I am really beginning to think Port Charles, New York must not require Drivers' Ed. Yet another in a long line of fatal car accidents will rip apart the lives of the townsfolk the first week of 2013. Happy New Year, General Hospital fans!
Crash Bash: Young adult lovebirds traveling to or fro Port Charles should really consider air travel. Trey (Erik Valdez), Kristina (Lindsey Morgan), Michael (Chad Duell) and Starr (Kristen Alderson) will be involved in a car accident with loopy Connie (Kelly Sullivan), who has Johnny (Brandon Barash) in her trunk! Look for Ellie (Emily Wilson) to play an integral role in the accident. One of the aforementioned won't survive...
Will The Truth Set Starr Free?: Following the events of the crash—and with Connie's life hanging quite literally in the balance—Starr finds out who actually killed her family. Will she ever be able to forgive Johnny?
An Affair (For Two Geeks) to Remember: Will Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) ring in the New Year with a healthy dose of heartache? Ellie is supposed to meet him on the roof of General Hospital, if she wants to continue their goofy affair. Considering she will be otherwise occupied (see above), could Spin get the wrong idea, and head straight for Maxie (Kristen Storms)? Look for a shocking turn of events involving Spixie, Lante, a dog and a baby.
Vision Quest: Olivia's (Lisa LoCicero) second sight could spell doom for Lante's (Julie Marie Berman and Dominic Zamprogna) dreams of parenthood. Well, that puppy is a cutie...
Tart and Tarly: After months and months of flashing her his pecs, Todd (Roger Howarth) finally gets to show Carly (Laura Wright) some of his other body parts on New Year's Eve. One of daytime's best couples of 2012, celebrate the start of 2013 with a steamy kiss and a screw! Don't expect Tarly to bask in the afterglow for too long. The truth about Johnny killing Cole and Hope comes out next week, which means Todd's cover-up of that heinous act—plus his culpability in the baby switch—can't be far behind...
This Kiss: Port Charles' answer to McDreamy plants one on the nursing station's stand-in for Betty La Fea next week. Is the smooch the real deal, or will Patrick (Jason Thompson) kissing Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) be nothing more than a way to ring in the New Year?

Totally agree about Carly & Todd! Don't like them as a couple. Liked her much better with Johnny.
But what I really would love is for her & Sonny to get back together.
And since I saw Brandon tweet a pic of him & Kirston Storms @ the Lakers game on Christmas Day, It dawned on me Wow, what a great pairing that would be now.

All I can say is a big fat yawn. All of this junk is about lame characters and actors that leave me cold as a winter in NY! I say Cartini is missing a fabulous opportunity to kill off most of GH's dead weight in one fell swoop. Poor Kelly Sullivan has tried her best with the ridiculous DID story but she falls as flat as week old room temperature soda. The same goes for Chad Dull, Kirsten Alderson, Brandon Barash, Eric Valdez, and Lindsey Morgan.
Their characters need a one way trip to soap character heaven and the actors need to hit the audition circuit again. They are all a crashing, useless bore.
As for Cartini they never cease to amaze me with the way the waste airtime on actors and lame stories that will do nothing for the show's ratings. Give us more AJ,Lucy, The Quartermaines, etc. Of course we probably wont see Kim M again until the trot Robin out again for Feb sweeps. ( Dont get me started on that hot potato nonsense.)Cartini continues to prove that despite all the rabid praise they get they have no idea how to run this show. The ratings are up inspite of them because long time fans are desperate to see the vets who had been dispatched or put up on the dusty cobwebbed shelf and at least is something to watch now.
But Im sorry Cartini are a lousy creative regime. And Ive been watching GH since the days of Tom Donavan in the 70s. SMH.

The Olivia story is one of stupidest things Ive ever seen on TV day or night. How in the world can whacked out Carlavati justify giving a woman who was drugged with LSD psychic visions? It makes no sense anyway you look at it. I think its sad that the soap audience has been so dumbed down over the last ten or 15 yrs that they accept this garbage.
Entertainment and poetic license is part of the medium be it film, TV, stage etc. But there comes a time when the writers are just insulting viewer intelligence. And this is a prime example of insulting viewer intelligence. Lisa Lociero hams it up great. But this entire "story" is so far beneath her its sad. She could be a great actress if they would give her something of substance and intelligence.
Its so sad that a genre that has dealt with drug abuse and mental illness so well in its history has been watered down to this zaney, immature junk. But blame Cartini.

She could be a great actress if they would give her something of substance and intelligence.

While I am not a fan of the Psychic Olivia storyline, it is not a new idea that the use of psychotropic drugs like LSD could be used to unleash latent psychic abilities. It has also been used at various times in pop culture as a device to "open one's mind" in many different genres from books to movies to TV.
Maybe you should research before you type.
