Which actress do you think should win the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series?
Katherine Kelly Lang has NEVER been a supporting actress on B&B.
Arianne Zucker for the win.
I'm glad KKL is supporting. There's no way she would've won against Susan Flannery. And technically she WAS supporting last year.
Now THIS year, with her sleeping with Bill, her rivalry with Taylor, and this upcoming "crisis"...she'll definitely be leading.
But for last year, she supported Stephanie, and like the rest of the cast, she talked about Hope Liam and Steffy. Technically Susan Flannery was supporting as well.
B&B had two lead actresses, and one lead actor. And we all know who they were...
Well she was last year. Brooke talked months about her daughter's sex life and was a supporting role in Stephanie's death storyline. KKL didn't have much front burner material last year, other than her "happy end" with Ridge when Ronn Moss left the show.
I'm glad for both Melissa and Jessica on Y and R, but I truly think KKL deserves to win.
Can't wait to watch this year's show.
I'm happy KKL is nominated, if not for last year's work, for the stellar work she has given into the character of Brooke for 26 years. Having said that, I think that for now, this is as good as it will get for her. Making it into the nominations is still a long way from actually winning the award. And I just don't think she'll get it just yet.
The person who I would like to give this to, acting-wise, is Ari Zucker. She has continuosly brought in marvelous performances and turned the shittiest of storylines into sugar last year. I think this one will be between her and Julie Marie Berman.
What is it w/ the Y&R cast dominating every category? Anywho, Arianne Zucker should win but I think Melissa Claire Egan will win.
Melissa Clair Egan is long overdue. She should have won as crazy Annie long ago. That girl can play so many different personalities. Speaking of which, I think Kate/Connie should have been up there.
giogio-If I remember the pre-nominations correctly, KSul was slotted into the lead catagory.
As for who should win this category, gotta stay with my beautiful girl, Julie Marie Berman. She's one who can turn less than meaty material into something that resembles much more than it is. And that, for me, is a sure sign of talent...
Should KKL win for the squinty eye or the one tear?
If KKL is supporting I have no idea what Hunter Tylo, Jennifer Gareis, Ally Mills would be considered. Are they extras?
KKL was supporting last year. All she did was prop Stephanie and Hope. KKL should win. Her scenes involving Stephanie's death were wonderful. What the hell did AZ do last year?
Why is KKL in supporting? Shouldn't she be in lead? Is this a mistake?
Oh wow LOL at the shade here re:KKL Is she the next Susan Lucci? As if...
AZ had some very amazing scenes throughout all that baby drama. My mom who never even watches the Emmy's told me that she well deserved to win something for her acting throughout that storyline.
KKL for the win. She deserves it the most as a person and as a true heroine in soap business.
Melissa Egan is good but sometimes she over-acts, a bit too much shrieking. She deserved the nom.more as Annie on AMC. JMB has won twice already, think KKL will win, but would like to see AZ get it.
