Could Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) daughter be joining her parents in Port Charles? A little birdie told yours truly Carly Schroeder will reprise the role as Serena Baldwin on General Hospital. This will mark Schroeder's first time returning to GH since 2001.

Fans of GH and Port Charles may recall, Serena was born via surrogacy. When her now deceased, biological mother Dominique Taub Baldwin (Shell Danielson) found out she was dying, she asked Lucy to carry her child. Years later on PC, Lucy adopted Serena as her own. Last time viewers heard about Serena, the heiress to the massive Taub fortune was said to be studying in Europe.

I would love to see Carly back on GH! I love when old child characters and the actors that portray them come back to a show. Love seeing the flashback scenes! Carly Shroeder is quite beautiful still, and she is a decent actress now from what I have seen, having been in various indie projects!

She's 22, so she could definitely be a contender for Michael. it would be awesome for them to use her rather than a recast. She had massive chemistry with Kin and Lynn.

This would be very interesting and one of the only young returns I would like to see a story develop around. I think she would be old enough for Michael I think. If Starr is sent back packing to Llanview than Serena maybe able to mend Michael's heart. I believe she is now a doctor as well.

I completely agree with angrierblackman. If they can bring back an actress from years ago, it would make the use of flashbacks much more fun!

Hoping that this 100% true. GH need some legacy children back on the screen. Serena Baldwin is apart of that legacy. Would love a friendship between her and Maxie. And to have a fierce rivalry with Lulu like their fathers. Ps would love her to be a doctor , fashion model or journalist. By the way didnt Maxie and Serena grow up together as little girls?

I can't remember for certain, its possible CS Serena might have been on GH, but I don't think she was other than when GH/PC did NB.
The only time I remember Serena on GH is when she was born and before Scotty left(then not long after KS joined PC)

With Scotty coming back, this makes sense. Since Karen was killed off on PC & it was acknowledged that she was dead on GH & them giving Scotty a son only to have him killed off a few months latter, he needs Serena back. I loved CS so it would be nice to see her back.
Serena was only ever on GH when she was a baby, after Scitty left she was never seen again until PC. The only time Serena has appeared on GH might of been the 2 yrs of the PC/GH nurses ball & the PC/GH double wedding of Kevin/Lucy & Mac/Felicia.

I'd love to have Serena back. It's nuts we didn't get her back the other times Scotty was on the show, but of course, Guza & Co. didn't really know how to write for him at that point. Carly Schroeder is still a cutie. It's hard to believe she's so grown up. I feel so old.

Carly Schroeder as Serena was indeed on General Hospital in the 2000's. Soapnet aired a bunch of Holiday shows recently and it was Christmas and Laura was hosting a Christmas dinner and Serena was there. Bobbie and Scott were in jail so Laura had to take over with Lesley's help. Christmas Dinner at Bobbie's. Luke shows up briefly s does Tony and Carly (played at the time by Sara Brown) and Laura asks Luke to stay, they were on the outs. Jacob Young was playing Lucky at the time. Does this ring any bells???..
