Any time any woman moves on with Daniel it's too soon.

He's sexy but he's a sleazebag. It's plausible that a hot, red-blooded doctor might sleep with one or even two of his patients, but Daniel seems to sleep with ONLY his patients, including a grandmother and granddaughter.

Why are these writers so determined to tell the same stories they were telling before they got fired two years ago and which didn't work then either?

These two were a snore the first time around; now they are downright repulsive. Jennifer barely seemed to notice Jack died and Daniel is simply a terrible character, no matter who he is with or what he is doing.

Please ... just get it over with already ... put them together! The sooner they are together, the sooner they will be apart.

I find it hilarious that the only way Lucas can make it into a promo is to criticize Jennifer!

They are two very dull, self-righteous characters... the dull self righteous ones should be paired with their opposites as it's the only way they are viable characters... if I'm lucky re-pairing these two will sink them both and Days can become slightly more watchable when their both off-screen.

Yes. Jack has barely died and she's only thinking about Daniel. And I'm sorry but the character is such a douche bag. He ALWAYS falls for ANY female patient he treats. I'm sorry it's not sexy, it's just gross. What kind of doctor does that? A sleaze that's who! Jennifer and Peter were a build up. Jack is barely even cold and she's declaring her love for Daniel?!? It's just tacky! It's a slap in the face to all the long time viewers who have invested in Jack and Jennifer. The character annoys me more and more. He should have followed Melanie to Europe, not stay in Salem. Waste of air time.

Daniel is the WORST! Why do they insist on trying make him the star of the show? Is there some big group of vocal Daniel fans out there or do TPTB just really like this actor?

DAYS used to be famous for its romance! Does anyone really care if these 2 are together? This has been so long and drawn out. If they'd get together already, then maybe then can go and visit Melanie and JJ permanently. What would have been more interesting would have been to bring Billy Warlock back. Yes, they did that last time Jack "died". But how about a storyline with someone suing the hospital and Frankie coming into town to help out Justin? Seems like Jen has become as self-righteous as her portrayer.

Its too soon. I just don't see any chemistry between Dannifer at all. Jen belongs with Jack & only Jack!

Ughhhhh. Please move on to another planet! I cannot believe this show is STILL wasting time on this. Even though, thankfully, it's not the A-story anymore (cannot even believe it once was) but still. Just ship them off to move to Barbados or something.

Worse couple ever, I hope they are leaving together!

Forgetting that Jack is barely cold in his grave, they are terribly, terribly boring together. I just don't understand why the show keeps pushing this couple. For a show that used to be all about romance, they currently don't have any romances worth watching.

There has been a lot of chatter about Doctor McHairy having no chemistry with any of his leading ladies. From Chloe to Nicole to Jennifer (twice) and still no McSteamy... just McHairy Dullsville. It has a lot to do with the acting of Shawn Christian as well as the writing and the INSTANT pairing of this actor/character with other actresses/characters on the show.

Even with a great actress like Suzanne Rogers, Christian has had little effect in creating a true mother/son chemistry between the two. Lest we forget that Suzanne has been able to successfully create amazing chemistry with Victor/Aniston and become a SUPERCOUPLE in 2012 when so many of the less than SUPER couples are tweens or in their early 20s so we know Rogers has the ability to emit chemistry with a stick of butter!

So it's time to shave the chest and get rid of Christian. Sadly... he'll most likely be paired with Chloe who has returned.

But there is also, Melissa Reeves, as Jennifer. Even when her partner in the supercouple, Jack, returned the chemistry they shared was there but it was just duller than when they first created the heat. I don't think Melissa Reeves brings it to the table at all in the LOVE STORIES anymore and she has this "i'm here for the paycheck" stare in her eyes in most scenes when it comes to the love affair with Dr McHairy.

I'm sure that this storyline will turn into something more than just quickly dumping Jack and creating a story of romance for Jen JUST a couple of months since Jack's death. I am hoping that the actress will be giving a huge dramatic role in which Dr McHairy dumps her and we see her fall into a depression that everyone keeps leaving her and all that blah blah blah. Otherwise, she needs to just pack and go to whereever her son is living.

^^ICAM. Melissa Reeves has phoned it in for years now. She lacked any kind of presence in her last return (when Jennifer almost married Frankie) I rooted for a Jack/Frankie pairing because I thought Matt Ashford and Billy Warlock had WAY more chemistry than either character did with Jennifer!

Bottom-line: both Jennifer and Daniel need to exit Salem ASAP.

Daniel and Jennifer are the most contrived "coupling" I have seen on a soap opera in a long time. Seriously, they are even worse than Y&R's Lily and Cane. Normally, it's delusional fan bases (like the Lanebots) who try to convince the masses that an onscreen pairing is soooo much better than it actually is.

This show is trying to make these two into a supercouple and convince us that they are worthy of the title, but as I have always said, you can't have a "supercouple" without super WRITING, and that's something DAYS hasn't had in a long long long long long time. These two seem so forced. The actors often seem bored. The dialogue is stilted and stuffy. It's like a bad parody of a soap opera. This is the crap that nighttime comics like Chelsea Handler eat up!!!

I wish they'd stop trying to get me to drink their Kool-Aid. I ain't thirsty for it and don't know what's in it..........

As awful as this story and couple are, the Daniel and Jennifer pairing has infuriated the Jack fans who have been insufferable and exceptionally annoying since he was axed many months ago. It's not the 1800s any more. A widow does not need to grieve for all eternity just because her boring husband passed away - a husband that had not been around much and was not even in Salem until a little over a year ago. If Brady can move after Madison without any hesitation, I don't know why Jennifer can't find someone else, also. She doesn't need to be miserable and alone even if the audience of bitter Jack fans want her to be.

Bottom-line: both Jennifer and Daniel need to exit Salem ASAP.!!!!!

Please make it happen! Take Gabi/ Rafe & Gary Tomlin with them.

Haven't watched a second of Days since Reeves went all hatin' on the gays. Surprised she's sticking around now that Days HAS gays.

The only reason Rafe, Gabi, and Daniel are front and center is because Tomlin/Corday are trying to cement them into DAYS continuity. Daniel as Maggies egg baby...Gabi and her 'anchor baby', and Rafe in Sami's orbit.

These characters are Sunset Beach/Passions reject characters IMO, and will never really catch on. They need to stop shoving them in our faces. I will never care for these stupid characters. I FF whenever they are on, I even FF characters I like if they are in scenes with them.

Enough is enough.

@angrierblackerman: They sure don't seem to like black people over there. Abe and Cameron have had little air-time since the last writing regime left. In fact I don't even know if they have a black storyline in the works. I guess the Carver's got their Welfare revoked! No 1st and 15th for them. Not even Food Stamps!

But this is the history of daytime. If you gonna have gays and Latino's front and center than the blacks got to be sacrificed. You cannot have that much diversity at once. Seems to be a running theme in a genre kept a live largely by black women... Seems the black women bring in the numbers and this genre and get no rewards. Other groups who don't even bring in 1/8th of the daytime ratings for soaps get 3 to 5 days of week of drama and a storyline even if it is bad.

Anyways I have stopped watching as of Friday. I am just not feeling the show at all....

Does anyone really care for this couple? I love Jennifer because of her history and Missy has always been charming in the role. I want Jennifer in a good relationship. I can see why fans like Daniel- handsome guy, now Maggie's son, etc...but their relationship has been so forced...I don't understand why the writers need them living together before Christmas! They are destroying Jennifer like Y&R did with Sharon.

I'm one of those people who hate to fastforward through any part of the show in case I miss something important. I now fastforward every single scene with Jennifer and Daniel. I hate them. I know hate is a strong word...but I hate them. I have always liked Jennifer. I didn't care whether she was with Frankie, Jack, or Peter....so I don't have a horse in the race of who should Jen be with. (In fact, I always found Jack repulsive after he raped Kayla.)

But Danifer is the worst, most boring, most annoyingly self-righteous couple I have ever been tortured with.

I agree. I don't care for the couple, but not because Jennifer should be grieving for Jack. Let's not forget that he and Jennifer had been back together for only a few seconds when he died in that falling elevator, and it's not like she just met Daniel at his funeral. They were together and in love when Jack returned, and it was never established that Jennifer had fallen out of love with him. Remember, Daniel dumped HER because she couldn't choose between him and Jack, so in a way, she ended up with Jack again almost by default. At least that's how I see it.

All that said, I wonder why they didn't go the Jennifer and Brady route, which is where things seemed to be headed at one point. I think that would have been far more interesting than Jennifer and Daniel Part 2. Brady and Kristen are hot together, but that story is making Brady look like the biggest idiot in soaps. I miss the bad-ass vodka-swilling Brady who had no qualms about throwing an old lady into a sarcophagus. Bring him back!
