Lark Voorhies Struggling with Bipolar Disorder
By Luke Kerr on October 03, 2012

Former Days of Our Lives, The Bold and The Beautiful and Saved by the Bell star Lark Voorhies has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, her mother Tricia tells People.
"There are things that have traumatized her," says Tricia, 64, who shares a home with her daughter in Pasadena, Calif. "I care deeply about my daughter and I want her to resume her life."
Voorhies is best known for her role as Lisa Turtle in Good Morning, Miss Bliss and Saved by the Bell. She portrayed Wendy Reardon on DAYS from 1993-1994 and played Jasmine Malone on B&B between 1995 and 1996.

Bless her heart! I've always liked her since Saved By the Bell, then on Bold and the Beautiful. I send her love, light, prayers, and positive energies. To her family also!

I was a regular Saved by the Bell viewer and Lisa Turtle was my favorite character. At the time, I thought Lark Voorhies was one of the most beautiful women in the world, and a very good actress with a very engaging presence to boot. I hope she gets better and continues her career. She will be in my thoughts and prayers.
