherwise, we would have more hair models. It really frosts my flakes when soaps with long histories (GH and YnR) have so many legacy characters that can add so much to the canvas but instead create new characters to prop other new characters. I know and agree that there needs to be new blood but seriously? I loved SB on GH and miss him terribly there but I think TPTB on all shows need to tread carefully in these times of people leaving soaps when they go all 90 percent new characters and 10 percent existing cast. GH may be headed that way with the OLTL3 but since they just got there, I'll reserve judgment on that one.

Yes. Yes. And Yes.
But it makes too much sense. That's precisely why this regime won't do it.
If he needed a friend, why not have written Chavez differently. Why not tie existing "recurring" characters to him if it's what gets JFP off.
I really don't care. We all know he's here...he's _________...I guess we gotta get used to it.
All great suggestions too...about Phillip, Chance, ANY of those would work and would thrill all of us...but no.
And by the way I didn't mean he's gay...I just don't know what else rhymes with "here" that would work.
I could get down with this, if and only if, he becomes a love interest for Sharon. Selfish, I know. But it's clear the writers have no interest in writing for unless she's someone's girl. And at least he isn't a Newman!
PFERRANDO, I would like to complain about this and Dylan, but I have already decided, "IT WOULD BE LIKE, BEATING A DEAD HORSE"
Can we make Jill the horse?
Thanks for posting. LOL @ the Danny Woodhead part at the end.
If we must be forcefed Dylan, can this guy be recast to take over the role? He's attractive & has more than 1 facial expression. Pretty please.
You're welcome, rozzberry! I've been a fan of Sean Carrigan for a few years, and he would definitely be a great recast. He's not just a "Stand-Up Comic"... he's been acting for years, but he's never had a leading role, unfortunately.
DEEP F***ING SIGH!!!
Instead of bringing on new characters, and again, giving yet more story for Dylan the Dud, offer Jess W more money and make her more of a regular on the show. Bring back Tucker, to give Devon a story. Stop with the new characters already (but, again, it must be the money. It's cheaper to hire a new actor then pay the vets. I almost can't wait to see what happens when Eric Braedens contract come up for renewal. He takes crap from no one. It's obvious also that MS is looking for more money and more story-line). I am SURE they are looking at all the perks Steve Burton is getting, so for anyone who was on the show for years, they are going to fight to get their share.
Oops! I was messing with an old message. Didn't mean to post twice.
