On today’s Daytime Confidential podcast Luke Kerr, Jamey Giddens, Jillian Bowe and Regan Cellura are joined by TV Guide’s Michael Logan to dish August’s crazy soap headlines. From The Bold and the Beautiful to The Young and the Restless, they discuss it all.

Great podcast! I adore Michael Logan. His interviews are always great. He is one of a few who really asks the important stuff. Thanks for having him on. Very good episode. Smile

Can't wait to listen to this podcast. This August has probably been the craziest month in the history of soaps, from passive-aggressive homophobic tweets to big-name firings, hires, resignations, and the braying of an old goat named Braeden.

GH used to have outlandish stuff very early on. Mikkos Cassadine freezing the world with his weather machine and all the spy stories. Not to mention all the Cassadine storylines. Stavros returning from the death in the early 2000s...

So I'm going to wait and judge after I actually see what RC has planned.

@soapjunkie88: I remember a bit. I was too little of a tyke when that stuff was happening. It has never been my taste. I'm of a Agnes/Bill style of soap lover. Can't get too far out there or it turns into a farce. But I didn't like much of the stuff RC did on OLTL. So it will truly be a wait-and-see.

Surprised he doesn't have denture creme and other assorted powders and potions on his desk in his office.
