General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
Jason informs Sonny of Anna's desire to discuss what happened on the roof with Heather. Jason says he's not worried because the security footage will clear him of any foul play. Sonny wonders if Sam wants Jason to be part of her life now. Jason wishes to bring Sam and the baby home and start over. However, he's not sure what kind of life they would have or if Sam even wants them to be a real family.
The Davis clan excitedly gets ready to pay Sam and Daniel a visit at the hospital.
Sonny asks if Jason plans on leaving the business. He points out no one has the perfect life and people get hurt and disappointed. However, Sonny believes you need to love them though all that. Jason says he’s trying to do what’s right, but he wants to be with Sam and Daniel. Sonny tells him to trust his instincts and fight for what's in his heart. Sonny likens the situation with Kate, and his battle to save her from herself. He refuses to give up on her. He tells Jason not to give up on Sam.
Sam talks to baby Daniel about being a good mom and Jason as his father. Jason introduces Monica to the baby and she’s thrilled by the name, but asks if the last name will be Morgan or McCall. The Davis family arrives and fawns over the baby. Molly remembers the funeral and their tears for a child that wasn’t theirs. Sam says the baby needed to be mourned.
Tea pays Todd a visit at the PCPD and wants to know if he knew the baby wasn’t hers. Tea says she noticed John was prodding Todd to confess to something, but Todd was dodging. She knows Todd is capable of switching babies, and wonders if he did in this case. Todd goes over the events of that heartbreaking night. He claims he gave Heather the baby to care for, and didn’t know she’d given him back a different baby. Tea questions why he didn’t notice if the new baby had a different feel or weight. She asks if he saw Sam, but Todd denies it.
Tea says she doesn’t know what to believe. She knows Todd feels guilty for killing Victor and would have done anything to save her baby. However, she believes given the opportunity, he would have switched the babies to make sure she wasn’t hurt anymore. Tea tells him giving her a baby only to have it taken away is worse.
Connie flirts with Johnny, and then throws yogurt on him for looking at websites about committing a spouse. Johnny manhandles Connie and says maybe he’s ready to commit her. Connie knows he won’t since it means prison for him. However, Johnny figures he’ll lose his freedom, but she’ll lose her existence. Connie wants them to stop fighting and start having fun together.
Starr finds Trey looking at his annulment papers and explains Sonny wants his help committing Connie. Starr urges Trey to sign them, so Kate can get the help she needs. Trey isn’t sure he wants to help the woman who abandoned him. Starr points out Kate was young and panicked, but Trey helped his father conspire against Kristina. Trey continues to deny he knew anything about the kidnapping. Starr says Connie will go free, thanks to Johnny’s help. Trey notices on the computer Todd has been arrested for kidnapping, and Starr heads out to find her father.
Anna tells Luke it’s her and Duke’s wedding anniversary, and everything feels like a dream. Luke informs her he told Duke to leave, and he’s not ready to give her up on her. Anna’s worried Duke’s enemies can find him, but Luke figures his escape from prison proves he can hold his own. He wants to talk about them and get past the Robert incident, but Anna accuses him of being a liar. Luke reminds her that she’s a cop and should be careful. He advises her to check out Duke’s story, including his fingerprints and DNA.
Joe Jr. tells Duke they need to kill Kristina before the annulment papers are final. Duke says they've been filed, so Trey won’t inherit a dime. Joe asks who else has to die. Suddenly, Duke pulls a gun on Joe and utters, "You do", referring to Joe. Joe knows Duke loves Anna, but Luke is suspicious of Duke. Joe thinks Duke needs someone to do his dirty work. He says he’ll take care of anyone who stands in the way, but isn't happy when Duke names someone.
Monica tells Jason that Heather survived the surgery, but is in a coma. She asks if he and Sam are getting back together. Jason says he loves Sam and the baby, but it doesn’t change the mistakes he's made. He's decided to leave everything up to Sam.
Sonny goes to Johnny’s in an attempt to get through to Kate. Sonny promised he would never leave Kate, and intends on keeping that promise. Connie says Kate is gone, but Sonny knows Kate’s in there desperately trying to get out. Sonny starts talking about having Connie committed, but Connie reminds him only Johnny can do that. Sonny warns her not to be so sure.
Sam worries she doesn’t have all the stuff she needs for the baby, but Alexis says everything is being delivered today. They fawn all over the baby again, and little Daniel just soaks it all up.
Duke shows up at Anna’s with flowers for their anniversary. Joe appears at Trey’s apartment.
Starr sees Tea at the station and asks if her father did this. Tea suggests if Todd will tell the truth, it will be to Starr.
Sam tells Jason everything is set up at the lake house. In turn, Jason says he wants her to come with him.

I had the biggest grin on my face throughout the Davis coven scenes with the baby. Partly because the baby is adorable, but also because Alexis is adorable in Grandma mode.
Loved the Tea/Todd scenes. Her icyness is way more effective than her screeching.
Not loving the JOhnny/Connie stuff and his manhandling of her. There seems to be a line crossed and I don't like it.
So did Duke tell JOe to kill Trey?

The last Todd/Tea scene was absolutely flawless. Florencia Lozano and Roger Howarth were so present within those moments, it was chilling. Howarth conveyed a sort of emotional pure terror in Todd's eyes that I honestly don't think I've ever seen on daytime before, as Lozano's tonal change throughout that scene was riveting. Direction was perfectly understated. Just incredible work all around.

Ok is Sam ever going to find out what Liz did? If she didn't switch those tests the baby never wouldn't have been kidnapped and Jasam could have some more time together before it comes to an end. IF they are killing Jason I think its a mistake. Put him in a coma and leave the door open for a return at some point. Watch Jason will die and Liz will probably confess to Sam out of guilt. Then Sam will gonna channel all her grief into anger and god only knows whats going to happen

So, "yesterday" was Robin's birthday and "today" is the anniversary of Anna and Duke's wedding? Was that previously established? (just being nitpicky.)

I totally agree, J Bernard - the Téa/ Todd scenes were flawless.
The last scene, where Téa tells Todd she believes he would want her to have a living baby, a moment where it almost seems like she knows and forgives him - then she continues with, if he has done that, may God help his soul. Ah - CHILLS!!!! That scene was just fire and ice. Wonderful, GH, wonderful!
As for Connie, I'm getting bored with her. Just ship her off to Ferncliff already.

Todd has to pay. Soap scribes HAVE TO START making their characters pay for their crimes if they make them do the crimes. Part of the problem that most of us fans have is that the characters get off but now they just build up and build up the story to the end ONLY to see them walk into the police station in handcuffs and walk out 20 minutes later free because of some lame reason.
But then those characters lose creditablity because the fans ALWAYS remember. No fan has forgotten what Jason or Sonny do for a living so no matter how many times they scream that someone is as guilty as sin we are screaming back so are you. Everyone knows oldTODD and nuTODD's histories to know that no matter what Todd has no case going around being JUDGE AND JURY on Johnny when Todd deliberately did a horrible crime.
Over on DAYS, the DiMera clan do crime after crime and get off and it just gets to be a bit over the top. There is no reason to have EJ rape, shoot, or beat someone up when he can just be a villian and not a pyscho. Even Stefano is the same way.
On Y&R, Phyllis' story has been going on as long as Paul's story yet the judge throws out the case on the first day of trial while we are still dealing with Paul's which we all know the truth so it's more frustrating to know the truth in both these cases... PHYLLIS IS GUILTY OF ATTEMPTED MURDER and Paul is only guilty of trying to save a life by ending one in self defense.
Make them pay. SO if Todd has to go to prison for 6 months and then he gets out, HAVE IT HAPPEN. We will buy that he gets out because a prisoner threatens him then seeing him get off because the DA (usually a star on the show) forget to 'dot an "i" or cross a "t".

Robin's birthday is October 12th. I know this, because it's also my birthday!! The baby standoff played out on Friday, which was the 12th, so it would still have been Robin's birthday.
As for when Anna and Duke's anniversary is, I don't care, since I hate Duke!!
edited to add, I checked wiki but while it says they married it doesn't say the actual date.

Yes, Liz admitted it and apologized .. Sam, who is far from without sin when it comes to babies being kidnapped, accepted

Once in a while, there are scenes in a soap that make you stop what you're doing or thinking and just stare, hypnotized, at the screen. The scene between Todd and Tea at the end was one of these rare scenes. It was so REAL and penetrating. This scene worked so well because FL and RH drew on their complicated history together. Then again, anything involving Todd is complicated, except for his love for Starr. The scene was so compelling because in a matter of seconds Tea and Todd transformed from nagging, combative exes into a mother admonishing her son. She went from weak victim to controlling parent and Todd reverted back to the guilty and fearful 8-year-old that his dysfunctional and abusive childhood created. Just goes to show you what an amazing crop of actors we had at OLTL! Bravo!

Stefanstavros- Todd annoys me at times because he is everywhere but then scenes like his and Tea's happen and I remember why I loved him. They really are incredible together. I wish Tea would stay permanent and the new Patrick women were leaving.
I love Anna. Duke? No!

Anna and Duke's wedding date is 10/16/87. Not sure when Robin's birthday is. One site said 10/20th but as Perkie mentioned, it's most likely 10/12th as she follows the charcter of Robin closely.

Yougart never looked so good!!! Johnny could toss Connie out of a window and I would cheer. She is not Trey's problem. She left him to die and Kate is even
more annoying than Connie. Integration won't help. Loved Tea rubbing Todd's head on the way out,she knows him so well. As much as I hate Jason/Sonny and their incessant blabbling, you could tell the actors were tearing up because its the end of the line. At least for now. I almost expected them to kiss. As much as I would love for people to pay for misdeeds,if they did,the only people who wouldn't be in jail are Epiphany and Patrick and the very small children.

Have to agree with the Tea and Todd scenes. Both actors work so well together, it was like so true to life, like they weren't acting. Liked Tea's icyness, better then the screeching, and Roger Howarth, as always, the facial expressions, the eyes, whenever Todd is caught in a lie he becomes this little boy covering up his bad deeds. I just love him. Todd did a terrible thing, but Roger always brings out the side of Todd that wants to do right but always screws things up at the end. What an awesome actor, and that last scene with him and Tea was fabulous, how soaps should be written and acted all the time.
Love the adorable baby scenes with the Davis girls. And Steve Burton, there is something in his eyes like he knows the end is near, especially with the scene with him and Sonny. Kelly Sullivan was great as Connie, she's really gotten into the role. The whole show was great, good seeing Monica too.

^^THIS. ALL OF THIS! The acting in this scene was impeccable. FL and RH nailed every beat and as a longtime OLTL fan, this scene summed up the entire history of Tea and Todd. I was transported to 1998 when I was a huge fan of this pair as a couple. They have always loved each other, even when not romantic, and he knows how well she knows him. Afterward, when Tea told Starr that she was "not sure" if he was fully aware of the baby-switch, it was clear that she is sure he is fully capable of such an act. One of the best scenes on GH in a very long time. The rest of the episode was unremarkable but felt that much more insignificant as it surrounded the Tea/Todd material. I miss OLTL so much

I loved it all but Starr, Trey and Kate all fell flat with all the awesomeness going on!!
Sam, Jason and the baby were just perfect for me. Him saying he wanted them to come home with him!! Alexis all over the baby- only he can call me Grandma!! The Davis coven need a boy to spoil!! Baby Danny is so stinkin cute it makes me want to have another baby!!
Tea and Todd!! I like that even though I don't know them their chem makes me see right away what's going on. I am not sure if I am right but I felt like Tea totally knows what he did it because she knows him and she is taking him down. That little exhausted sound she made when she left made me tear up. I would much rather have her on then the two newbies with no connections. At least with OLTL people their chemistry and connections have a way of getting to me.
Jason and Sonny- my first bromance.. I will miss them when they were awesome!! Thank you to them both!!
I really wish Monica got to hold the baby!! The other thing I wish is for a scene with Tea and Sam where Sam can tell Tea what her baby looked like. I am still pissed that she will be denied ever seeing his face..

fashionista - can you tell me the scene where liz told sam about the maternity test? i only remember liz saying she had tried to manipulate the divorce situation. if it was at the lake house, liz never said anything about the baby because jason asked her not to.

I also felt that Steve was tearing up at the end in the scene with Sonny. I assume this may be their last scene together before Jason's exit.
So glad to hear Jason tell Monica and Sonny he wants Sam and wants to be Daniel's father. He just doesn't know, he really is his father. I can't wait for the scenes for today, when Jason asks for Sam's forgiveness in all the wrong he did to her.
Love the Davis clan. The addition of baby Daniel is just wonderful! He is just a cutie.

This week has been great! Love those babies playing Daniel! I could have done without the X-Rated Yogurt play by Johnny and Connie. I really miss the old Kate. I don't mean the old actress, I mean the character Kate used to be, a very classy, fashion forward, savvy woman. Connie is just so trashy and over the top, it's hard to watch sometimes without laughing.
I want them to be integrated already, followed by a haircut and color for Kelly Sullivan. I am thinking some layers and a chestnut brown color? Trashy bleach blonde is so not Kate Howard!

Happy shared birthday, Perkie! I never realized that I shared Robin's birthday, too.
As for the episode, I can't say any more than what's already been said about the amazing scene between Todd & Tea - just outstanding acting by both of them. And it made me miss OLTL once again. Loved how Molly was so excited that there was finally a Davis man in the family. The comment about Johnny looking at Catholic schoolgirl websites was pretty funny but unfortunately was about Connie's only enjoyable moment of the hour. I miss Megan Ward and her cool portrayal of a fashion maven - I enjoy Kelly Sullivan as Connie, but I just don't buy her as Kate.

Todd and Tea scenes were wonderful. FL and RH are two fantastic actors that know how to sell a story. The last scene had me leaning forward to look into RH's eyes...best part of this episode.
The rest of the show....ughh...I am trying not to say anything...I don't like Jasam...I make no bones about it...but I am happy for their fans getting this little bit of happiness before it is all over...I really am happy for them....but their scenes are so "Puketastic" I can't get through them. Neither actor is invested in them, and they are so falsely saccharine... I end up laughing in incredulity. I did like the Davis Coven welcoming baby Danny. I always enjoy their mother/daughter scenes, however (more so when Lexi was Krissy). Baby Danny DOES end up stealing every scene he is is though...(he is just too darn cute). With that said as much as I love SBu, I am looking forward to Monday...Then this reunion will be over, and Sam will be moving on with her life.

Oh...I forgot ...one more thing. I have always liked the character of Johnny...but obviously this new management does not. They have been slowly but surely ruining him with these story lines. I don't have to list all the things he has done the last few months...you all know what he has been up to...but I have to say I was offended by the way he manhandled and struck out at Crazy Connie in this episode. I can't believe the show is now adding physical abuse to the list. Why???? I don't like it, and I am mad that they continue to ruin what was once one of my more favorite men on this show.

Liz & the DNA results had nothing to do with Daniel's kidnapping. Heather & Todd are responsible for it. Liz LIED to Jason about the results. (The baby wasn't Sam's) When Liz told Jason the truth, that she lied, she said she was going to tell Sam everything. Jason told her not to. (Aired 10/2/12)

I LOVED the scene where Sam was feeding Danny and the sun was shining through the window surrounding them with light!!! The Sam/Danny/Jason scenes were beautiful!!! As were the scenes with Monica and the Davis girls!!! I loved all of them so much!!! The baby is adorable and all of the scenes were joyous and delightful to watch!!!!! Loved that Grandma Alexis could have an entire nursery delivered and set up with just a phone call! KeMo and NLG were wonderful!!! I look forward to many more Davis and Quartermaine family scenes!!!
The Connie/Johnny scenes were actually painful to watch.
The Tea and Todd scenes were well done. Although I hate Todd and Tea isn't one of my favorite OLTL characters, it was nice to watch the two actors working together, especially now that FL has stopped screaming at the top of her lungs.
I cannot believe that Duke and Joe Jr were standing around casually discussing killing Kristina! Like it was no big deal to murder a young woman in cold blood!!! They are both disgusting creeps and the sooner they are off my screen and hopefully dead, the better!!!
Loving my Jasam family for as long as I've got them!!!!!
