EJ Loses His Leverage Over Rafe on Days of Our Lives
Chad (Casey Deidrick) strode into the Brady Pub and told Gabi (Camila Banus) that with Melanie (Molly Burnett) gone, he has no reason to keep quiet. When Chad started to call the police, Nick (Blake Berris) interjected and told him it wasn’t going to go down that way.
Nick blackmailed Chad, saying if Gabi went down for her crimes, he would have Chad arrested for beating him. Chad needs to lie down on Marlena's (Deidre Hall) couch. He isn't handling Melanie's (Molly Burnett) exit very well!
Rafe (Galen Gering) interrupted Sami (Alison Sweeney) and EJ’s (James Scott) private moment at the coffee shop. At first EJ didn’t appear happy about it, but he smirked like a tomcat lapping up a bowl of cream when Rafe told Sami he didn’t think they were possible. Sami accepted Rafe’s apology, as EJ relished the moment.
Rafe arrived home and started talking to a picture of Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, mean Arianna (Lindsay Hartley) about how another sister of his was in trouble. Will (Chandler Massey) dropped by and revealed he’d told his mom not to give up on Rafe.
When EJ learned Chad had signed a legal document protecting Gabi, he went through the roof. What will EJ do, now that his leverage over Rafe has been signed away?
Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) teetered on the edge of exploding. Lluckily for Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Caroline (Peggy McCay) arrived to help diffuse the situation.
Billie (Lisa Rinna) told Bo (Peter Reckell) quitting the force was one of the best ideas she’d heard.
