Well Hollywood Heights has a talented young cast. Why bother looking so much and doing a casting when you already have someone in your mind.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is Brittany Underwood. Even though I still think SORASing Summer is one big mess MAB created. That kid grew up way too fast.

However now that they are recasting and probably put Summer a little bit more front and center, I'm glad that Lindsay Bushman isn't there anymore. Sorry but she needs to take a few more acting lessons before even considering taking roles.

Yet another HH actress? Who was the first HH actress? We've had a HH actor replace Noah, but this is the first actress. Is their another HH actress coming that hasn't been announced?

While I love Brittany Underwood, I find her to old for the role of summer. It appears that Eden isn't going anywhere, I would take BU as an Eden recast, flush out the character and make us like her.

Kids today haven't heard of the term "FOJ" huh?

She sounds as obnoxious as Kevin Schmidt. (Mr. "There's only ONE Noah Newman, Sorry to Those who were Watching Y&R for ME!") Ha.

I don't mind them recasting these roles. I just don't think they should go in and try to recast Jack, Nikki, Jill, etc. That would be ridiculous.

It seems that Sony used HH as a sort of training ground/trial period for it's new actors...I am taking money on Brandon P Bell being cast as Tyler Douglas and Shannon Kane being the new Lily.

Shannon Kane as the new Lily would be awesome. I could get behind that 100%. However when it comes to Tyler ... I actually liked the one who's video was posted on DC.

Boy, JFP isn't wasting any time! And Lindsay, you should never complain like you did on twitter! That does not endear you to other casting directors for any future roles down the road. Both you and Kevin G. Schmidt shot yourselves in the foot with your tweets!

Speaking of Lily, Jamey have you heard anything on the contract negotiations front with Christel Khalil?

I'm sure she is a nice gal but very forgettable on air. I agree Summer should have never been SORASED! I wish MAB had been fired before she did all this. I am not the least bit involved in any scenes any of these newly grown teens are in. They are all strangers to me who take up too much air-time. I hope MAB gets a chronic itch in the worst place that lasts as long as the torture she put us all through.

What youngsters like these two need to get is that they have been part of this industry for such little time but speak like they've been there for more than a decade, made that role popular and drove major story.

Lindsay Bushman, even more than Kevin Schmidt, is relatively new to all this. And while I accept them being sad about losing a gig (and the money) but these kids should stop putting self-entitlement in their reactions.

I just know that her contract lapses at the end of this month. Baby girl wants what she WANTS. I bet TPTB already have someone waiting in the wings to replace her, and the person will be announced on Oct. 1st. Unless baby girl decides to stay at the 11th hour. Hope they tell her "sorry sweetie. You took too long and we've already made other plans."

We haven't been hearing anything about auditions for a new Lily, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. If there have been they've probably been taking place off site somewhere. If there was a parade of actresses showing up at CBS to audition for the role we would have heard about it.

@soapjunkie88: Yes Shannon Kane would bring the heat to the streets! She's got backbone, spunk and strength! That is what the character is missing. Currently CK plays her like some Gone With The Wind, Great Gatsby lay across the couch and come save me bore. With a lack of talent to boot! So bring on Shannon Kane if they can work it out.

@Coffee_Junkie: I want her to walk in on Friday and hear the new actresses name coming over the intercom like they did when they brought "baby girl" back to replace Davetta Sherwood.

But as I have told you, for a one night stay in a hotel and free mean. I'll come down and be an assistant for the day and catch her as she is going to her car and let CK know:

I won't miss Lindsay Bushman, but Summer doesn't need to be recasted, she should be off the canvas completely. Her being there will just bring more storyline to Phyllis, which is one of the last things this show needs.

They should keep Abby instead of Summer.

I think Summer should be a character in her very early teens. They can still get lots of drama from that age group (They did with Cassie, Lily, and Colleen) She doesn't need to be played by a twenty-something actress.

I have a MAJOR problem with this if it is going to be a trend. I don't want Y and R to be a HH retread. It's offensive to the history of the show. I'm beginning to see that my early reservations about JFP are true and that what most GHers have said about her is true as well.

No she wasn't. Neither was Kevin Schmidt. And people get all worked up over this.

BTW, if Summer is recasted with a Hollywood Heights actress, it would only be the second cast member of this show joining Y&R.

Look at how many former AMC stars have joined the show under MAB. Nichols and Francis were both on GH...
And now people keep complaining about two DAY PLAYERS being recasted with actors from the same show. Now you start complaining? LMAO

I don't object at all to the teenybopper/YA crowd being recast by HH people. Big flipping deal; if they are passable acting-wise, so what? These characters (Noah and Summer) don't have all that much backstory besides formerly being kids pre-SORAS. Kevin Schmidt could act, but not this Lindsay Bushman chick. Nevertheless neither one of them are vets, so it's not like this is a case of FOJ from previous soaps replacing longtime favorites or something. And KS left at least once in the past to do a side project. Maybe Sony/CBS are unsure he'll be available in the middle of SL and that's why they replaced him.Based on CK's negotiations, side work will probably be less entertained by this new regime (careful JB). Both of these youngins need to have a seat. Maybe when they have the tenure of someone like JM, SC, or MS, or some of the old school vets maybe then they can bitch on Twitter.

Speaking of KS and LB, the both of them could take some lessons from Marcy Rylan. NEVER badmouth your former employer, especially not on social media. That was just dumb. Especially when younger characters on this show and others have been recasted before if not a good fit or if SL direction changed. That Cam Gigadent dude played Daniel Romalotti for like one episode and was let go. He went on to do other things without crying about it. And if neither were on contact, both need to devour a giant helping of STFU!

Soapjunkie...yes, that's exactly what I mean. We already put up with the influx of faces from AMC and GH, why would we already want 2 from HH? I can also see these "dayplayers" getting tons of screen time. Just wait.

If my theory is correct, you guys will hate the nuSummer... I don't think it is Underwood because she is too old, however, it may be the girl that plated Adriana on Hollywood Heights, um Haley King; she's very attractive, and her character played a spoiled bitch!!! I mean she isn't out of this world amazing, but I liked her; however I doubt everyone else will!!!

This brat needs to sit down and shut up. She's a nobody actress. I don't think they would cast BU. They would cast the beautifuland talented Haley King who's been acting since she was a little girl.

I'll wait and judge then. What does it help to fall into panic mood? This is about two teen characters who haven't been portrayed by any brilliant actor where we would need to question this decision.
They also won't be overpaid or anything else. And as of know, I dare to say it again, it's about two people, two characters who were previously played by irrelevant dayplayers.
Of course they will play a much bigger role now. Because this regime will finally - and hopefully - make them recognizable.

This is the third time I've seen one of these little youngsters on twitter throwing tantrums about being fired from a soap. Like they forget they were recasts and when they came children younger than them were out of jobs but handled it better. Serious Ainsworth, Smchidt, Bushman need to tone down the self entitled attitudes. Brush it off, get back out there and audition and stop harping on losing a job in a dying part of the industry.

I agree even though I ain't mad at Ainsworth. She was spectacular in that role. She was front and center. LA rocked the abuse storyline and she was really integrated in the cast. AND she was on contract.
But Schmidt and Bushman ... they pop up every other week for one episode to SUPPORT story. Schmidt sometimes isn't seen for months. Bushman took this role over seconds ago. They have no business acting like vets or like they accomplished anything on that show. They haven't!
I would go even so far to say that if there weren't any reports about Schmidt and Bushman being fired, no one would notice until the new actors premiere. And then some might raise an eyebrow and say to themselves, 'Didn't he/she look different last week'. And that would be about it. LOL
