General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
Caleb pretends he's John, and informs Rafe he wants to take him back to the crime scene and review what happened to his mother. Rafe's not eager to go anywhere with him, so Caleb brings along a uniformed officer.
Luke interrupts Todd and Carly's intense conversation inside The Sun's offices. When Carly finally lets Luke in, he informs her that he knows about a possible Quartermaine heir. Luke wants her to tell him what she knows. Carly realizes Luke's trying to worm his way back into Tracy's good graces, but she refuses to help him. She feels it would hurt Michael. Luke gets angry, and slams the desk beside him. Todd, hiding underneath the desk, reacts and Luke pulls him out by the ear.
Federal agents want to arrest Tracy for fraud and racketeering, but Connie arrives and stops them. She tells them she's the publisher of The Sun, and it was her story. Connie claims to have lost the evidence, which means the agents can't arrest Tracy.
Michael informs AJ that Connie recanted her story about Sonny giving her the information. AJ's not ready to believe Connie's new story. Duke arrives, and AJ asks if he managed to find a way to save ELQ. Duke hasn't been able to unfreeze the assets, or hold off the creditors. Michael feels they need to find other means to save the company. Duke decides to look into the past.
Sonny's glad Connie had a change of heart, and thinks they need to identify whoever actually gave Connie the information. Shawn wonders who would have motive to do such a thing, and Sonny names Tracy.
Lucy tells Anna she needs to protect Rafe from Caleb, and wants Anna to release Rafe to her custody. Anna refuses, but Lucy forces her at gunpoint to go down to the holding cells. Anna is shocked to discover Rafe is gone. The women check the cell for clues of an escape, and Anna distracts Lucy long enough to handcuff her to the bars.
Tracy thanks Connie for saving her from the feds. Connie admits she's not used to doing nice things for people. She tastes some of Lila's relish, and gushes about how good it is. Tracy worries someone will find out she is the leak, as Sonny and Shawn arrive and overhear Tracy's confession. Tracy begs Sonny not to tell anyone, but Sonny heads out. Connie promises to fix things for Tracy.
Connie asks Sonny not to tell Michael the truth, because Tracy will lose her son. She points out Sonny constantly worries about the same thing. Sonny agrees not to say anything, because he owes Connie a favor for recanting her testimony on the stand.
Luke threatens to call the police on both Todd and Carly, unless she tells him what he wants to know. Carly caves and mentions Franco once told her about a possible daughter named Lauren, but that's all she knows.
Todd thanks Carly for saving him, and asks her again to run away with him. Carly doesn't want to be on the run with him. Todd asks about her feelings, but Carly is still angry he made her look like a fool. Todd says he's in a lot of trouble, and needs to leave immediately. They kiss, and he points out their kiss didn't feel like hatred.
Luke tells Tracy about Franco's possible daughter. Tracy wants to find her. She needs to repair the damage, and complains about Edward leaving her the relish. However, she soon has a thought about Pickle Lila.
Duke returns to ELQ, and shows Michael and AJ a file about Pickle Lila.
Anna looks at the surveillance video, and is shocked to see "John" lead Rafe away.
In the alley, Caleb wants Rafe to go over the details, and uses the police officer as an example. Rafe can't believe his eyes when Caleb kills the officer. Caleb declares he's Rafe's father, and will fix everything. He vows to raise him as the Morley he's meant to be. When Caleb attempts to take Rafe away on a boat, Rafe bolts.

A "nod" means a day or 2. Not story that is the focus of the show during rating's sweeps. This story which has now been distracting Lucy from a stronger story for the past month is way more than a "nod".

We can all not agree on what a nod is for sure. However one thing I have found with RC/FV is that there always seems to be a purpose to what they are doing. I am only familiar with their GH writing but I am happy to wait and see how it plays out. I for one don't think it has ruined Lucy's story at all- I am totally enjoying all of it..

Exactly. And I don't think there has to be a length on a nod in this instance. I believe both were saying that they were acknowledging the Port Charles series, not that it would only last 2 to 3 episodes.

I want my JASAM back! Sam is way to pretty and bad ass for McBain, That long ugly hair of his makes me want to throw up in my mouth! Hell, when there is a kissing scene between Sam and McUgly, I get all mixed up with both of their long dark hair flying all over the place! GH will never be the same without Jason and Sam, their chemisty is untouchable! Shame on GH for not doing whatever they could to keep Steve Burton from leaving. Now my only hope is for Kelly Monaco to go to Y&R as well! The GH that I have always loved is becoming a distant memory. Peace out GH, I mean OLTL, wait, I mean GH.....Who knows what to call this show anymore! Oh,and Frank, You may not actually know how many loyal Jasam fans are really out there, you could have thrown us a little bone and allowed them and their son a little more then 5 minutes of happiness before Steve left. What a slap in the face, you suck! The true GH fans know that we need Phelps back, hit the road Frank!

I adore Cartini and this "vampire" story.
I don't care how they keep them but I need Cartini to make sure Michael, Roger and Kristen stay on this show..in whatever form they see fit.
and for the ones bringing up the hair point...how many men do you know pay attention to anything as trivial as the length of another's man's hair.
And as a true GH fan..we are used to having choppy storylines shoot we put up with Phelps and Fruza for so long it became old hat

Oy! Lord have mercy! Guza, Frons, Phelps, and Wolf are gone and I, for one, am not sorry they have left the Propect Studios. Even allowing for inconsistencies and anoyances with RC,(Hello-Let's have the surogacy story be more about L and D as opposed to Maxie, her mindless deceit and Britt and her vendetta with Sabrina), he has had the decency to make what I believe is an honest effort at restoring core families (the Spencers, the Quartermaines), to the canvas and tried to balance out the mix of characters overall. Is it perfect? No. Do I see my favorites as much as I want to? No. But the emphasis on mob centric themes has receded, the hospital and ELQ aspects are more visible and those are things I'm happy about...

I will miss McBain. he is the only one I will miss.Of the oltl three.
Todd just goes to far and gets away with it.Sonny anyone? Starr begs everyone for their secrets,and spills them.
I did like them all at first, we'll see how it goes.If they return.
I doubt I will watch OLTL on line,I didn't watch the soap before so I really don't have any intrest in it. But I am happy for the fans who watched the show and will now get to see their favorites again.
If ATWTs and Guiding Light came back I would watch that !

I love my Jasam but heck no to Kemo going to Days.. Not only is GH the only soap I watch but how do you know how they would be written there- even if they would be together. I highly doubt the Days fans want couples from our show over there- just like I wouldn't want theirs.. One day I would love to see the Morgan Family back together.. I am a Kemo fan first though so bring on a hot guy for her.. She is way to foxy to be alone for long...

I agree Stefan Stavros. Not a fan of how they aren't picking up on story. We waited 18 years for Maxie to see her Dad and then it is dropped. It's hard to invest in story if they don't build it.
