General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
Patrick apologizes to Sabrina for Emma’s behavior. Britt commends Sabrina in Patrick’s presence, but when he leaves she yells at Sabrina that she wants Patrick to herself. Sabrina imagines throwing food in Britt’s face.
Carly runs into Liz and tells her that she has no future with Jason. Liz doesn’t understand where Carly is coming from until Carly mentions the birthday kiss that Sam witnessed. Carly admits she was threatened by Liz relationship with Jason and knows he confides in Liz, but that it’s not a real relationship. Liz says Carly has no idea what she and Jason share and that she doesn’t believe what Carly is telling her. Carly warns that Liz will be hurt when Jason goes back to Sam. Liz points out that Sam signed the papers, but Carly says they both have to sign and want it.
Alexis asks if Jax has regrets about signing the divorce papers, but he’s more worried about Carly’s relationship with Johnny . He says she’ll regret trusting him. Alexis reassures him that Johnny is devoted to Carly, but Jax knows Johnny is keeping secrets. Jax questions her relationship with Shawn and promises to kick his butt if he doesn’t treat her right.
Sonny wants to understand why Kate would hire the Star for the wedding, rather than the Metro Court. At first, Connie says she wants the Star because its Lulu’s. Then she says she didn’t want the Metro Court because of what happened with Connie at his party. As Connie’s leaving the restaurant, she’s grabbed by a couple of men.
Todd asks Johnny what he’s done about Heather. Johnny claims his men have tracked her south and are on the trail. He says Connie needs to be dealt with because she has enough dirt to bury them both. As Johnny’s leaving his place, he’s grabbed by a couple of men.
Jason interrupts Carly and Liz. Liz says the DNA results should be back and asks if Jason wants to go to the hospital with her.
Johnny is taken to Sonny, who says they need to get things straight about Connie. Sonny says he won’t forget what they did to him. He says Kate has healed, but Connie thinks she’s Johnny’s ally and that Johnny needs to let him know if Connie reappears. Sonny says he expects Johnny to hurt Carly again, but he won’t use Connie to do it.
Connie’s taken to Todd. She angrily reminds him that she’s getting married tomorrow and that Sonny will kill him if he finds out. Todd tells her that he knows she’s Connie, Johnny caused the car accident and not her and that she needs to say goodbye. Connie asks if he’s planning on killing her. She realizes that Johnny must have something on Todd. Connie wonders what could be worse than causing a child’s death. Connie says if Todd kills her, Sonny will go after Johnny and wonders how long before Johnny gives Todd up.
Connie assures Todd that she won’t be saying anything because then Johnny will tell Sonny that she isn’t Kate. Connie will be sent to a hospital. She says Johnny needs to do what he’s told. Todd wants to know what she expects Johnny to do. Todd is impressed with what Connie tells him, realizing that it will also break up Johnny and Carly.
Carly runs into Shawn, who wonders why she seems sad. She mentions the divorce papers and that she’ll always love Jax, but now loves Johnny. Carly swears that Johnny is open and honest with her. She mentions Alexis and Jax marriage, which surprises Shawn. She plays it up but then admits that it wasn’t a real marriage. Carly asks if things are serious between him and Alexis. Shawn says he’d like to see where it goes.
Patrick apologizes to Britt and wants another try at a date. She says a friend cancelled for tonight, but he doesn’t have a babysitter. Sabrina overhears and offers her services again. Britt thinks Sabrina is trying to ruin her date again. Sabrina daydreams that she pulls Britt’s hair out, but then assure her that she has everything under control.
Jax gives Carly his copy of the papers and complains about her relationship with Johnny. Carly swears Johnny is good to her and has told her everything. They say their goodbyes.
Johnny asks Todd if he’s gotten rid of Connie. Connie comes in and says it’s not that easy to get rid of her and now he has to pay.
Liz brings Jason the lab results, but stops him before he opens them. She says it will be a long road in getting the baby back and wants to help him. Jason reads the papers which say the baby is not a match to Sam. He’s angry that he was so sure but was wrong. Liz says she knows he wanted to bring the baby back to Sam, but it’s over now and he needs to let it go.

Well....the last time liason got together tptb decided to turn Sam into a woman who watched babies be kidnapped and threatened them in parks...so I can't say I feel sorry for the Liz fans on this one...but I can relate... The liason versus jasam war would have reached to epic proportions if SB was staying though...

Ron is going to get someone hurt. People are all fired up and we still don't know what the real deal is. Carly has been tamed,Connie is Just disgusting so go on Liz! Crush Jason's heart! Jake had to die so Jason wouldn't be seen as The Danger so I don't care where they go with this. It's cracking me up. If Liz wasn't the one that did it I will be disappointed. Girl needs something to do. And if I have to watch one more Sabrina daydream,I will hurl.

It's plot-driven, not character-driven. That's the problem! And some might say it's just a soap character and people shouldn't get worked up all over this, but I understand the frustration.
Soap operas still have this magic that these characters become part of our lives. We get to know them, love them, love to hate them or just hate them.
For me letting Liz tamper with those DNA results seems out of character. When you look at her history with Aiden and Jake, Liz would never be able to do this. It just doesn't fit to the character I've known for 15 years.
And yes people do bad things. But it has to fit with their history. And this it doesn't where Liz is concerned in this case. I know a lot of Liz haters are going to have a feel day out of it ... but let me tell you: The moment when characters start to act for plot - it's NEVER a good sign.
I loved Alexis/Jax talk and wished the divorce between Carly and Jax weren't final. Carly deserves so much better than Johnny.

I love Sabrina and Dr.Britt. I think they are fun interim characters. Dr. Britt reminds me so much of Hope from Days of Our Lives...she is so beautiful. She is not as nice as Hope though, she will probably turn out to be a class A bizotch!
I am hearing rumors that Johnny Z (Brandon Barash) Is leaving the show. I wonder how Carly will find out about what Johnny did?

That is what happen with writers who does not know the characters they write for.
Suddenly Liz is a vilain, Carly is not savvy anymore and let an imature moron like Johnny get the best of her.
Trey/kristina are new chacacters and are boring like hell. Same with Starr/Micael.
Kate is unrecognizable even with a mental illness.
Anna would never give Luke the time of day and surely not start a relationship with a guy who proved beyound doubts ever being able to have one.
Those writers are just incompetent. Off with their heads!

I'm happy with some of their choices. I still think Frank Valentini is a wonderful producer bringing back people like Robin Mattson, Finola Hughes and Sean Kanan.
And I believe Ron Carlivati is a good writer. Some actions just let me questioning if he's the right one for GH. Carly is acting completely clueless while Kate is not even a shadow of the person that was introduced to us only five years ago. And now Liz ...

Wait- first off we don't even know if Liz did it right. I mean she looks guilty it doesn't mean she is. Secondly if she did I think it makes for a great soap story. If she did it will make for great scenes. If your a FF then it sucks but no character is a saint and to get good stories and meaty material this is what happens. I don't know any character on the show that would not be capable of moments of weakness. Also when they did it to Sam during the SOS I never stopped watching. I still supported the show because I was supporting her as an actress. Before I get what a character would do arguement- there is no way in heck that Sam would have done what she did that summer IMO. It may be your opinion otherwise but that's the way I saw it. Hopefully RH is excited that she has really good stuff coming up.
Jasons face when he read the results broke my heart.. He had tears and was so sad..
CarJax saying goodbye broke my heart.. Grrrr- why would Carly let Jax get away. As always I loved my Alexis and Jax scenes..

To me, this just further goes to the Jasam propping that's been shoved down our throats since 2004. They tell us that Jason & Sam are meant to be together, but they never show us. Now, the Jasam fans/Liz haters have a valid reason to feel the way they do. This triangle could've been epic if played FAIRLY. Liz isn't just some woman obsessed. Her love story with Jason started years before Sam & even Courtney. I'm just really disappointed in RC for this move. Now, Liz will be forever vilified when everyone else in Port Charles has done much worse.

There is no way that Liz would keep a child from their parents. Never, ever, ever!
I get that SBu is leaving the show, but there is no need to write Liz as going all bat shitz crazy by tampering with DNA tests or faking a breakdown. Jeez. If Liason was off the table because SBu was leaving the show, I would have been happy seeing the couple that always told each other the truth no matter what. Liz would want Jason to be happy and if that happiness was with Sam, the baker or candle maker, she would not get in his way, and she definitely would never mess with a baby!

Yes, JaSam has to be propped because the couple can't stand on it's own UNLESS Liz is used as their angst or punching bag. Liason has never had to be pimped or propped because the couple just oozes chemistry, history and friendship.
RC really should have gone out to YT to watch Liz, Jason and Liason scenes before coming up with his current plot points.

This LizFF sees Liz as a flawed woman who has made terrible choices but this goes beyond a terrible choice and instead seems cruel. If she tampered with the results and no that has not been established but if she did it was premeditated in her asking to take the results to the lab. The idea that she would keep apart mother and child for any reason forget a desire to be with Jason, when her child was taken from her...this isnt soapy, it's character assassination. I watched Marty Saybrooke get this treatment from RC on OneLife, hated it then not interested now.

I don't understand why Ron had to do this. Jason already told Elizabeth he could never be with her, why add insult to injury by making him hate her forever too? Also, and I understand people have weak moments, but I don't believe this is something she would ever do. It's not like she's fighting to keep a man she's in a full-blown relationship with and is just about to loose (or even one she JUST lost for that matter). Jason's been out of her life for years, and she's only now reconnecting with him. Why would she stoop this low all for a chance to try and be with him. I just don't get it.

If Liz did do it, then I agree with maxsmom. It is character assassination. Liz makes poor choices, but she isn't ever cruel. She would never keep a child from its mother, especially after losing Jake.
Some say that this happens and give Sam as an example. I'm sorry, but having a woman watch a mentally ill woman kidnap a child and then threaten kids in a park with armed men when that character has already married men and conned them out of their money, was convicted of prostitution, and threatened to abort her 1st pregnancy many times is not out of character. She did bad things for selfish reasons well before harming Jake and Cam. She had bad intentions behind her actions before and after coming to PC.
I know SamFF will disagree with this and come up with many reasons why they think I am wrong, but this is my opinion.
So, if they go through with trashing Liz, them I am done with GH. I can't take anymore of this crap for my favorite actor on the show. It would be different if they gave her something good in between the crap, but they don't. I hope RH finds something better for herself when her contract is up and just walks away from GH. I would watch her in anything else....because anything else would have to be better than this.

Ugh, I am going back to watching DOOL @ 2 at least until this Liz mess is over. Unless she had a psychotic break, Liz wouldn't keep a child from his mother after the Jake thing, not just for a chance to moon over Jason! I find the whole thing disturbingly out of character. Definitely enjoyed the Alexis/Jax scenes as well as the Carly/Jax scenes. I guess I'm okay with the divorce between Carly and Jax as it does give them a chance to rebuild/reconnect someday.... but not if Jax isn't on the show (ah, there is it, the thing I have a problem with). Cartini, please do what you have to and get this man back FULLTIME!
Now, do I have a problem with Liz "if" she's the reason the baby results didn't show it is Sam's baby... yes, I do BUT I don't think it's Liz that's at fault here and until I see a scene that proves otherwise, she's not to blame. Again, I'm curious where this is going and prolonging the reveal could be prove for some interesting outcomes and some strong scenes with several actors heating up the show from the aftermath. Time will tell.
Now the Patrick plot, though nice seeing him get more screen time, screams a little Disney Channel for me... just saying. Then again GH does air on ABCDisney... ahem.
