Are The Casts of Young and Restless and Bold and Beautiful About to Do 'The Harlem Shake'?

Has the gauntlet been thrown down, in terms of which soap cast can best do "The Harlem Shake"? Following the cast of All My Children going viral with their version of the dance craze this week, comes buzz that the CBS Daytime actors may soon be shaking what their mamas gave 'em! Is it just me, or is daytime a lot more fun than it's been in a long, long time?

Check out this tweet from the official CBS Daytime profile:

Just imagine Eric Braeden (Victor) or Hunter Tylo (Taylor) making it clap. I know Joshua Morrow has to have rhythm, with all that swagger Nick Newman is constantly displaying. They call him Dollar Bill, but would Don Diamont's dance moves make anyone want to put dollars in his old Y&R Speedo?

Michael Muhney (Adam) seems like he would be able to get straight ethnic with the right beat.  In the words of Kay Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper): Dear god in heaven, I hope this happens!

Oh, please let this happen Soap Gods! Y&R has the best looking cast in daytime. The idea of Marco Dapper, Redaric Williams and Joshua Morrow shaking their money-makers is giving me "Blanche Devereaux"-level vapors!

Isn't it untrendy to do something trendy?

@ SoapArmageddon: I can filter! Wink

Somehow, I doubt Eric Braeden and Jeanne Cooper would be game. Just my feeling. I do imagine Kate Linder would be front-and-center!!! Lol.

Why wouldn't the vets do it? The AMC vets did. David Canary, Julia Barr, Jill Larson, Debbie Morgan, Darnell Williams and Cady McClain were all there shaking with the newbies.

Age or vet status did not factor into my opinion (I imagine Kate Linder, Joshua Morrow, Christian LeBlanc would be among the first to sign up.) I just get a sense that Eric Braden and Jeanne Cooper wouldn't participate in such a thing.

The REAL Harlem Shake as shown below is the only Harlem Shake that anyone should be doing! (Although Jeanne Cooper might break a hip, THAT would be worth watching! LOL)

It's just a little fun JBJ, such a buzzkill lol I'm pretty sure everyone knows this is not the real harlem shake considering how popular the original one was in the early 2000s when all the hip hop artists brought it back from whichever decade it came from.

I said I would love to see Jeanne Cooper do the original! Jesus! LOL

No. Not even close to true, especially when you look at all the comments across the land from people who NEVER heard of the Harlem Shake before the video craze and Baauer's song especially when they see what the REAL Harlem Shake is all about. Plus, "whichever decade it came from" was in the early 80's; it was popularized mainly by Diddy in the '00's, but as you said, was in several other videos as well.

Can they do the Harlem shake, throw cupcakes, play trivia, and do their interview all at the same time? I'd rather the energy be directed to the story and the characters than all this nonsense.

I don't think any of this is fun because most of the focus is on Victor and the newbies.
