Foz McDermott OUT at Prospect Park!
By Jamey Giddens on January 23, 2013

That didn't take long. Soap Opera Uncensored's Nelson Branco is reporting controversial TV executive Foz McDermott is no longer attached to Prospect Park's reboots of All My Children and One Life to Live. According the soap journo's moles, PP is looking for a new head of production. Uh, paging Wendy Riche!

I totally agree Jamey! Wendy Riche or someone with proven talent and success where it's clear beyond a reason of a doubt that they truly care about daytime drama.

Working in TV, I have met Foz before and the word "controversial" isn't correct. Foz is a nice guy. Smart and passionate. Curious to know how he is considered "conroversial".
Foz's role at PP wasn't a creative one. It was more operational and financial. Wendy Riche has a different skill set than Foz and wouldn't be right for the role. It is more of a production management/line producer job and not a creative EP role.

Yeah this doesnt sound good. We dont know if they fired him or if he quit. If he quit before production even started this might not be a good sign of what is going on behind the scenes.
