I am glad that Michael and Lauren are finally getting a story. I wonder if the stunning results are a breakup because these two have been together forever.

I am interested in Victor/Adam. This should be interesting now that Adam is CEO of NE and Billy is out. On the relationship front I hope they dont turn Adam into Nick 2.0. He should focus on NE and Sharon.

I was/am hoping the phone call was to a therapist, as Nikki is fearing falling off the wagon (again!) due to all of the bullshit Victor has been up to.

Nikki and Jack stuff sounds great! I like Niktor but Jack brings out a more down to earth Nikki.

Cane & Chelsea would be nice. As long as he stays away from Sharon it's all good. I'm still hoping for Sharon/Dylan, Jack/Nikki & Chloe/Billy!

If they wrote in a pregnancy for Nikki, I'd have to laugh. Not since AW wrote a late (VERY late)-in-life pregnancy for Rachel would there be such an age-defying story twist. MTS is 56!

I must have been not paying attention ... but why do so many seem to think that something anew is wrong or something with Nikki?

OK... I never understood why the writers kept Nikki from Jack once everything happened between them, especially when he took over Newman. It just has never made any sense to me that after watching her praise Jack up to their ill-fated wedding that she would not contact him once... even if to chastice him over taking Newman.

As for the FEN story and it possibly being the ruin of Michael and Lauren's marriage is absolutely ridiculous! That would mean we would have to see Fen lie for months so that Michael can argue with Lauren that Fen did push Jamie or Michael will have to have Fen arrested for the same reason. That is where disbelief in this show will arise because if Michael is forced to have his own son arrested... especially because he doesn't want him to turn out like Michael and Kevin... I will be disappointed. That is where Michael would have to step down from DA and defend Fen. If not then it's just wrong and Lauren deserves to bed the hot bartender without anyone judging.

As for the fight between Victor and Adam, I am not liking it. I like the idea of Jack running Newman with Adam at his side and Adam always being a step ahead of Victor and then a year or so down the road Adam double crosses Jack or something juicy like that.

Right now, Y&R is only good. Writing is spot on but the dramatic pay-offs from stories are dry, dull and boring.

Nikki taking that worrisome phone call on Friday has me a-thinking that she has cancer or something like that. Would be a great s/l for Melody Thomas Scott. She deserves it, and might get her, her first real recognition in Daytime. Hopefully she is not pregnant.

Regarding the Fen story ... I hope that Jamie is not going to put us through an amnesia bout. Lauren is kind of annoying me right now because she's done enough and gone through enough to not take anyone at face value; including her own son who she really doesn't know all that well. Personally I think Fen is just a spoiled brat but a twist to the whole thing would be interesting.

Everything is working right now on Y and R with the exception of Chloe and Kevin. I love them both, but not together. They are NOT a believable couple.

And whenever Chloe is away from Kevin she tears up the screen. Loved her last week when she was with Billy, and also her scenes with Chelsea. Maybe SHE needs to get back with Cane.

FINALLY the much expected scenes with Nikki and Jack. And that phone call could really push her back the the front burner where we need her.

I loved the talk yesterday between Nikki & Jack, it hit the spot to the long time viewers and was needed. Nikki is standing strong against Victor on this issue, love when Nikki has her back(bitch)bone back....

The phone call and it was a doctor. Well, what if...this is a change of life story for Nikki and Ooops! baby is a real fact in life. My mom had a change of life baby resulted in a my little sister. I was a senior in high school. If so this could be very fun time...who's the daddy, Jack or Victor?

Oh please Nikki has a twenty something grandson. She better not be preggers.

harlee490 ... I like Nikki so much better when she has a backbone and isn't doing the haughty Madame Newman routine. At this point I don't think she's being a bitch at all. So good to see here standing up to while at the same time being worried about Victor's viable future.

I think Nikki has cancer or some sort of health scare. She's too mature to be pregnant.

Just as long as we don't lose MTS from the show, I say revisit her illness from years ago, or make her pregnant. I don't ever remember Y and R having an older character pregnant...maybe Mary?
