Marco Dapper!!! What a fabulous start to today's episode. Everyone looks hot today. Lily in that fuscia dress, is a sexy hot mama for her man. Jabot taking over Tuckers off was a smart move.
Micheal Eilbaum always directs a great episode.
Lil' Faith is cute as can be. The first five minutes of this episode is leaving you wanting more like the good ol' days of Y&R.

New furniture for everyone and glad to see that orange couch in Lily and Cane's has been cleaned and dusted off. The lighting is great. We couldn't ask for more. The backdrops, the shots and acting is superb.
The fireplace finally working in the background of Laurens hotel room. The attention to detail has stepped up drasticlly.

Carmine and Lauren are so incredibly hot together. It's so great to finally see Lauren in a great story line after all this Sheila-related mess. And even though I LOVE Michael and Lauren together, it's to the point where a story like this is simple working so much better and really has an impact. I mean they are married for seven years now ... this couple is loved. It's a great built up behind it. It's not a married couple that starts cheating after their first three months together.
LOVE Phyllis and Jack together. I'm finally over my hate for the character of Phyllis again. Jack brings out the best in her. She doesn't appear desperate or needy anymore. Great writing!

This is sad news. Unfortunately, the survival rate for those with pancreatic cancer is extremely low. She was fabulous during her time on Y&R (even with MAB's horrid writing) and I loved her on 'One Day At A Time' as well.
As for Y&R as a whole, this show is getting better and better with each episode and I cannot wait to watch Y&R when I get the chance to sit down and watch it. Josh Griffith and his writing team are doing a helluva good job with the writing and I'm loving the way that JFP is working to bring this show back to its former glory days before Bill Bell stepped down. I no longer dread having to watch this show anymore. I get excited when I set down to watch the show.

I caught a GLIMPSE of Lily Winters today, Drucilla's daughter.
I don't know where this came from, but it was one little moment, where she was quiet. Tyler walked out of the house, and Cane is standing there looking at her. And she has this devious little smirk on her face she sips her wine.
It was a good second for me. My entire family was together because we had death in the family. And go figure, instead of appropriately mourning, we're all gathered around the tv watching Y&R. And when Lily smirked...EVERYONE started laughing.
Usually during her scenes, we take it as a sandwich break or time to run pee. Today, Christel Khalil did something I've NEVER seen her do...and that was inject a little something extra into the role...unless THAT was scripted too -_-

ok, ok.... I was talking with a long time pal who is an ABC soap fan. She loves the General Hospital and the hoopla over the 50th.
I sent her a link to the 40th Y&R clip, and she loved it.
I told her that this show is RED ( had to throw this in for Harlee ) HOT again.
She asked me why I thought so, and I gave her many examples and I finally said "love in the afternoon " is back.
None of this would have happened under MAB's regime.
I love the Jack/Phyllis slow burn of a romance.
I love the Neil/Leslie romance. I love Billy/Victoria's unique love....
I love the never ending Nikki/Victor romance.
I love the Carmine/Lauren quickflash romance...if you can call it that.
I am waiting to see this show daily. I have to SEE what happens. I have to WATCH the actors, and pay attention to the screen, not wanting to miss a thing.
Ok, so we have a "who cut the brakeline" mystery. If it were under MAB right now, Avery would have fallen into a frozen pond on her way to Milwaukee and lil Faith would have seen real elves living in the trees, speaking to her in morse code. Meanwhile, Nikki would have been attacked by a crocodile.....

I really hope not. I saw the person that played her and she has't aged well.
She looks fantastic for a woman born in 1953!!! Please. Can we stop being mean on her about people, please! I don't think any of us can stand out there for the world to see and not be ridiculed and hurt by it. Just an actor on their craft and not their looks.
