Dancing With The Stars: All Stars premiered Monday night on ABC, and General Hospital sexpot Kelly Monaco (Sam) represented daytime well! Strutting with Val Chmerkovskiy, the Season One winner wowed the judges with a sultry Cha Cha.

SHE WAS SO AWESOME OUT THERE!!!!LOVED ALL THE GH LOVE AND SUPPORT SHE GOT ON TWITTER AND FROM THE CAST THAT WAS IN THE AUDIENCE. It hasn't started here yet but now I am even more excited. One thing I know is on prior seasons sometimes the person I was gonna go for gets changed just because I enjoy seeing someone else dance and get the behind the scenes. This happen with both Erin Andrews and Jennifer Grey. I use to love to see Kelly's behind the scenes. She always took the critism so well and was fun to watch. I am hoping she will pick up some new fans...
All the twitter stuff is really cute out there. RH posted one of her kids that is to cute for words and NLG is going nuts on twitter..

Got home from teaching in time to see her. (Saw from Apolo Anton Ono to the end.) She definitely has come out firing on all cylinders and if she's showing any "wear and tear" after a seven year "lay off" it's not obvious. Her overall moves were crisp, the footwork was deft, and the chemistry with Val was a big plus. She does need to stretch her knees in areas of certain moves that will require a particular length of line but that's something that can be easily recognized and fixed. Being that this was her first time doing this particular Latin dance she could have been more agressive, but I can understand if she was, if not tentative, then concerned about being "correct" in her execution. I would have given her scores of 7-7.5. I think all three judges were hesitant to grade anybody really high on this first night, although Emmit Smith and Giles Marini deserved their scores. Overall I really liked her performance and would love to see her go far in this field. And that "Good Luck" video from RH's children is totally sweet. Nice to see NLG and AG at the edge of the floor too...

Kelly did so awesome! She looked great and is in the top 5 of the women. I can't wait to see more of her dances as the week's progress. The chemistry with Val is smoking hot! Not to mention they are close in height. I think Kelly got the perfect partner.

It was AWESOME - I kept flicking the channel to make sure I got to see her and she looked amazing, danced with no hint of a 7-yr layoff and the chem between her a Val was smoking.
I also wanted to comment on how sad it is that someone as young as Bristol Palin is looking so plastic while Kemo who might have had her boobs done has never done anything to alter her face. I mean I would have sworn that Bristol was older than Kemo. And can someone tell hot-mess Pamela Anderson to dial up the cray-cray - I mean the look she gave Bristol while they were sitting on the couch...meow

Is it just me or is it so obvious that Val has a huge crush on her? Their chemistry is great- I also think one of the reasons I like watching her is that she seems easy to teach.. They worked well together..

Still can't stand the character or the actress, but I thought that KM did a great job with her dance number. She has good chemistry with her partner, she looked great, and danced really well.

Well he did comment on the size of her boobs so that gotta mean something. I was expecting her to say "They're the real deal!" or "Brought and paid for, honey!", but she just Val go unanswered.
I have to say as well that Kelly was amazing! Melissa Rycroft, Joey Fatone, Giles and Emmet were great as well.

I thought the field was pretty even. My picks for possibly going home first would be Pamela Anderson and Kirstie Alley. I have a history of distaste for Max. I always pull for the professional dancers that never win like Tony and Louis. They looked like they finally got paired with celebrities who might go the distance.
Kelly danced fine but I wouldn't place her in the top 5. She seemed stiff. Bristol looked more relaxed.

I thought she was awesome and its nice to see so much love on this thread. I think her participation only helps the show. I adored the vid from beckys kids - they are cute as a button - and it was nice too to see TG and NLG in the audience. I know kelly has a close relationship with both so Im sure their attendance meant the world to her. Im guessing that for as long as they are on they will have various people in the audience from the show as part of a cross promotion.
As for how she faired - I agree with the post that the competition is very evenly matched this year except for maybe the three sort of obvious few that just arent up to snuff - pam, bristol (who I think was the most improved) and kirstie. I really hope that people vote not based on popularity but on actual skill. If that happens then those three go first and then its anyones ball game imho.

I think kelly lucked out with val. I could see max fighting her every step of the way because she has a full time career (which lets face it is a major disadvantage vs. some of the others that can focus on dancing and ONLY dancing or at least for the most part) and he would want her to give this all of her energy. I really think she has great chemistry with val and given how close she was with her last partner i could see that it likely would have been a nightmare if she didnt have that same chem this go round.
