General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
Faison prepares to open the door without his disguise, but pauses when Anna calls out for Duke. He asks her to wait a second, and puts on the Duke mask. Anna complains about Robert's arrival, thanks to Luke. She brings up the two men's suspicions about Duke, and Luke's trip to Turkey. Anna decides she’s moving out of Luke’s suite, and “Duke” suggests she move in with him.
“Duke” wants to cook a meal for them, and Anna reminds him of the time he made a pizza with Robin. She knows he was good to Robin, and “Duke” says he loved her. Later on, they sit down to eat and “Duke” thinks they should just focus on being together right now. Anna agrees and the duo shares a kiss.
Robert thinks Duke is hiding something, and Lulu mentions Duke possibly having another face. Robert's interest is piqued by Lulu's statement. Lulu explains Olivia’s vision of Duke having a different face. Robert wants to speak to Olivia to find out whose face she saw.
Patrick overhears Sabrina talking about a gorgeous doctor she has a crush on, and wants to know who she’s talking about. Sabrina spots Steve and says it’s him. Patrick is surprised, but reminds Sabrina that Steve has a girlfriend. She knows he’s taken, but it doesn’t stop her feelings.
Spin is surprised when Maxie announces she’s in love with him. Maxie dubs him her Mac, and can’t ignore her feelings any longer. Spin is upset she didn’t tell him sooner, but Maxie says she tried repeatedly. Maxie reiterates she loves Spin, and feels he knew it at the Halloween party. However, he still chose to have sex with Ellie. Maxie says her heart is on the table, and wants to know whom Spin chooses as his lady.
Michael visits Sam to discuss AJ. She can’t believe he’s alive, but thinks he should be locked up. However, Michael defends AJ by pointing out everyone's bad behavior in the situation. He doesn’t want his father going to prison. Michael is upset his parents are still fighting over him, but AJ is his father. Sam confesses if her father showed up, she’d want to get to know him. Sam advises Michael not to forget that Carly and Sonny love him.
Michael is hurt he can't talk to Jason about his latest problem. Sam swears she’ll find Jason and bring him home, because she believes he's still alive. Sam gets Danny, and Michael gushes over him. Michael is surprised at how much he looks like Jason, and Sam tells him about the real paternity results.
Tracy hopes AJ wasn’t granted bail, but he soon walks though the door. AJ shows Tracy his ankle monitor, which restricts him from leaving the house. AJ wants to see Edward, but Tracy forbids it because her father is sick. AJ is disappointed, but backs off. Tracy leaves the room, and AJ wonders how Monica came up with the bail money. Monica admits she put the house up for collateral, and Tracy overhears.
Tracy pretends Edward is not well, so Monica leaves to check on him. While she’s gone, Tracy gets a call and informs AJ that Michael is injured at Sam's. AJ removes his ankle monitor and rushes over to Sam’s. Monica returns and wonders where AJ went, and Tracy plays dumb. When AJ arrives at Sam’s and sees Michael is fine, he realizes Tracy set him up.
Lulu and Robert run into Olivia and Steve. Robert says he needs Olivia’s help. He wants her to tell him about the person she saw instead of Duke at The Haunted Star. Robert asks if the man had scars or tattoos. Olivia doesn't think so, but remembers he was smoking a cigarillo. Steve thinks they need to make a picture of him, and asks for Liz’s help.
Liz draws, as Olivia explains her vision. When she’s done, Liz recognizes the photo and knows Robert will as well. She shows him the photo, and Robert is stunned to see Faison.

The "sketch" of Faison was absurd. It was an official portrait!
Is Geary off on one of his breaks now? If so, I like the fact that he's suddenly sitting in a Turisk prison. One of the things that I couldn't stand about Guza is that he had to create elaborate story lines for Luke to leave town that seemed to hold far too many characters... and the show... hostage!
Loved the Q's today! Even though there's only 3 1/2 of them left, there as entertaining as ever! Leslie Charleson got her hair done on the one day off she's had all month. Looks FANTASTIC!

Well, Elizabeth IS an artist, so it fits that she would draw a realistic picture, but I agree...it looks like he "sat" for that one.
I'm so glad Robert is back. I just hope he stays as smart as they have written him on his first day back. Didn't take him long to realize there was something up with "Duke." I also just hope he stays! I love having him on my screen...someone close to my age to make my heart skip a beat!
Amazing how quickly Faison was able to turn into Duke. Putting on a mask like that should take longer than 60 seconds...maybe Anna will see the loose edges when they start getting intimate since he surely didn't have time to glue the thing down.
I am hoping and praying that Spinelli will turn Maxie down and this stupid story will be over. I'm really liking Spin with Ellie; I have never liked him with Maxie romantically. Really, as vain as Maxie is, she wouldn't give Spinelli a second thought as a lover in real life. However, other than Johnny, who else is there for Maxie? Especially now since Trey is leaving.

Tracy really pulled a fast one on AJ/Monica. It was mean and yet funny at the same time in how she manipulated both of them. She saw her chance to accomplish two things in getting AJ sent back to jail and for Monica to lose her power over the Quartermaine mansion and took it without a second thought.
I think that Spin shoots Maxie down and hope this is FV/RC way of ending Spixie for good. Spin has found the right match for him in Elle so let Maxie try to do the same for herself.

I love Tracy as an overall character, but she really is the Wicked Witch of The East. That was vile and underhanded of her. She should really sit down anyway. What business is any of this of hers anyway? It makes no sense that she would "go after" AJ. He has enough enemies without his own family turning against him. And what does she think this will accomplish? Does she expect to somehow gain ownership of the house herself? How would that be possible? If Monica loses it, it will be on the free market. So she probably kicked herself out of her own home. Real smart, Tracy.
Of course, no one forced AJ to cut off his ankle bracelet and storm to find Michael. He could have called places: Sam, the police, the hospital etc. He acted on impulse.
Well well, seems Sam has without difficulty taken Jason's place in siding with Sonny & Carly. Who exactly is she to cast any stones? Her made-up morals and hypocrisy was hurting my ears. Well if this is her stance, keep her away from the screen, thank you. Though I am glad she admitted to Michael that getting to know his father is important.
Still not feeling Steve and Olivia. I'm sorry but they have no business being in this storyline. All it does is make it seem like they are forcibly trying to make them relevant, and as usual, it's not working.
I did enjoy Robert and Liz working together. Liz is a smart cookie, and could provide for a very suitable right hand for Robert in his investigations!
Maxie really needs to buzz off. She has had Spinelli wrapped around her finger for eons, and only when he finally ditches her and finds someone new, she suddenly "realizes" she is interested in him? Puh-leeze. You lost your chance girlfriend! Besides, Maxie should have not problems meeting a guy, however with Spinelli I might not be that easy. So don't mess this up for him!

I LOVE Tracy Qaurtermaine, and it's awesome that we're seeing so many scenes with the Q's.
I can't wait until Robert exposes Faison aka Rubber Dukey. I hope they don't make Anna do the dirty with Rubber Dukey, that would just be gross.
I'm enjoying GH A LOT right now, I know Ron gets a lot of flack but the show has improved so much since his takeover.

Monica and Tracy looked so great today!! I loved Monica's shirt and her hair. I was sad to hear them chatting about Edward and it makes me sad we won't get anymore last scenes.. It was fun to see some Q scheming going on. I am hoping to see AJ make it back because I want Monica to keep the house.
Duke freaks me out knowing it a mask, Even though that is Duke I keep staring at his face thinking it is rubber looking. I am hoping Anna is gonna rip it off. Loved how everything came together with Lulu and Robert. Then them going to Olivia an Steve. Except I was screaming to Olivia tell them about his hair!! Then it was all tied together with Liz coming in.. Perfect scenes!!
Adored Michael and Sam. She is the only one that softened her attitude and really listened to what Michael was saying. One of the reasons I love her character is she listens so well, never judges and is always able to just let the person vent. I am excited and hoping we will get more scenes of seeing Michael become a protector for Danny- his Jason!! He will help look out for him till Sam finds Jason. I love seeing Sam using all her wits to figure this out..
I use to love Maxie and Spin- but I am a SpinEllie girl now. As their dialogue played out I realized how stupid Maxie had been acting. Please keep Spin with Ellie and let Maxie move on with Dillion or Johnny!!

Sam has a right to be upset at AJ because she was the one sitting in the jail cell the first part of the Michael kidnapping story because Sonny, Alexis and Ric believed that she had kidnapped their kids, when it was actually Faith who had done the deed. She also had run ins with AJ on the dead man's hand storyline before she even first got involved with the unholy trinity and then also later went with Jason to get proof that Michael was alive and that AJ had him. At least she told Michael that if her father (I'm still hoping that someday Vincent Izzary will pop up as someone from Alexis's past, not his AMC characer) showed up, she would want to get to know him also, she can understand that part of it even if Carly and Sonny (and Jason if he were here) could not. Hell, Carly's own father was a crooked DA or something and wanted to bring down Jason and Sonny and she still wanted to get to know him.
I'm actually surprised Ric hasn't shown up as AJ's lawyer. LOL. It would be great revenge on Sonny and great storyline and heck, Molly needs a father figure besides Uncle Sonny. (edited to add... wouldn't it be great if for a first scene he walked out of the elevator at GH??? LOL. He's been stuck in that elevator limbo for years!)
Tracey doesn't want AJ to get his hands on ELQ, it has nothing to do with the house. Tracey's always been about ELQ, and I'm sure we're going to see some classic arguements and fierce battles over ELQ soon. Both of Tracey's sons are from non-Quartermaine fathers but AJ, Jason, and to a lesser extent, Michael, Jake(if he were still alive) and Danny are all desecended from the male Quatermaine heirs. Sometimes in those families the males are the only ones that seem to really matter.
Maxie would've been good with Lucky or Johnny, but the writers sort of blew all of that. Now her character is floundering, along with some others that need attention.

The main thing that jumped out at me from this episode is how unrealistic it was that Robert was so interested in the face that Olivia saw during one of her psychic hallucinations. The classic Robert Scorpio uses WSB-trained skills to deduce riddles in crime solving. I thought it was a lazy and fast route Ron took to move along the storyline. I'm sure it was because they only had Anders Hove for two days of taping.
Once again, I love Frank and Ron, but this was not believable.

@mipeony- Thanks for reminding me about Carly's dad.. I had forgotten that story. Thats why I loved Sam's conversation with him. She softened her attitude and understood everything he was saying. Then just reminded him that his parents did love him.. I really hope Michael steps up for Danny. It is the thing he really needs to mature him and step away from his fathers lifestyle. Maybe it is the thing that would make him work with AJ on to protect Danny's interest. All I know is I am excited. Really hope we see them at the Q's for Thanksgiving

@mipeony: Ric Lansing to return as AJ's lawyer is a BRILLIANT idea! Ric's return would provide so much story for the sorely underutilized Alexis, Molly and Liz, as well as piss of Sonny! And Rick Hearst is mucho sexy and talented.
I enjoyed the episode and how swiftly the stories are moving. Glad Faison has been figured out by Liz, Olivia and Robert Scorpio! Robert Scorpio is awesome and I hope we get to see him with Emma before be exits town.
The acting was good in the Maxie/Spinelli scenes but I feel nothing for them as a pair. Spinelli with Ellie has been the most I have ever liked his character. Maxie is so whiny and ridiculous, I'd rather her grow up before embarking on a relationship. I hope Monday picks up with them concluding they have "outgrown" each other and that Maxie only wants Spinelli back because he is not actively stalking her.
With Sabrina, why couldn't she have been introduced and developed like Ellie? Ellie has been such a breath of fresh air. She's super cute, quirky but not a caricature. Sabrina is beyond silly and I find her unrootable. Her behavior is juvenile and hypocritical. she criticizes Britt for being so forward with a widowed Patrick but constantly obsesses over him. I resent that as an audience member I am expected to empathize with her before I actually get to know her beyond Mousy Nurse with goofy, lenses-less glasses!
Kelly Monaco sure is pretty. That's all I have to say about Sam. She's a blackhole of nothingness. Can she rekindle the fire she had with McBain? Sam with McBain has been the most I have ever liked her character.
I love a scheming Tracy! I love a sentimental Tracy! I love a protective Tracy. Aww hell, I just LOVE Tracy Quartermaine!

Maybe I'm wrong but I remember Jason talking to Sam about taking Michael from AJ and how he felt wrong about that. So for Sam to just automatically take CarSon side felt very off to me. I didn't like that at all.
If Jason, the man she worships and idolizes, regretted taking Michael away from AJ, why can't Sam? Her reaction to AJ felt completely off.
AJ is beyond stupid. He believes Tracy of all people, Tracy???? Seriously?? This is the woman Alice and to put a choke hold on so she wouldn't call the police on him. Tracy called the police on his mama and he believes Tracy? That made AJ look so stupid.
Where is Alexis and Shawn? Where is Molly and TJ? I'm sick of Sabrina. Her character is neither cute or quirky. There is nothing cute about her. Her crush on Patrick is pathetic. Stop having Liz prop her. Let Liz stay with the Robert/Faison storyline. She has good history with Faison like everyone else.

Tracy is MEAN MEAN MEAN (in my Susan Banks voice!),but I am enjoying seeing Monica and Tracy on the frontburner. I don't think that Leslie Charleson has worked this much since the 80s? lol. We all know what's gonna happen.......Monica's gonna lose the house and Tracy's gonna end up buying it for cheap. Then she'll be in the driver's seat.
However, it doesn't make much sense that Monica would have to put up the house as collateral. You'd think the Qs would have MILLIONS and she wouldn't need to resort to such means............

I'm thinking maybe the Q's/ELQ took a hit across the board when the water virus antidote ransom was collected for Jerry. I'm just loving Tracy lately. This is the Tracy who first started on the show years ago, everything is me, me, me. I am so loving seeing her with a storyline and not just Luke's shadow, as she was under Guza. When Geary would go on his long vacation we'd hardly see Tracy. Now, her and Monica and the Q's are back and front center where they belong!
That Duke mask is just so creepy, yet so real. It almost makes it believable that Faison can pass himself off as Duke. Love having Robert Scorpio back, even if it's only for a little while. I'm sure there is no way, budget-wise, they can keep all these actors under contract. But, if I can see some of my old favorites again once in awhile, I'll take it! So much better then watching Sonny, Jason, Carly everyday of the week as it was under Guza and Phelps.
This week I think is when Edward dies. I'm sure it will be a tear-jerker.

Loving GH! It's unfire! I love seeing action in the Q mansion again. Monica, Tracy and AJ fighting has been heavenly. And I'm so glad Robert Scorpio is back! Now we just need Holly back. And RealDuke revealed to be alive. I'm grateful to FV and RC who have brought my beloved GH back to life!

Still behind on Obs and comments but I will join the group wondering why Britt exists. She is completely unpleasant and I dont understand the point unless we are supposed to root for Sabrina the good girl. That doesnt work for me precisely because the key thing about her is girl. She seems absolutely inappropriate as a romantic interest for Patrick or even a friend for Liz.
I thought the comments about Britt were harsh...until I watched the show. I am commenting on the character, I have no opinion of the actor.
