It gets very heated on this board, but it's way beyond the pale to make assertions about a person's state of mind or imply that because someone says "I don't like you" it means that they have a psychological issue. IMHO, that's an extremely mean-spirited, ad hominem, nasty little bit of vitriol.

As far as who needs to be right all the time, IMHO, LizFF are as guilty or guiltier of it than JasamFF and SamFF.

Tealita you got to it first.. Ditto! There have been times on here that many of these posters jump on me for being critical of Liz. The same posters say all sorts of nasty an vile things about Sam. Yet then you want to call people out for calling out Liz. It is OK for people to dislike her- some posters have total double standards..

Tealita- no it just isn't the same. Liz has no reason to believe little Jason isn't perfectly safe. Afterall, she knows Sam will endanger children so one could look at it as if Liz is protecting the child. Who is to say Sam would 't save herself over the baby? Liz's perspective- she has more reason to believe a child is safe with Tea who is a stranger over the devil she knows.

Nobody is saying Liz is right but she is certainly less wrong.

I applaud the desire to protect Sassy. I do not think she has psychological issues. I do think it is interesting that you all are equating someone "attacking" sassy with attacking Sam and overlooking Sassy attacking me.

By the way, I almost never think I am right because I while I understand right from wrong in the real world. Soaps are a different kettle of fish. For soaps, i embrace story and characters. I don't think there is a right and wrong to a Liz and Sam debate. There is only subjective opinion and taste. I like Liz. I like seafood. I like Glee. I don't like Sam. I don't like red meat. I never understood anyone's fascination with reality TV that wasn't competition and talent based. See, simply my tastes. Now, where right and wrong comes into it is being rude and attacking a poster for something not nice about a character. Real vs. imaginary.

See right there - you are suggesting that sam would endanger her own child so she is better off with the person who may have participated in the kidnapping. I find that shocking. Liz doesnt KNOW tea or know how tea is as a mother. All she knows is that SOMEONE kidnapped danny and switched him with a dead baby leaving sam to grieve and creating a situation where tea has the child. For all Liz knows Tea made the switch. what we the audience knows and what liz knows are two different things and every moment that child is with tea, assuming that tea didnt take her, is another opportunity for the kidnapper to move the child again. Moreover liz should by now know that heather has escaped - she works with her brother daily and this has to be one of the biggest things in his life right now (the other really being olivia's lsd situation) and any normal person would be talking about it. Since jason explained when liz handed him the wrong results that he was SURE that this was the child because heather hates sam that SHOULD have at least tipped her a little bit to the idea that heather could be after another way to hurt sam and knows all about the location of the child. For you and liz to say oh tea is safe is no different than sam in the middle of her breakdown saying maureen is safe because all she wants is a child to love and liz is a lying skank so this kidnapping is justified. NEITHER woman was right. And for the record, im not sure why you keep insulting sam for not graduating high school. She was trying to protect her brother from a murder rap and she gave up EVERYTHING, including her opportunity to earn a regular diploma, to protect her family. I may hate how she went about it, but I also understand that 18 year olds dont always have the best judgement. too I admire the sentiment, to protect someone you love at all costs. Since then she HAS earned a ged. That was part of the story with alexis and its a requirement to get a pi license. Moreover we see her reading magazines, saying oh I have books from molly and working on a computer which means she is NOT illiterate. Its kind of snobby imho to suggest that someone who has a ged instead of a diploma is somehow less than.

I am also amused by the statement Sassy doesnt like the webbers FOR SOME REASON like the idea that someone doesnt like liz is simply so preposterous that you cant even imagine a reason. lol i could give you a hundred reasons someone might not like Liz webber including the fact that shes a dishonest witch who endangers children. since none of her family could be bothered with her other than steve and audrey its hard to comment on the rest of the webbers. When you see someones impression of various things over that length of time you get a pretty clear picture of what you think of them. Sassy doesnt like vet. Do you like everyone you know? I think you have way oversimplified things here suggesting this is about not liking someone JUST because they dont like one character or another because in not liking a character for various reasons you are also expressing your tolerance for certain traits and tangentially you make references to your thoughts about certain things IE: I just mentioned that vet's posts about sams education is sort of a snobby view on geds. Over time you see enough little things about someone that you start to get SOME idea of who they are. Sassy has seen interacted with vet enough and put together enough little things so that she knows she doesnt care for her. Just like others know enough about her to form the opposite view. Is it psychotic to like someone from their posts? A number of us are friends OFF the board. Since one is just the opposite side of the coin, wouldnt both things be equally nutty (or equally IMHO totally normal)?

And for the record I do like the Webbers, just not Elizabeth. As I've been watching GH for 39 years, I can say that there were many Webbers that I really liked and enjoyed watching including Elizabeth as a teenager. I just don't like the adult she turned out to be.

I am not sassys surrogate but I am her friend. And you will note my post said nothing about you or anything about whether she is correct in disliking you, just defending her against the unwarranted attack on her character and our individual rights to dislike who we dislike and like who we like.

Oh wow. I was going to comment but EET beat me to it. To say that Liz is not endagering or would have continued to endanger a child, i.e. baby Daniel is so not true. Since she had the correct paternity results, and KNEW that Tea's baby was actually Sam's, then any intelligent individual will wonder hmm how did this happen? How did Sam's baby and Tea's baby get switched and who was involved? There is obviously foul play involved and like Jason also told Liz beforehand, he was starting to suspect Sam was right about a baby switch, hence Jason's investigation and the request to have Tea's baby tested with Sam to see if they were a match!! So Liz, had to suspect something not right was going on. That should be enough to say, or question that maybe the baby is in danger. And since Liz not too long ago found out that Aiden's paternity results were tampered with, then I would think she would be a little more sensitive to the whole situation.

I just popped in to see what is going on at DC. It makes me really glad that I have given up GH and I am weaning myself off of DC. The personal attacks and the vehement arguments over fictional characters takes on a new perspective when you step away from all of this for a bit. I found myself shaking my head and wondering why someone would feel the need to insult and try to hurt a real person (not an actor or a celebrity who puts themself out there, but an ordinary person just trying to express her opinion) over a fictional show.

This is not our first grandchild. We have four grandsons. This is my daughters first child though. My husband and I are very excited. She is going to make a great mother. She has wanted it forever. Thank you both for the well wishes.
