Look Who Got Interviewed by The Minneapolis Star Tribune on This Fall's Daytime Talk Show Race!

The fall of 2012 could be the most significant start to a daytime television season in history. In addition to long-running ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital moving timeslots and someone other than Reege permanently sitting next to Kelly on Live, a whole crop of new talk shows premiered, all jockeying for the throne abdicated by Oprah Winfrey in 2011. Who will sink? Who will soar in the Nielsens?

I had the privilege of being interviewed by Neal Justin of the Minneapolis Star Tribune for his piece previewing this fall's daytime TV wars.  Here's a snippet of one of my answers to Justin about the importance of this TV season for daytime:

"This is probably the most significant fall season for daytime TV in history," said Jamey Giddens, editorial director for DaytimeConfidential.com, a website that's covered the terrain since 2007. "It's really going to be a battle."
