Tyler Douglas Audition Tape Reveals Possible Young and Restless SPOILERS!

A You Tube video of an actor named Redaric Williams auditioning for the role of Tyler Douglas on The Young and the Restless has revealed some juicy potential spoilers! First off, the character, who is reportedly a nephew of Sarge (Darnell Williams), appears to be coming to work for Neil (Kristoff St. John) at Jabot — though he pronounces it Ja-Butt!
Tyler's first encounter appears to be with a sassier version of Lily Winters, currently played by Christel Khalil. Could Tyler be a potential love interest for Lily? Can you say hella hot? Alright Jill and Josh, y'all are really starting to impress me. Watch the video after the jump!

Yeah it was a TOTALLY different Lily. I found myself listening to what she was saying, and that almost NEVER happens.
Nothing against the current Lily...it's just that she's so straightforward and kindhearted...never a bad word. She never does anything off the wall...never says exactly what she NEEDS to say. IDK. That Lily that was talking was definitely a little flirty, a lot more confident and playful...and IDK. Maybe a bit interesting.
I just hope we don't see character changes like that all throughout the show....
As for this guy auditioning....I think I like him

He's cute, but something about him reminds me of a chocolate version of John Driscoll's duller than dishwater ex-persona, Chance. Why bring on another cute guy who is forced to play a character that makes you want to bang your head against the wall to escape the boredom?
But he'd sure look pretty with his shirt off...........

Okay, here's a question that I'm wondering if anyone has even pondered yet and maybe Jamey can shed some light on this perhaps:
If this actor put this audition tape on YouTube himself, could he be in a lot of trouble with the brass at Y&R for doing so and if so, could he very well have just lost a potential job?

So I'm sure he had permission...if for nothing more than to get some buzz about the show. IDK. But yeah, this guy is definitely the best out of the ones I watched.

I wouldn't be surprised if these audition videos was 'leaked' online with a purpose.
I bet this is the type of 'buzz' that Sony would prefer Y&R generate rather than the fighting and craziness (even though its fun for many of us spectators) that is leaking onto Twitter, Facebook and media entities. This has people talking and intrigued, even people like myself who tuned out years ago.

Interesting audition tape. Don't know how I feel about him being brought in as a love interest for Lily when she's a married woman. Not to say that Lily and Cane can't eventually break up, but I think it would've been better if they had been having some problems before they decide to screw up their marriage.
I'm all for the show improving on the diversity(its been long overdue), but I think I would've preferred it if Lily was already a single woman before they decided to pair her with someone else.
Nice looking actor in the audition video. I actually think its great they're having him related to Sarge(the character has been in dire need of a back story).
