Hope Welcomes Sami and Rafe’s Reunion on Days of Our Lives

Days of Our Lives kicked off its 12,000th episode by having Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) thank viewers for watching.

Nick (Blake Berris), Gabi (Camila Banus) and Will (Chandler Massey) argued about whether Will should be the godfather to his son. Nick continued to be the slime ball he has been for months, in regard to Will being a gay father. He did mange to mask his attitude in concern for the possibility Will being around his son could make the secret get out easier.

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) showed up at Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) house, where Sami and Rafe (Galen Gering) were about to have sex. After the interruption, Rafe left and Hope quickly commented on how happy she was for her niece.

Kate (Lauren Koslow) met up with Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Billie, (Lisa Rinna) where she continued to complain about Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Lucas was happy about Chloe’s return to Salem, because it meant Daniel (Shawn Christian) might leave Jennifer (Melissa Reeves).

Later, Sami and Abby (Kate Mansi) started to help Gabi get dressed for her wedding. Sami informed Gabi they would always have a connection, because she was there for her with the baby. She told Rafe’s sister she would be happy to be an honorary aunt for the child.

As Will and Nick were getting dressed for the wedding, Nick told Will he was doing a very honorable thing for the child.

Just as everyone else was beginning to arrive at the church, Days of Our Lives was interrupted by NBC’s coverage of a Presidential press conference.

What did you think of Days of Our Lives' 12,000th episode?

I just watched Friday's episode online and I cannot wait until Chad reveals to everyone that Nick isn't the father but that Will is! The fallout from this is going to be huge! I cannot stand Nick or his homophobic jabs he's lobbed in Will's direction.

I was waiting for Billie to walk up to Nick and remind him that she was his first. (In the form of Julie Pinson) Smile I bet the new regime has no recall of that or decided it never happened like so much of what they rewrite.

Wish i could have seen the whole thing but the last 20 minutes were interupted for a breaking news story with the President. I was soooo not happy with that. I will have to catch it on the computer.

So glad to be a viewing member of the Days family since 1970!

Gotta say I'm enjoying the bitchy, revenge-seeking, always-pissed off Chad; I suspected he was the one "lurking" in the shadows all week, trying to get the 411 on Gabi, so I was pretty much waiting the whole ep just so he could put it on them at the end(luckily I caught the last 20 minutes on Soapnet). Can't wait for Monday!
