AMAZING: All My Children and One Life to Live to Premiere Digitally on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes!

Okay, of all the news that has come out about Prospect Park's continuations of All My Children and One Life to Live, this is definitely the most promising. I take that back. Mama Agnes Nixon once again being involved with her babies was the most promising news, but the following development is most assuredly the runner-up.
Prospect Park has inked a deal to distribute The Online Network's (TOLN) all-new episodes of AMC and OLTL via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes!
Per their distribution pact with Hulu, AMC and OLTL have the potential to reach millions of fans on Hulu.com for free. Hulu Plus subscribers will be able to watch the wanton, striving antics of the citizens of Pine Valley and Llanview, Pennsylvania play out on web-connected TVs, mobile phones, tablets and PCs. iTunes users will be able to watch on iPhones, iPads, iPod touches, Apple TVs, Mac and/or PC.
“I believe that both Hulu and iTunes have the vision, the reach and the technology to help us launch TOLN in a significant way,” said Prospect Park CEO Jeff Kwatinetz. “We think these platforms are part of history, helping us to transform distribution. Hulu’s reach, platform and advertising prowess are best in class, and iTunes provides an incredible way to buy TV shows that is second to none. Through both of these partners, we hope daytime drama fans are absolutely delighted to be able to watch their favorite programs in a broadcast-quality HD format wherever and whenever they want.”
Look for new eppys of AMC and OLTL to begin streaming this spring!

Ya'll need to chill. Go on Hulu.com for FREE, pay a measly $8/month for Hulu Plus, or get a season pass from iTunes (WORLDWIDE VIEWING) for $22. I have Netflix & watch TV online all the time. Hell, I've been reading my Soap Opera Digest online through Zinio since 2008!!!! It's 2013, people. This is the wave of the future. Get over it!

The original news release doesn't say anything about it streaming on TOLN. It only mentions Hulu, HuluPlus and iTunes. Either The Hollywood Reporter has a scoop or they misread the release.

Hulu probably will have 5 episodes at a time. If you fall behind then you are screwed. Maybe Hulu Plus will have all the eps.
I thought heard the last 5 episodes free but older eps if you fall behind will cost 99 cents or whatever 1.99 on itunes.
Not sure?
Besides I am sure they will still air on The Online Network and Hulu isn't that bad. I mean its gonna be a 20 min show. If you love AMC/OLTL you can deal with whatever bothers you about Hulu.
Freaking complainers.

From the beginning PP has said it would be on their site. The new press release was to detail the Hulu, iTunes news. This is the most hopeful I've been about this since I first started teasing and hinting about Prospect Park trying to extend their rights to AMC and OLTL (months before Deadline "broke" it by the by;-))
It actually looks like they will get these puppies to the dog show this time. #Excited.

I believe Hulu offers a month-long free trial for it's Plus program, like NetFlix does.
you can created an account and do the free-trial thing, then keep doing it over and over with a new e-mail address so you'll never have to pay.

You'd think they could work a line into the release somewhere, if they were still planning to stream it on their site. It's funny how nothing is ever straight-forward with Prospect Park. They leave so much up to interpretation.

@TVGord, in their defense, things started leaking long before they had a press strategy in place — both times. I guess I am partly to blame for that. LOL They have now partnered with an A-list, top notch PR firm, the same one that launched the Twilight franchise and Marvel's The Avengers. Things appear to be looking up.

LOL. I don't see why people are getting so upset.
TOLN was the first website mentioned where the soaps would be streamed so the writers of the press release probably assumed that it went without saying.
I think the Indie Soap Awards were streamed on TOLN and there was no charge--I watched it for free, so I don't see that changing.
I repeat HULU.com shows for free with ads (as do most websites that air series content).
Where's the confusion coming from? This thread has devolved into a bizarre form of Telephone (lol).

okay, i've decided to give hulu a shot.
also, for those that don't have an X-box to watch it on their tv. there's streaming products stuff like Roku, and most newer blu-ray players come wifi enabled with built-in apps like Netlflix and Hulu Plus.

I plan on watching it on hulu. I watch SNL clips and episodes on there. And I don't have Direct TV so I watch RuPaul's Drag Race and Untucked on logo.com. I have to wait til the next day to watch the new episode but it is really great to be able to watch it for free!

Well that settles that. It's just as well. The site would be as slow as all get out, or would be crashing all of the time like similar ones that tried that. I will be watching on Hulu Plus!
