@MsAgentProvocateur1 I agree that I always thought that Olivia would be a good pairing for Sarge and/or Jack. She needs to be brought back full time along with Nate and let TPTB focus heavily on that side of the Winters/Barber clan for awhile instead of trying to find a replacement Drucilla for Neil (cause that is all they have been doing with the last 3 AA characters with Tyra, Sofia, and Harmony).

I agree that Harmony was not the same character at Yolanda. Maybe that's why the name was changed. But no one wanted to see some stereotypical BW in Genoa City. No one. Especially if they were going to have Neil rule out developing any feelings for Sofia for her. It was just dumb all the way around. It would have made more sense if Harmony had gone to and finished college and had been sober and free for a good period of time. Afterall, Yolanda was said to be a math wiz and very smart under LML. But MAB couldn't resist having her "know about nothing but music". Just a poor attempt on MAB's part to do a pygmalion Dru retread story. DM was too old for that story.

Morgan played Harmony well...she just had poor story. I love Debbi and wish things had turned out better for her..but I understand and embrace this decision. I would much rather see her go than a longtime cast member.

Maria Bell jumped at the chance to bring on all these notable stars and then gave them ABSOLUTELY nothing to do.

Tucker was played by 2 leading actors of primetime and daytime and the one who lasted the longest has had the dullest of stories told around him.

Genevieve was brought in and the character was out for revenge and I have to say that's when I liked her the most. It would have been interesting to have had her push Colin off the ledge, see him go off to prison and then work on her relationship with Cane and left the canvas. A one year gig. Maria kept her and made her pathetic.

Sarge and Harmony were brought on with yet more superstars in the roles and DUDS/

Honestly, I won't miss these characters but I do hope that they write in new cast because otherwise Victor will have to eventually marry Summer.

NO NO NO I do NOT want angie and jessie in Port Charles. I love the characters and I love the actors and while i would welcome D and D as NEW characters, i say the same thing I said about VI's david. I dont want GH to inherit the stupidity that was the last few years of amc. Sorry, but thats how i feel - plus honestly why one earth would jesse leave pine valley to be just another banana in PC. Dante already seems to be demoted for john and you have anna as commish. Why cant morgan come as a new doc and Williams come as another ward (or justus back from the dead). Conversely Williams could play a new doc to switch it up and let morgan come as maya's mother. She could be after a share of edwards money for her daughter or niece (i dont remember mayas back story regarding her parentage). She could also come as tjs mother - another option there and how refreshing if they brought her on first and didnt immediately make sean and her character lovers (i hate that the second you have two black characters, and only two, the writers feel like that means they have to be a pairing even if theres no chemistry. That thinking is such a throw back and really doesnt reflect modern society one bit)

So, no one can (or wants to) answer my question???

Even though it can be denied, I know Sarge was brought on to be an eventual third in a snooze fest that was Neil and Harmony. So really who cares about his nephew. It'd be more compelling to have Olivia back to town permanently with son in tow BOTH at the hospital. Dru'd show up somehow, so that would mean we'd need to see Mamie. Let's beef the Winters clan back up. Not wanting Sarge's nephew when no one wants Sarge. Just my opinion.

TV Gord ... your desperate pleas took so long to be responded to because probably no one could believe you were on a Y&R blog site but knew nothing about nor even watched the show. Beside, the information you were seeking was already readily available right here.

Not a surprise and no loss in my book, as far as the character goes. Love DM, but there was no chemistry with Kristoff St. John and frankly her interaction with Darnell Williams wasn't that great here either. Ill-conceived from start to finish so I'd say this is a needed cut. Who's next? My money's on Tucker, Sarge, Kyle or Eden.

I agree with you on letting Tucker go....he is annoying!! I posted yesterday that I am getting a lil worried that as many cuts as they have had to make due to $$ that this soap might be taken off the air too!!! I will cry

I don't know what you mean by "readily available right here". Where? I googled for the answer, but couldn't find it. I didn't think it was a big deal to ask, which you seem to think it is. I am a fan of Morgan's and Williams' from their years together on AMC and The City, so I was interested, but I have never watched Y&R. Does that clarify things for you?

They missed the boat on this one. DM had far better chemistry with SN but in their effort to black box up the black folks together, they looked past that. I will never understand why they did that. MAB botched the entire Devon daddy SL. the missed the chance for a real rival for Neil. They act like they are scared to pit him against anyone but Malcolm. He and Tucker should be hating each other's guts with a passion right now. But they rarely speak.

That's really no surprise.

While I love Debbi Morgan, YoHarmony was a fail right from the start. MAB and her hacks should have created a new role for her.

I'm pretty sure he is still on the show but very limited and he will most likely get axed as well. I say bring Angie and Jesse to Port Charles. Maybe Jesse is a cousin to Shawn on GH or something. I think it's unfortunate that during MAB's tenure, Y&R was able to get their hands on some really great talent, known actors with established fan bases, some who I really enjoyed on other soaps, like Stephen Nichols, Marcy Rylan, Debbi Morgan, Darnell Williams, Eden Riegel, Genie Francis, Maura West, Jennifer Landon, (I loved the last two on ATWT), but because of such terrible writing, I really had/have no interest in any of their characters.

Bring back Olivia and Mamie and Nath(the son.)Olivia and Neil always had chemistry but pair her with someone else(Jack) or some young hottie. Tonya is a great actress. Why is not there?
