SOAP BYTES: Is Sharon the Grim Reaper on Young and Restless? Are Liam and Hope Really over on Bold and Beautiful?
DAYS BYTES: EJ (James Scott) asked Nicole (Arianne Zucker) if she’d heard the wonderful news that he is innocent of killing Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).
EJ: “You look very healthy.”
Nicole: “Is that another way of saying I’m fat?”
EJ: “You’re just a lot further along than the last time I saw you.”
EJ then reminded her that he had his own mystery to solve: the paternity of her baby.
Nicole later revealed to Daniel (Shawn Christian) that he scared her. She then fantasized about Daniel asking her to move in with him.
Roman (Josh Taylor) revealed to Sami (Alison Sweeney) that charges against Will (Chandler Massey) had been dropped. Sami thanked her father, but he said to thank Rafe (Galen Gering).
The Hortons and Marlena (Deidre Hall) were focused on Nick's (Blake Berris) parole drama.
EJ showed up at Sami’s with flowers and the two shared a wonderful family scene. When Grandma Brady took the kids away, EJ told Sami how grateful he was to her, and that he wanted to show her how he felt. Cue: EJami kiss.

I see the photo of Sharon on that GC web news site with the "Newman"s Grim Reaper" caption and can't help thinking it should actually be a picture of MAB and substitute "The Young and the Restless" for "Newman's". But that's me...

Y&R-just really don't know what to say about this show.I'm still watching but FF thru Victor,and may add Ronan to that.
B&B-haven't watched it in the last 2 days.I just read the recaps.Rick is not Rick anymore.He has become JR from AMC.
I really am enjoying Days,I like the way they are setting up the future stories,using the vets and the younger crowd.The stories are flowing better,and not a lot of repetition.I totally like the way Thurs that Adrienne,Sonny's mom,got involved.Missteps at the start of romances are a soap staple.Go WilSon,but I'm loving Brian also.

Did anyone notice that Sharon had Kyle's drivers' license in her possession and that MAB retconned his birth date to the year 1990?? Ugh - such awful, awful storytelling since he was a pre-teen when his mother Diane Jenkins was offed just last August 2011...
Also, what 22 y-o kid sits down and pours themselves a glass of scotch and drinks with their dad - really, MAB???
So glad you are history - now we just need to get through about 6 more weeks of the drek you have created - where's that scotch?!?

Bartman202 ... I get your consternation here but I don't have a problem with the driver license nor with the Scotch drinking. The license is appropriate and I know I was drinking Scotch (straight up) at that age. We just have to accept that Kyle is now much older than he used to be.

What kills me isn't the lack of storyline continuity regarding Kyle (soaps have been doing that for years). What kills me is how is "Christian" surviving without his anti-rejection meds. He'd be dead sooner rather than later since he had a heart transplant -- Colleen's (one of the worst storylines EVER!!!). TPTB could at least try to remember what has happened under his/her own regime. Is VN the new Chuck Norris? [A python bit Victor Newman and it died a painful excruciating death 5 days later]. I love Eric Braeden and Victor Newman but this is ridiculous!!!

robin316... I keep saying that Victor should remember why he still lives and leave his Abbott vendetta (mainly Jack and Billy) behind. Also, he shouldn't be able to do anything he's been doing to his body considering the care and massive medications needed to counter his various major ailments. And ... have you ever noticed any major scars when we've been forced to see him bare chested?

Very unrealistic. But we have MAB to thank for that bit of farce. I don't know that the "heart medication" is the anti-rejection or the regular heart pill. You get a few after heart surgery.
