Which actor do you think should win Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series?
As much as I love Chandler Massey's performances last year, majority of his performances have been VERY lack luster; Max Ehrich definitely deserves to win this damn award and NO ONE ELSE!!!!
Max Ehrich. This young boy is incredibly talented and he's done a great job scaring the hell out of me in his portrayal as Fen.
I don't think that Chandler Massey needs this 2nd Emmy and his performances last year really haven't been all that great.
What is Bryton James still doing in this category? I thought the last year already should have been his last. He's 26 and about to get 27. Common!
I would love to see Freddie Smith get this.
I have to say, six months ago I was 100 % Team Chandler. And, truthfully, his performance last year was great, and does the deserve the Emmy. However, this year's lackluster and generic style (not to mention his apparent disinterest in his role) have made me less of a fan.
I'm already looking forward to Chandler's replacement, to be honest. I just don't think he's going to continue in this role past his current contract cycle.
My hope is that they choose someone who's talented AND goodlooking. Days tends to go for the pretty.
What is the age bracket for this category? Does anyone know?
Bryton James seems a bit on the old side for younger actor.
Definitely Max Ehrich as Fen. Great job during the Summer and Jamie story-line. Hope he comes back to save the Baldwin story-line, which is floundering due to lack of showcasing.
Yeah, I think most of us have come around to this way of thinking regarding CM, which is too bad. He's capable of giving great performances when he's not relying on the cheesy mugging and when they initially paired him and Sonny together I thought he was great. But he definitely seems to have lost interest rather quickly in the last few months or so.
Personally, I'd love to see Max Ehrich or even Freddie Smith get it. Long as it's not Bryton I'm good(it's like they increase the age limit by one year every year to accomodate this guy; I don't get it).
I think Chandler M has been great in the whole gay story-line and was happy he got the Emmy last year. But since then, he hasn't had much of a story and sometimes his smirks get to be annoying. But Max Ehrich has really impressed me and hope to see him get more air-time because he has those dark looks and is a good actor. Would like to see him win. He would be great as Sonny's son Morgan, on GH because of his looks. Hope Y &R uses his talents better then they have been lately.
I don't think it will be Chandler this year it will be Max, he did amazing job with the bully storyline and I think it will be an upset.
I'd love to see Chandler and Freddie split this one!
harlee -- I think you're right. I think Max deserves the Emmy big time. I can't wait for the now near-dropped s/l of Lauren and Carmine to rear it's ugly head, so that Fen can go s#it-fire truck on his mother.
Today's episode was good.
I think Max is only going to get better the more he's used, and the more range they give him.
He's actually played angry Fen most of the time except for when he was first brought on.
I'd like to see more of a mature side to him.
Today's episode was great and no Dylan\Avery having 45 minutes of airtime but the previews for Friday back to same grind...1,2,3...I'm counting so I don't explode
Twas so very good to see Fen. Ol Fen is getting closer and closer to the truth about his Mother. She can't help herself, she's thinking about Carmine the Italian's pecs, biceps, and lats. Good to see Marco Dapper keeping himself in shape.
