Villy Plots to Take on Victor, Jack and Adam on The Young and the Restless
After Billy (Billy Miller) left, Adam (Michael Muhney) ranted about his new task of having to take out Billy at Newman Enterprises. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) immediately told him she’d had enough, and demanded to know when they’d be able to separate him from the hustle and bustle of Genoa City.
At Villy’s house, Billy and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) discussed how they were going to save Newman from Adam, and return control of Newman and Jabot to Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) respectively. Their discussion quickly revealed lingering trust issues on both sides of the fence.
However, Billy told his wife that after everything they'd been through over the past year, they had to stick together. Billy suggested they bluff their way into getting control of Newman, so no one would see them coming. The two started playing poker, as a way to work on Victoria’s bluffing. The game ended in them having sex.
Do you think they can successfully bluff Victor, Jack and Adam?
Jack woke from his withdrawal plagued sleep at the cabin, and wasn’t sure where he was. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) quickly tried to reassure him everything was fine. However, the withdrawals caused Jack to see the stripper who died in his living room, instead of Phyllis. When Phyllis finally got through to Jack, she wanted to know who Stephanie was. Jack covered, and didn't reveal the truth.
At his club, Nick (Joshua Morrow) had a small meltdown over the possibility his club’s launch might be delayed.
Later, after Avery (Jessica Collins) left her apartment, Nick researched he dog tags he found earlier.

Nick has a slight meltdown over a possible delay? Oh the life styles of the rich and powerful.
Genievive is on her way home to Port Charles.

I don't know Billy hasn't been in the corporate business world very long, he isn't as seasoned as the others. I think Billy could use Mommy Jill's advice. Jill knew how to play all those corporate games. She lost plenty but she won some big ones too.

Truthfully, I liked the Villy pairing at the beginning. it was fun and quirky and they played well off each other just getting AH to loosen up. Then all the long drawn out baby drama just was wearing to watch. Victoria's miscarriage thank to being arrested thanks to Daddy dearest was awful.
Even this past Christmas, when they made plans to got to jamaica, all victor had to do was to play the family card, after all the terrible things he had done, she caves. Victurd promises to be civil to Billy Abbot, and yet disses the moment he goes to that awful penthouse. Sorry to say but avery's apartment looks much cooler.
Just once, it would be gratifying to see Victor lose.

A while back I may have loved the "Villy Takes On Newman" story, but Victoria has basically been ruined for me.
She is much too weak a character to plan/do any elaborate take-down scheme.
It was an interesting show though, featuring only 4 couples. Three of them were mostly having a good time, one of them was in hell. (Sorry, but I had to FF the Jack/Phyllis scenes.

Hopefully, Josh G (boring as #ell) will have Phack winning out over all. That would teach Victor once and for FiretrUCKing all. The only place that Cougar Victoria belongs is in a nut house for forgiving her Dad year after year. That would be great poetic justice for ol Vicky - cuckoo like Sharon.

I have to agree with U. I find most of the stories boring as hell. The Avery cooking and baking crap is just too much. The teen stories suck. The Jabot crew, I don't even want to waste my time for a comment about their cast. So far, I am very unimpressed and I have been a viewer for over 30 years. Nick's bar is tacky along with most of new sets.

Those two tweets are so not believable as "business" anything.
Adam won't even break his stride over them!
I hope Dylan character will have a good story because Y&R is not riveting must watch TV

Oh, I am bored with The Show right now, and feel an obligation to watch, 'cause like you, I've watched for over 30 yrs, every day.
I dont like Josh G's way of story-telling (boring, slow, romantic). I would like to get MAB back in a heartbeat.

Y&R is not all that bad right now but it does somehow seem to be slipping back into implausible story lines a bit too much.
What I am enjoying most right now though is trying to figure out how and from where EB is being fed his lines.

Without a doubt, I would consider JG the superior writer when compared to MAB. Is is more organized. Its a little slow, but I think the show is okay.
However, I would like to see Villy end. Sick of their sh*t. Same crap, different day.

tedew, you are too funny. Eric Braeden is being fed his lines, probably, like this. When he is on the phone with someone... the stage=-hand is probably feeding his lines to him through that very phone.
Get him off the stage.
