So, his big plan was to kidnap Robin, let everyone think she was dead, then take her back to Port Charles and Anna would pledge her undying love? He thought this was a solid plan? What is he, twelve? Sadly, this reminds me of the one huge pet peeve I have with Ron's work: having grown adults act like immature idiots.
I normally nod my head in agreement with you and I don't know how familiar you are with Faison, but this insane, convoluted "plan" of his is 100% perfectly in line with his history and thinking because...Faison is BATSHIT CRAZY.
I'm not familiar with him at all, J Bernard, so thanks for filling me in. I've never had much tolerance for the all-evil, all-the-time mustache-twirlers, so I'll just grind my teeth as I watch as all the good actors of GH all runaround like Keystone Cops until he's worn out his welcome. (And I'll try to give him a chance. Jerry Jacks was kind of fun...kind of...this time around.
When GH Super-villains are done right, they borrow a page from the Marvel Comics playbook. The villains are given some sort of emotional or tragic impetus for their behaviors, but it is up to the actors/actresses to sell the character.
P.S. - Welcome back Faison!
Very well said samIShot. Couldn't agree with you more.
Soaps have NEVER been 100% natural/logical/realistic. NEVER.
And that's why they can be so much FUN. They can do ANYTHING.
And GH is on fire, now!!
Almost every day brings something more surprising or outrageous.
People shouldn't nit-pic so much. Just sit back & enjoy the ride.
I know I am.
Thanks to Frank, Ron & a spectacular cast, that's game for anything!!
I am SO glad a) they didn't ruin Duke b) he IS alive, too.

People who have had heart transplants are told by their doctors not to get pregnant. The risks to mom and child are too great. To have Maxie be the surrogate would be socially irresponsible. If they are going to have a current character be the surrogate, it could be Liz, Olivia (yuck), or Carly (did she have damage from her risky pregancy with Joss?). Or they could have a stranger or some Falconeri cousin come on the show, I guess.
That's a good point, js3557, I forgot Maxie was a transplant patient (since you never see them doing any of the things real transplant patients have to do, such as take a cereal bowl's worth of pills every day). Still, in soapland, stranger things have happened... (I hope you're right, though. I can't stand Maxie, and I like Lulu and Dante.)
Wow, he (Anders Hove) looks great! He's held up pretty well...sort of like Richard Dean Anderson.
SO glad Duke is really alive too!
I thought of you FFIT when I saw him!! He is the one great love that we share! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
@JBJ: You are TOTALLY correct. How could his plan NOT work?
@js: I agree... personally I think I would like it if Brooklynn came back & ended up being the unintentional surrogate (b/c she needed money & also wanted to help a young married couple out). ...Though I do think that Maxie needs something to do.
Sadly, this reminds me of the one huge pet peeve I have with Ron's work: having grown adults act like immature idiots.
Its not really that bad of a plan as far as psychotic stalker plans go. He could stage a big showy rescue of Robin while masquerading as Duke and it would just ingratiate him even more to Anna.
Of course that plan is out the window now that Robin knows who he really is.
AngrierBlackMan, your The Adventures of Flash Gordon "Princess Aura" avatar SLAYS ME!! LOL
(makes me want to break out the DVD set)
LOVE that Faison is back, and all the other vets! GH is on fyah! Now if they could only give Elizabeth a hot love interest...she is long overdue one.
